Look up in this section on how folks are going after the Google lock/FRP. There are a number of methods, and FRP is often in the title of the OP post.
eg:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-...-lock-t3347688
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-...ssues-t3379516
https://forum.xda-developers.com/not...erial-t3422965
There are other methods or portions of other methods,as well.

CWM for Note 3 sm-n9005 ?

Hi All
I have rooted my note 3 with odin successfully, I was looking to install CWM but couldn't find the exact TAR file for the n9005 on lollipop 5.0.
I installed ROM manager which suggests there inst currently a compatible CWM I can use, the only device showing is hlte?
Does anyone have a link if one exists..
Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure hlte is supposed to work with N9005, N900A, N900T and N900P as well as N900W8. I think its unified for all snapdragon note 3s
I think your bootloader needs to be unlocked

You cannot / don't have to unlock a Samsung bootloader on SM-N9005. You use ODIN to flash the recovery and you are set. I would suggest this one btw. https://idlekernel.com/twrp/v6.6.5_2016_01_03/
That is incorrect it will fail when attempted
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
It's absolutely correct and the way I did it! SM-N9005 is NO US Verizon crap phone, it's OPEN for ANY modification and just causes KNOX 0x1! IF it's no N9005, then you are absolutley right, there are some variants from ATT and Verizon which are locked and you have to verify that.

Can confirm, Kingo Root does not work

Kingo Root fails on the S7 Edge despite this XDA article: http://www.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7-root/
Ran it several times. No luck.
Edit: I can confirm the IP68 waterproofing. Threw my wife's S7 into her bath with her.

Does Kingo Root not work on all the Galaxy S7 models, Global and carrier variants?
What carrier is this on?
I wonder if the exynos version might work with this method
Dang it
Left my system "Custom"

Ouch... So it mucks up your system partition then leaves you in a custom state with partial. Suck-o-rama
Yep, upon reboot I see a padlock now, and in download mode it shows system as custom.

So, then I take it there is no root for GS7 yet?
No root yet
isnt kingo root riddled with trojans and spyware?
hi,
not working on S7 edge - model: SM-G935F...
by
kikanx
It won't. Rooting needs to happen at the kernel level. You'll have to flash a file through odin once availble. Doing this will trip Knox
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
I've tried multiple root attempts using different method and have yet to find a working one.
Kingo Root developers have said they would attempt rooting the S7 if enough people show interest (you can do this in their app).

Samsung Pay not available in Samsung S7 Edge

Ok, so I have a Galaxy S7 Edge, model G935F and unrooted, and I can't use Samsung Pay on it. It's nowhere in my apps and when I use Google Play on my browser it says it's not available in any of my devices. Does anyone know how can I use it ? Also, I have the latest firmware installed.
All depends on which region you are you using boss. S-Pay is in select countries at the moment, so depending on if you have that region it'll show up on your device. Spain/USA/China/Korea/Singapore/Australia.
Brazil. And yes, it's available here .

Yeah, you need to be running a ROM that supports it. Brazil's ROM does so just flash that one. I believe it's ZTO.
