[Help] Huawei nova CAN-L01 - Huawei Nova/Nova Plus Questions & Answers

Hello everybody.
I come to you for help please and thank you in advance for any help you may have.
I have a Huawei nova and I made a big ball on it I install twrp I unlock the bootloader I always acce the two but on twrp I made the wrong manipulation to remove all the installation of the phone I try to put a custom roms and it marks me.
Failed to dismount '/ system' (Invalid argument).
If you can help me because I'm no longer in the phone at the moment and it annoys me because I have an 11 year old girl who calls me every day on it.
I thank you again in advance.

Hi there!
I'm sorry for the late reply.
1) Which TWRP are you using? I suggest you this TWRP.
2) What do you mean by "wrong manipulation"? What exactly you've done?
If you wanna go back to EMUI, check this post. If you want to get back to EMUI 5, you must follow the steps from "Go back to EMUI 4.1" and then "Now update to EMUI 5".

Someone can help me to frp bypass on Huawei Can-L01??
pleasee

P9 lite

Hello .. Good evening!
First of all, a merry Christmas to all, as a frequent follower of your activity, I decided to contact to see if I can get extra help in this small big problem.
In the wanderings of the android, last week I dedicated myself to route my P9 lite, it went well, until I tried to flash the leak of android 7 to my phone, as expected it went bad, so I can not get past the initialization until the The problem is not there, it's because I can not flash again because the bootloader has closed again or through the command line, since I can not start the bootloader Phone to authorize USB debug at this time is serving Pisa papers, any tips? I've tried everything, but no positive results!
Best regards,
Ricardo
You must unlock it again, and flash the stock recovery of NOUGAT and use the 3 buttons method

Upgrade ALE-L21FRAC530B181

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to updgrade my P8 from emui 3.1.1 to at least 4.0,
I'd like to finally get Marshamallow ?
Did you figure it out ? I'm not comfortable rooting etc without being sure !!
Thanks in advance !!
Assuming you have the ALE-L21
Download the over for your device:
Single SIM: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1084/g104/v88493/f1/full/update.zip
Dual SIM: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1084/g104/v88317/f1/full/update.zip
- Extract the UPDATE.APP somewhere.
- Inside the root of your SD card create a folder named "dload" (obviously without the quotes) and put the UPDATE.APP file there.
- Go to Settings > Software upgrade. Tap the menu button, select Local Update and click the UPDATE.APP shown.
A reboot prompt will come up, I trust you know what to do

Hi,
thanks for the info but I got the error message "Software install failed".
I already tried with a few downloads from the official website.
Seems like nothing is working.
I've read somewhere that the B181 is harder to update..
you must change vendor/country first with Huawei Multi tool

Yeah, you need to change vendor to europe.
Get the tool from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923
And follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyRCqO8BPgs (but choose the stuff needed. The device is p8 lite and europe region (hw/eu)
then update will work.
The thing is that it needs unlocked bootloader and stuff, it seems. Maybe you're stuck if you don't want to tinker
You can do it without ROOT with the TWRP method. Search the forums for unlock bootloader and TWRP
UPDATE; Get the latest full from here: http://hwmt.ru/hwmtsite/firmware-database/?firmware_model=ALE-l21fra&firmware_page=0 and then do the OTAs
Hey thank you so much, I'm gonna try this as soon as I can.
I gotta admit I was beginning to let go --'.
If it's not Marshmallow the only other way is to install TWRP. Honestly there are no real dangers to it if you know what you're doing.
Well that's the thing I don't know anything about Android ? . I have to take some time to really get into it
You don't need to actually understand the internals, it's not like you're developing for it. Just look online for articles and esoecially on XDA. Basic terms like rooting and the partitions of an android device e.t.c. The basis of tinkering is flashing zips and images in TWRP and knowing how to recover with a backup. Goodl luck

I'm having this issue(PFA). Any solutions ?
Mine is almost similar problem too, only i get the error failed to mount /system
Same issue here. Please let me know if you find the answer.
Yes same issue here!
did someone find a solution?
Have you tried Factory resetting? or even installing a custom rom?
I see you dont have a custom recovery installed so I'm guessing you're trying to install a STOCK rom?
If not flash a custom rom with custom recovery and see if it helps.

[OTA Update] [Oreo] Galaxy S7 Active Update to Android Oreo Guide

This Guide is one i wrote in a reply on another forum, I thought more people would see it if i posted it here as well. As usual, if you brick your phone while following this guide, it is your problem, and i take no repsonsibility for any bricked S7 Actives due to this guide. Its not likely, but in the event that it occurs, understand that it's your problem.
There is no s7 active oreo rom in ODIN flashable format available yet, but you can update by flashing nougat, and flashing two ota flashable zip files in stock recovery. If you go to this website, and click the blue download button, you can extract the downloaded file with 7zip, or winrar, and flash the md5 files in ODIN, and you will then be on stock android nougat. You can then copy this zip file to your phone's external micro sd card, without extracting it, and use stock recovery mode (turn off, then volume up + home + power) to "apply update from sd card", or if you don't have a micro sd card, click "apply update from adb" and look up "how to use adb sideload" on google. Once it's done updating, do the same thing with this zip file, using stock recovery and "apply update from sd card" or using "apply update from ADB", and you will be on android 8.0 oreo. you can always use the first file you downloaded to go back to stock nougat if you don't like oreo, but it's working great for me! Enjoy android Oreo on your S7 Active, hopefully we will see a root soon, as the nougat root just bricks my phone while it is on oreo. I do not recommend using a newer oreo OTA zip instead of the one i posted, as some of the other ones flash a newer bootloader, thus preventing a downgrade back to nougat in the event something catastrophic happens.
Reply and let me know if this worked for you, or if it didn't, tell me where the process failed.

Yay! Had trouble with the download stopping and varying speed download (mostly slow) but now that I've got it all went as normal.
Did seem to take a little longer than normal on the factory recovery updates but no problems to report there.
Up and running now but I've yet to play with it more than opening a few apps and testing features.
Now we need an unlocked bootloader!!! I miss having custom ROMs, debloat, and a real firewall...
Maybe someday. Maybe.

I don't know what Jacob says about your doubt, but probably you can downgrade the build to the BQD4 and then install the updates until the BRB5. I did something similar, I downgrade the build BQF2 to BQD4 and then I installed the updates (the last was the build BRB5) to be able to install android oreo (build CRC7).

Hi Jacob, I have a doubt, do you have any problem with the HRM sensor? I can't use it. I could use it with nougat but with oreo it doesn't work (even if I test it in the *#0*# the sensor doesn't work). Thank you!!
Bro, I’m sorry, I can’t help, I accidentally bricked my s7 active last month, and it was hard bricked, I accidentally flashed the wrong boot loader, so I had to return it and I know how people feel about this, but there was a great deal on an iPhone 6s :/

Haha. I'm thinking about getting a 6S as well. How's the standby battery life compared to the S7 Active?
Yeah, I can make it last a day, I got mine used, so my battery has 85% of its original health, I would think one with a newer battery in it would last longer, especially since this one lasts the whole day.... if you find one cheap, I recommend, but only the 6s/6s plus, not the 6/6 plus
Thanks, works great
Thanks so much, I was able to update my phone that has been off of any network for over a year. I update my S7 Active from BQH1 all the way through to CRD4, took a while having to manually update each OTA file. 6 updates later and I am running Android 8, so far no issues, no sim atm so can not tell if all functions are good, but seems to be so. Been 24 hours since and have not had a single issue. Even got it network unlocked and am running a T-Mobile sim, works like a charm.

Trying to flash SM-G891A_G891AUCS2BRA7_USA_ATT_v7.0, but I keep getting a "md5 error! Binary is invalid" when trying to load the AP file in Odin3 v3.13. Is this legit?
what build are you on currently?

I am currently having this issue trying to update from S3BRD1 to U3CRE7. I was running CRD4 but downgraded so I could go up to CRE build, but no luck. Were you able to figure out what is causing this issue?

I gave up on trying to apply the CRE7 update and went ahead and settled with the CRE5 and it loaded just fine. Might have been a corrupt file, downloaded it 3 times. :silly:

Just a thought, they recently uploaded a stock U3BRD1, which brings the bootloader to the newest (no root possible), then just OTA update from there.
Successfully flashed CRC7 on my S7 Active (I'm in Canada and can't get OTA updates).
However my Samsung Pay can no longer register my Canadian credit cards (it was working fine on Nougat build BRB5). Anyone in a similar situation?
Peace

[SOLVED] Bricked my Honor 7x (Read if you want to though)

FIXED!!!
Hello, I am a student needing help desperately for my Honor 7x.
It's sort of bricked, I do not think it is TOO severe.
So, I took the latest OTA from here, downloaded update.zip, the first one. http://pro-teammt.ru
I have no idea how any of this works.
I downloaded this one: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G2649/g1699/v133897/f2/full/update.zip
It is the only one I downloaded, seeing the large file size, I think it is the only one I should need? I don't know, I'm a noob at this kind of stuff :/
I still have "FRP unlock" and "Phone unlocked" in the bootloader page.
I have flashed the SYSTEM.IMG file from the update.zip from above ^
I also flashed to recovery this, "fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img"
(Before flashing the RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img file, I just did the "RAMDISK.img" file.)
I have no idea if that was the right one, it just seemed like it because of the file name.
I will be happy to provide more information if asked for, thanks!
Hold up, right as I was typing this post, I was messing around with my phone, and I managed to boot up EMUI 8!!!!!
YESSSS!!!
If anyone wants the information, I can make a guide for it!
Just ask!
Yes, that would be awesome! Recently bricked my phone, had it replaced. Scared of experimenting now without proper knowledge.
