Since new update with October security patch (Spanish Stock Rom), i can unlock my S8 with Ok Google command without iris and fingerprint, and everyone who is not me and tried it can unlock it too.
I think it could be a big Samsung fail

for all who updated to Android 6.0.1 with an pushed OTA Update. There is currently no way to downgrade and bypass frp lock
If you upgrade without unlocked bootloader, your device will be FRP locked. The not visible OEM-Unlock option is some kind of bug. without it you´re not able to unlock the bootloader and rollback.
You have to wait for a new update or an official rollback file from moto
A week ago I bought a used s7 edge. The original owner had done a factory reset. My first thing was to flash the latest local stock rom, bootloader, and modem. Then I installed TWRP and then rooted. All great. After a few days, I got tempted by the new Nougat betas.
OK, so now I've got a huge mess. I updated to the Minotaur 7.0 beta (nice rom) and got it nicely set up. I'm quite sure that I enabled OEM Updates in Developer Options. I was trying a manual setup of the APN and it wasn't working. So I thought a reboot might solve it. When I rebooted, I got a black screen with a little red message at the top - Custom binary blocked by FRP lock.
So I have spent the afternoon on the Internet only to learn that Google and Samsung created that lock so that stolen phones cannot be easily put into service. If OEM updates are checked, that disables the lock. I don't know what happened but I have a phone with a black screen that won't boot. It will go into download mode so I will try to flash a stock rom.
OK, that worked. I lost 2 days set up but the rom is booting.

Hi.
Download the official firmware for your S7 and flash it with Odin. That should solve the problem.

Yes it did! I was very worried that the stock rom was MM and so I was going backward. But it worked! And now I am all set up again. Just wish I knew what triggered that so I could avoid it in the future....

Did you tilt the option about OEM unlock in develop settings? Also try to flash without setting any PIN or fingerprint in the official rom

For some reason, Samsung has started to lock the bootloaders with the updates for 2017 A-series. Same for A520.
hello,
how to root an S8 G950F with android 9 (German official version G950FXXU4DSBA) and security patch of February 1, 2019, whose security activated by mistake when installing TWRP and restart the phone, now if I try to flash with odin the TWRP tells me that you can only flash samsung official software. Is there any way to disable this indicator that my phone is rooted, even if it is not? currently does not open samsung pay, samsung healt and samsung pass. or there is some method of rooting with ADB or other software, which can bypass the security protection.
Thank you for your attention.
hi,
I have a UK Moto G4 XT1622 on which I had unlocked the bootloader, rooted, and installed a fine Resurection Remix rom.
I have decided to sell and wanted to get rid of the annoying Motorola Nag screen about it being unlocked and not trusted (with a reboot in 5 secs )
I used the method from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...ucsessfull-ota-update-rooting-t3472658/page12
the procedure went well, installed a stock Android 6 ... but the nag screen persists!
I have posted here because there has been no activity on that thread since March 2018.
am I correct in doing so, and does anyone have any other suggestions to rid me of the nag screen?
any help would really be a appreciated
