Can samone suggest a way to force LG launcher to landscape mode?
Did you found a solution? I wish to do that too.

I'm looking for an app that will trick the orientation sensor into thinking the phone is in landscape mode. The only thing that kinda works is ADW launcher I can force the home screen and app drawer in landscape but thats it.
Does anyone have any advice? Devs would you make this app?

Don't know if it's what you're looking for , but if your phone is rooted, you can check out shake and rotate in. the market. It's free.
Is this possible? I hate having to keep my phone held upright while on my homescreen, is there anyway to let the phone automatically go into landscape mode when you turn it and hold it as if the gamepad is out? Yes i know there are other programs you can get to change your homescreen which allow this but i don't really want to do that. Help.
Update:
I noticed today on IGN they were doing a preview on the Play and the phone he was using supported landscape mode on the home screen. How is this possible? Is it because it's a new version of the software on the American phones?

The ericsson launcher dosent support landscape, generally only devices with a h/w keyboard have stock launchers that support landscape

you can use launcher pro for auto landscape mode and freeze timescape with titanium backup , launcher pro very fast compare to timescape don't forget chek case 3D drawer on launcher pro for optimal performance

Hi All! I'm trying to get as close to full tablet UI without changing the DPI. Just wondering if anyone knows a launcher replacement that runs in tablet mode and not in phone mode? I'm trying to combine it with the tablet bar in the EOS rom. Apex Launcher works but is buggy - apps grid only takes up half the screen and no icon labels show.

Whether I use Holo Launcher Pro or Apex Launcher, the homescreen in fine in portrait mode. When I tilt the phone into landscape mode on the homescreen, the homescreens on the left partially show.
In other words, I can see partial widgets from second homescreens on the left and right of the main screen in landscape mode. I hope this makes sense.
Anyway, I was hoping to know if anyone else was experiencing this, or if it can be corrected. I messed around with rows and columns but I just can't get it correct. Are these apps needing updates for the new size or do I have some type of setting wrong on the S4?
Any help is appreciated.

At least is there any app to do force landscape mode?
I've been looking for similar modules/applications, but I've given up.

Nova launcher has an option to do that in settings -> Look and Feel

This works great. just works in general, like for EVERYTHING!!! Its a life saver, cuz my phone has a dead spot; now i can just rotate it in anyway!

Set Orientation is a free app from Play store which works perfectly on the LG G2 D802. In can rotate the screen in any of the 4 orientations even the homescreen. 5 stars app.
