Just got my p10 plus from Rogers and want to rebrand and update to Oreo beta can anybody help? It's the vky-l09 model can anybody point me to a good guide to start with?

Finally got Beta + Huawei Mobile Services installed. But there are no projects available.
Yeah I tried the beta app too but I think you need to rebrand to a region that is getting the update I'm just not sure what region to rebrand to to get the uodate.

Anybody know what model I can rebrand the vky-l09 to? There's sosny firmwares I'm not sure which is comparable with this. New to these units came from Sony very different how you mod these ones. And if I root can I backup OEM info and save it to restore later?

I'm using it no problem. I had to unroot, relock boot loader (it's status is locked not relocked) to get it going. This is on a L29C432B180 device. The EMUI 4.1 beta's do not work with Android Pay, at least they didn't when I tried about 6 weeks ago.

I'm in Germany, so no Android Pay at all...
Working in the UK on an NXT-L09C636 B170.
Originally it didn't work when Android Pay launched, wouldn't let me add my card. It started working after a few weeks
Ah so that's why it doesn't work on my unrooted stock 4.1EMUI. I was going crazy wondering why I got the "can't be used" error as my phone was never rooted. Sucks. Does this mean I have to downgrade to B180? I wonder what new features would I lose?

I think because B320 and B321 are beta roms, Android Pay will not work. Google have been trying hard to figure out why AP will not work on my stock unrooted rom. Maybe they only work on officially released roms such as B200.

Hey thanks buddy! Updating to B200 now...
Good day my phone was a L23 single and i debranded and made it a dual SIM L31. Now when i try to update to nougat everything goes smoothly but my camera fails to open. Could debranding and flashing a new OEM info. cause that to happen.
Any suggestions

Well.....why you didn't wait for OTA?
Anyway, find the OEMINFO on one of my posts and flash it, then get the MM B161 and flash it via DLOAD

The latest Vodafone firmware is B329. Which firmware did you install?

When you chose the firmware, verify the cust and check firmware with IMEI

My device has already been updated to Nougat a while back, thanks. Just needed to clarify that B329 was the latest firmware currently available for Vodafone. :good:
Secondly, in the video, it shows that you need to enable "Show packages for current region", but this will most likely result in the full update NOT being installed correctly. That option needs to be disabled so that you do not end up with your version as NRD90M.
Have new device and im not sure what firmware would be comparable with this unit. I'm in Canada with Rogers 64gb ufs 2.1 and 4 gig ram. I see so many different firmwares but no idea what one I can use. Can anybody help? So confusing lol
