there is a root method for ZE550KL W/ MARSH.?

AS TITLE
Install all adb drivers properly on your PC.
If you're on Marshmallow, this might help you to unlock your bootloader https://www.asus.com/zentalk/in/thread-116376-1-1.html it's a simple APK you can install on your phone.
Connect your phone to PC and reach it with adb.
Go into fastboot mode (adb reboot bootloader) and type from your cmd "fastboot oem device-info" i think is still a must to check if it worked properly.
If you're sure it's unlocked now, then flash root .zip file with TWRP, I did not flash TWRP on my ze500kl, so I think on ze550kl you can try to boot TWRP rather than flashing it as well (fastboot boot TWRPname.img), try to boot TWRP, because if you flash it there are chances to brick your phone (for example if TWRP isn't right for it), but if you try to just boot it i don't think you can damage your rom.
If you flash a root .zip file, make sure you made a full nandroid backup with twrp first, or at least to have an uninstaller .zip for it as well.. I recommend you to make a stock nandroid backup anyway before any kind of modding (espacially FLASHING).
I personally use Magisk superuser (https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445).
I don't own a ze550kl, i own a ze500kl and this method perfectly works for me. As long as you can unlock your bootloader, i think you can flash the root without problems if you manage to boot into the proper TWRP version for ze550kl.

1) recover from Android
2) flash an earlier update file if you can
3) restore the original system chunks through ADB or fastboot
Or
4) restore the entire stock firmware with ADB/Fastboot
thank bro

i want firmware.35 flash for TWRP or backup file. Do you have?
35 files are here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/how-to/npn25-137-33-stock-firmware-t3577081
Keep in mind that a full restore will start you over from scratch. Remember to back up important things to an SD card or computer.

Asus ZenFone 3 Max data recovery from backup

So, I have a Asus ZenFone 3 Max WW-firmware, android 7. A few months ago the motherboard broke down, without any apparent reason, so i managed to pull a backup to my sdcard from stock recovery mode. Sent the phone to repair, tried to restore backup, didn't work (successful decryption, corrupted data).
Now, I rooted my phone, with the Magisk method, installed the patched boot in the bootloader, restored the backup. I ran the system check from the default recovery, which told me that some system files are corrupted or missing. So i supposed that the data (pictures) i want to retrieve are there, and then installed the twrp in the bootloader (ADB won't let me install it in the recovery partition, which is locked and not unlockable).
I already tried adb commands, phone is not recognized in adb, i can run the sideload mode, but it returns "error:closed", when i boot into fastboot i can only put another bootloader. Device is recognized in fastboot and sideload modes.
I have no idea of the decryption password, probably i had a fingerprint unlock at the moment, for sure no "regular password".
Any suggestion on how to recover these pics? Maybe also unpack the .backup files from pc
Thanks in advance!

Extract image files without rooting or unlocking the bootloader?

Before I get started on messing around with my OP7TProME, I'd like to extract my image files (boot, persist, reserve, recovery, etc.) for backup. I've been doing a lot of reading and it appears that the reserve.img file and the data partition will be wiped if I unlock the bootloader. However unlocking the bootloader is a required step to be able to extract the image files either with payload dumper, with adb shell (as root is required to access those areas of the storage, and I think root requires TWRP+Magisk), or with TWRP terminal (cannot even boot to TWRP without unlocking the BL because "boot is not allowed in Lock State").
Is there a way to extract the phone's image files without actually changing the phone? I need a way to get back to how it is right now in case I make a mistake/something breaks.

Yes, by using the MSM tool when putting the phone in EDL mode. You can find detailed instructions on the first page of most of the custom ROM threads in our subforum.

Do I need to backup persist.img?

Hi. My phone says: <<Your device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot>>, bootloader is locked, I can access only fastboot and EDL. So, I'm going to use MSM tool to unbrick my phone, if I'm not going to switch, for example - from IN version to NA, do I need to backup persist.img? The problem is - I don't know how to backup it, when I even can't reach recovery, my device isn't rooted and I can go only to fastboot and EDL. Sorry for my English.
