When I try to make a call to a number or contact simply the call is terminated, I can not receive calls either. Could someone help me with this problem? I have no problems with text messages or data.

Tracfone. I have discovered that what happens with my cell phone is because of the attempt to install the OTA rom for Moto G4 play (xt1607).

HELP!!! I just cant get my xdaII to make or receive calls but the TXT messages work fine. I wondered if it was some kind of lock the imei number NOT blocked the sim NOT locked. Anyone any ideas?????? PLease some one?
Hey. MY sister's Xperia X1 is not receiving messages. She receives calls and she can call and send messages, but when I sent her several messages from my Diamond and my mother from her cell phone she didn't receive them.
Has this problem ever been encountered by any of you? If so, any idea how I can repair it?

Hi All, I am having problem of SMS missed call alert, in my windows mobile phone (HD2), when i received a call while there is no signal of phone, I will get a missed call SMS alert when the phone is back into signal, this doesn't happen in I9000, I know this might be network related, but I am using the same Sim card and I couldn't find anywhere to enable this function.
Do you all have SMS alert telling you your missed call? Or is this an issue of I9000 or even Android?
p.s. It's been a long time since my last post, nice to see you all here!

Pretty sure that's a service provider feature and nothing to do with the phone.
that's what I thought, but I use the same sim card, and it was working fine on my HD2 before, do yours give you sms alert?
I have a Rogers xperia play (North American) which is unlocked with a generic ROM also rooted, Trying to use it overseas in Asia.
It is asking for a password for incoming calls, caller hears the number as busy. When I go enable incoming calls, again wants a pass code.
Any ideas?

Try being a little more patient than 12 minutes to bump your thread... (I don't know anything about your problem though, just advice)
update:
- I can do outgoing calls but I am unable to receive calls
- Phone is confirmed unlocked
- I have tried software reset, GSM only network mode etc.
Try using your original sim card to see if its still doing it

I have a problem with my Huawei p9 lite with EliteTWRP and Validus ROM.
My EMEI is correct.
When I try to call someone with the phone the call instantly ends with "call ended".
The SIM works fine on other devices, on my device SMS and Mobile Data works too, but no calls.
The call still gets through and when the other person accepts the call it's just an empty call.
On the carrier list after "search carriers" it only shows other carriers, not mine, but it still shows my carrier as
the registered carrier somehow. I tried restarting, removing and putting in the SIM and other phone apps.
When the other person has answered the call and is speaking I can sometimes hear a short fractal of a second long
the other persons voice before it then ends.
What could the problem be?
I have the exact same problem and can't find a solution
