I'm new to this forum and generally new to flashing phones etc.
I bought a Meizu M2 Note, for testing. To learn to work with the SP Flash Tool.
The phone was broken (€ 7.5). I replaced the charging socket (2 €) and it works.
I tried to install TWRP, but by mistake (and ignorance) I format the whole memory of the phone along with the bootload.
Stock Rom did not help.
I searched the internet and found the "full" rom. Unfortunately without NVRam.
The phone works, but there is no IMEI.
After several hours of trying to restore IMEI, install StockRom and root by KingoRoot. I did it. The phone has an IMEI (or even two).
And now to the core of the problem...
The phone does not connect to the network.
WiFI works normally.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I tryed both SImSlots, i tryed by *#*#4636#*#* but its inactive...
i cant upload photos. ;/

Hi.
I have a Xiaomi Mi2S that doesn't connect to any cell networks.
I'm using CyanogenMod 11 nightlies, and after an update the phone lost its IMEI number. I had taken a backup of the NVRAM using EFS Professional, but when I looked for it the files where 0 bytes in length (probably a hard disk problem on my computer)
After trying a lot of stuff (installing stock MIUI, putting the phone in diag mode and installing a bunch of drivers), I managed to restore the IMEI number, but the phone still can't connect to the network.
I have tried a SIM from another company and it doesn't work. And my SIM works correctly in other phones, so I think that is not a SIM problem.
I don't know what to do... I tried flashing different ROMS, tried flashing a new baseband radio, but I can't get it to work! Is the phone lost???
Can anyone help me? I would appreciate it very much!!!!:crying:

Hello,
did you have some informations ? I have the same issue with my MI4... No more network after a flash of CM12... I hope you found a solution.
thanks.
Hello everyone,
As this is my first thread, and I have been reading previous assists based on IMEI fixing and couldn't find the answer I am looking for, I really hope that the XDA community can help me fix my Galaxy S4 I9500. I will try to explain the problem the best I can, and I will create a list of every solution I have tried in the 3 week phone fixing saga I have.
1. The problem :
My friend decided he does not need this phone anymore, everything was fine with it except the battery was swollen(but I bought a new one so it doesn't matter). The day before he gave it to me, he accidentaly dropped it in the toilet and it couldn't boot. I opened the phone, cleaned it with alchohol and the phone booted up normally. The thing I noticed was that in the status bar the network symbol was replaced with No signal symbol. I tried 3 SIM cards and none worked. I decided to downgrade to 4.4.2 KitKat version and this is where everything went even worse. I used Odin to downgrade a firmware downloaded from sammobile.com, but I didn't create an /efs backup because I have flashed an Alcatel Idol 2 before and there were no problems with the IMEI or so. It turns out that Samsung devices are different and I am left with NO EFS BACKUP. I know, I should have checked what to do before flashing the device, but what's done is done. The device is doing everything great, there are no problems with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth either, except I cant connect to a network because IMEI is null/null and the Baseband is unknown. The thing is, I am not sure if the IMEI is wiped completely because of a hardware problem, or it's software related because of the /efs folder, because I am not a developer, but a civil engineer...
2. Solutions I've tried so far :
- Flashed many different Android versions;
- Flashed a Lollypop with adonis.pit with Re-partition checked on Odin;
- Tried writing an IMEI and repairing the EFS with Octoplus box;
- Tried flashing an EFS backup from my friend's Galaxy S4 I9500 ( IT IS ILLEGAL IN MANY COUNTRIES, NOT IN MINE, BUT I WANTED TO TRY AND CHANGE THE IMEI LATER SO IT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM );
- Tried flashing with a IMEI_null_fix.tar.md5 file which i found on a forum and that didn't fix it either;
- Tried KIES to return the stock ROM but either it does not recognize my device, or it says that my device could not be initialized or so;
- Took the phone to service, but in my town the only service we have is not very professional and they didn't even know the IMEI null does not mean that I will have no wireless connection/bluetooth connection, so they didn't fix it either;
- Tried with EFS Pro, Terminal Emulator and programs similar to those, 3rd party and PlayStore ones;
- Maybe other things but I could not remember because I think I tried everything...
I don't know if the problem can be fixed, but deep inside me I hope that there is a solution, and I think this is the best place to search for help, because it is a great phone and I don't want to throw it away just like that.
Thanks in advance everyone, hope you can come up with a solution.
Hey,
anyone here with a ZTE Blade L6 and a running (stock) rom? I bricked mine using some chinese adware-root. After flashing a described as "stock" rom firmware image, i had the phone up and running, branded and netlocked by Digicel. With a little dirty work i now have it mostly unbranded and with another modem even online.
Now, my problem is the modem/baseband. Some give me emergency-calls and a working data connection (but only GPRS/Edge), some even the ability to make phone calls. BUT: I never got back the 3g/wcdma. The Mediatek Engineering-Mode tells me, its using the bands 850/2000(2100), 900 is grayed. As i am in Germany, this should be the issue.
Is anybody in here, who has a working L6 rom or knows how to unlock the wcdma-900 band?
My NVRAM doesnt seem to be changed, my IMEIs are still there..
Thanks in advance!
"Even if it was unlocked, your antenna wont do it!" isnt the right answer, it did before so why shouldnt it now? And its just 50 Mhz..
Same here, I need the real stock ROM or a working C-ROM for the ZTE Blade L6, not the Digicel FW. My phone has been "SIM-slot is permanently locked" after inserted a Sim Card which wasnt supposed for this ROM/Provider, it seems.
I would appreciate it if someone has the S- or C-ROM or knows how to unlock the permanently locked slot again. OEM Bootload unlock (via ADB - I needed to confirm the OEM unlocking with the Powerbutton on the phone but it doesnt react) and ReInstalling the Digi-ROM wasnt helpful.
I unlocked mine using the modem of the L5 Plus-rom. The modem goes to emergency mode every few minutes and data isnt working good too (no 3g, even though i fixed the bandmode somehow), but it gives you a little bit connectivity.
Just grab the L5-Rom, mount the system-images of the digicel-l6-rom and the l5 and replace the modem in /etc/firmware with the l5-one.
You can flash the L5-system too (only system, nothing else!, at least NOT the boot.img). But for me it shows a data connection but cant use it..

Nice, as soon I have time, I will give a try on this. :good:

Like said, doesnt work properly. :/ Crashes and disconnect. Well, it´s just my fun-phone to test out some roms and recovs, so it´s not that important.
Ok, since I´ve managed to revive my "playphone", I´ve made a fastboot-flashable nandroid backup. It includes also i.a. a custom recovery from TWRP in an extra-folder.
If someone just need the custom recovery w/o loading the whole ROM, click the 2nd link.

Try:
1. Download AFT Oreo 340 ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/how-to/how-to-asus-flash-tool-aft-t3923941
2. Extract AFT zip
2.5. Go to Fastboot mode.
3. Install using flash_all.bat from computer (don't use Asus Flash Tool). Bootloader will be locked.
4. Update to stock Pie
5. Unlock bootloader. (Optional)

Hello guys.
Recently, my phone's EFS files & IMEI got lost. I managed to "recover" my phone from its unusable state, but my phone refuses to detect the SIM.
My IMEI was 0, but I changed it back to my original IMEI. Yet my SIM still does not work.
The SIM itself works on another phone.
EDIT: It also seems that the SIM is indeed getting detected on my Mi A1, but no mobile network, and messages/calls do not reach me.
For the full story:
I flashed a MIUI 12 GSI (Android 9). Then, wanting to try out an A11 custom ROM, I flashed it, like I usually did.
It took extraordinarily long to load, so I force shut it down (this probably corrupted my EFS and stuff) and from then on no ROMs would work, and TWRP would give me a black screen, and a myriad of other problems
After 2 days of non-stop research, anxiety and magic I managed to "fix" my phone. The SIM was working at some point, but along the process it lost its IMEI, and even though I managed to restore it, the SIM does not get detected at all.
I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks for reading.
