Maybe it is not the right place for my question ... I have a Moto g4 play and I try to update it with Nougat OTA that I found on this website and now I can not make or receive calls but I have data and text messages. Can you help me?

hey guys,
there is something on my flipout or on android phones which is making me upset.
if i have a call with somebody and i receive a sms at the same time i get this call waiting (german: "anklopfen") signal. its okay when soembody is calling me but i dont want it when a sms arrives.
has someone a solution?

From i got my new dash 36 i am not able to send nor receive any text messages and its really getting me crazy....
Everyting else work on d phone except dat i cant send nor receive any text message.... Can some1 provide some assistance ASAP.....

to fix the problem of sending messages, you need to install the SMS patch

I have been unable to send or receive MMS using Textra or Messenger. I restored a month old Nandroid backup and the ability to send and receive MMS using those apps was restored. I then updated Google Voice to the latest version (v5.01 from 4.7). Bam!!! Lost the ability to send and receive MMS from Textra or Messenger. I use Google Voice for work and my regular number for family and friends. I am on model XT1644 US variant Marshmallow build 139.64. The odd thing is that when I restored the backup again with

lol You are right. I thought I finished it.
It turns out Google Voice was not responsible for me being unable to send and recieve MMS. Was trying to save people some headaches. It turns out it was AdBlocker Plus causing my problem. I did the same test on stock MM and Resurrection Remix MM. I sent texted a photo to my wife's phone and from my wifes phone without ABP. I then reinstalled ABP and attempted to text a photo to my wife's phone and was unable to. I also did not receive the text I tried to send from my wife's phone to mine. ABP did not affect my ability to send and receive MMS using Google Voice or Allo. I just wanted to share this in case anyone else had this problem or to prevent others from experiencing it.

My ZTE Zpad K90U is not receiving messages
I just bought this device and I couldnt receive sms messages. the data sim has a phone number tied to it and it has texting capability. the tablet is the one that cannot receive it The tablet device didnt come with a stock messaging app, only hangouts out of box. I tried both Hangouts in SMS mode & Google Messenger. Why is this happening? Is there anyway I can get it to work?
