[Q] Annoying issue : Stuck on grey battery when phone off on non GE/TW rom

Hello all,
I believe that i am not alone who encounter this issue on AOSP rom :
i can not charge my i9505 while it is off.I am stuck on grey battery and i have to pull out the battery to be able to turn on again.
This is not dust or something , it is because of AOSP rom.TW and GE work perfectly.I tried KT ,alucard kernel and other without any result.
If someone know how fix this issue , i need you!!
And please do not tell me to keep the phone awake every day and night!
Thanks in advance!
It's not really an issue. They just haven't coded the animation yet. When you have to code a rom from scratch, charging when it's off is at the bottom of the list. It should still charge though.
i have the same problem.. but only when i use a custom boot.img

[Q] Weird Battery Problem! U8800 Pro

Hi,
The problem is that the phone always stays at 0% charging. The phone immediately shutdown if disconnected from the charger. And, it doesn't boot up without charger. The weirdness is that the TWRP Recovery works just fine even without the charger. I got the battery replaced with a brand new one. So, its clearly not a problem with the battery itself. I am on KitKat 4.4.4 Rom. Should i try to install official rom? Any guess what it could be?
Thanks!
It seems you are on a custom ROM. Have you tried other custom ROM? If other custom ROM loads that means your ROM is too big for your phone, and you need to set your phone to increase the ROM space for ROM

com.android.systemui causing battery drain

Hi,
I'm starting this thread because I experience a battery drain and it doesn't make sense.
I was on different cm11 rom and at one point I start to have a high percentage of battery used by com.android.systemui.
Since then it's always there even after a full wipe, wipe the caches, changing the rom or the kernel.
It's frustrating so I'm hoping that someone can help me.

I hope that I can help with this result. yesterday night, I installed TWRP recovery instead of Philz and reflash the rom.
I solved my problem because com.android.systemui is back to a normal use and the battery didn't lose any percentage over the night.

Lineageos 15.1 Phone doesn't charge and overheats.

I have lenovo K6 Power and installed Lineageos 15.1 but I have some problems. I don't care for the other but the thing that I left it overnight (10hours) charging with airplane mode(as I can't turn it off while charging, another problem) and from 30% went to 80% and overheated(48°C on battery and 72°on CPU) gets me worried. Any ideas guys? Also I didn't backup my stock ROM(I know I am stupid). How can I install stock ROM back if all else fails?

Help!! as I resolve this message that I get in the TWRP and my A1?

Hello friends, I hope and can support me to tell me how to solve my problem in my A1, it turns out that install a ROM GSI Android 9 of which came out first, the problem is that I drained quite the battery that very forces came to 2 hours screen , from there I decided to change ROM but all I continue to drain the battery in standby mode, when I use the battery behaves well but in standby mode is drained in the same way as if it was using and that happens to me in all the ROMs, Already install the stock rom from Miflash, and install all the custom ROMs that are in the group and none solves the problem of the battery, and something that I notice since this happens to me the battery, is that message that appears in the TWRP (as shown in the image that attach) each Time I flash something, does not appear when I have the phone charging, please friends help me solve this problem would greatly appreciate.
What rom are you trying to flash? Its a treble one or non treble? If its treble you need to make it first before flashing the rom
