Hai. I read reviews said Nexus 6p has lte-a. But I only got lte full bar. I thought the problem is the telco provider. but when I changed my sim to my wife phone (samsung s6), it has lte-a. Btw I'm using 8.1 and rooted. Is there anyways to make it connected to lte-a?
Sorry english is not my 1st language. Hope you understand. Thanks for any advice.
What kind of speeds where you getting on the 6p?
Vanilla android desn't display LTE+ icon. Same goes to HSPA+

20-50Mbps. But when using Samsung S6, I got 100-150Mbps.

I'm not sure. But speed is significantly different when using other phone.
Make sure, that APN are exactly the same like in a phone, that for sure connects to LTE+
Install LTE discovery app and check if LTE band agregation is working

is it possible to change the antenna on the sgs3 to make it compatible with tmo's lte?
Are the antenas in the back coverpiece? If so, I'd imagine it's possible.
Pretty sure it has more to do with what bandwidth the radio chip will support. TMO decided to go with an LTE deployment that the S3 can't/won't broadcast & receive on.

i got 2 questions...
1 - do you think that you can change the antenna on the s3 for tmo's LTE compatibility?
2 - do you think that samsung will sell nother version of the s3 to make it compatible for tmo's LTE?

haha they say there are no dumb questions but...
The AT&T version has support for LTE in the AWS band, technically making it compatible with T-Mobile's future LTE. However, AWS HSPA+ support is either disabled or impossible, so you'd be stuck on 2G for the time being, except in the areas where PCS refarming has already begun. I'm also not sure that the LTE radio is unlocked for anything but AT&T, even with another SIM, but who knows.

I have the international version of the s4 on Tmobile USA network. I'm having issues with getting 3g/4g/H+ connection. Majority if the time is staying on edge, I've called tmobile and they've helped little, made a few adjustments but still mainly getting edge. Just seeing if anyone is encountering the same thing and found a solution.

I doubt that i9500 will support 4G but 3g should work may be some APN / Area issue

Yeah first international, got it as a gift or otherwise I would have gotten the carrier branded. They had me changed it to WCMDA, and changed the apn name to fast.t-mobile.com That actually got me some H+ and 3G connection momentarily then went right back to edge.

Oh....all international phones not compatibly with t-mobile 4G bandage. I remember I started seeing first "3G" in the end of 2012. I shocked I got H+ most of the time with GS4 ! (example check my screenshot. This is now in Jersey City)
Also international phones got stable "3G" everywhere on AT&T.
And BTW thank you very much for this "They had me changed it to WCMDA, and changed the apn name to fast.t-mobile.com That actually got me some H+ and 3G connection momentarily then went right back to edge." I will try.
Regards.
I'd just sell the international and buy the t mobile version. Make your life easier.

No. I don't need Snapdragon even for free.
I got my phone more than a month ago. It's soon the time to sell this phone...(Note3 coming out)
...example my Note3 will be on sale already when it will "just arrived" to usa networks.
+International phones got biggest development.

Yeah I just put it on Craigslist seeing if someone is interested in a trade for a carrier brand. I love this version and all but it's 2013 I need network speed. I just can't believe with all this technology they can't make a international phone that supports worldwide bands. I was asking on here if there was a way to root it and flash the Tmobile bands or another route other than trading out for a carrier branded model.

unfortunately it comes down to the hardware, and long story short, the I9500 does not have 1700mhz band. www.airportal.de let's you see where t mobile is "refarming" the 1900mhz band which will work with your phone.
sorry dude, and I'm sorry too because I play 3d games and the I9500 has a smoother and faster gpu :crying:

I decided to order the Chinese TL10 version of the phone and im only able to get 3g HSPA on the t-mobile network. One thing i must say though is that even though it says HSPA, i am still getting 4G comparable speeds when im using it and it hasnt disappointed in connectivity. This phone is freakn fast so im anxious to see how much faster it'll get on 4G. Can you guys point me in the right direction?
If you are based in USA, specially T-Mobile use FDD B4, aka AWS, and the Chinese version does not support it.
Good news you receive HSPA+.
thank you for sharing this information

Even though the Ascend Mate 7 is available primarily outside of North America, this unit was still able to connect to LTE networks on T-Mobile and AT&T. It does struggle with maintaining the connection from time to time, but the mobile network experience has been reliable for the most part. Call quality is also good, with calls coming in quite clear at both ends of the line.

Once we have the international version rom for the TL10, we should be able to flash it and open up all the other bands in the radio, that are enabled in the tl09
Not really related to this phone but is it possible by any means to enable WCDMA frequencies in TDCdma phone? Thanks in advance.

The Chinese MT7-TL10 comes with both WCDMA and TD-CDMA. For some models that come with TD-CDMA only, there is no way to have CDMA, for instance, P7-L05.

Buddy, LTE and 4G is the same! 4th generation mobile network. If you've rooted your phone it's easy, just install gravity box and switch to LTE icon, done. It's just the icon, if it shows 4G your're connected to a LTE network!
Comprehensive list of ROMs for N910C?
Does anyone know of a site or thread that lists all of the available ROMs for the SM-N910C? The Phone INFO Samsung app shows it has a UAE ROM, but the default language on first boot is UK English. I'm having the same weird issues with the connectivity icon, and it would be nice to try some different regional firmwares.
I just bought this G975F/DS, seems to work just fine, but when I install my Tmobile SIM in the phone it doesn't connect to any networks. Are there settings I need to add/change? Anything?

Check to see which bands are used in your area. If they primarily use band 71 then your SOL because that model doesn't support it.

When I inserted my T-Mobile SIM in the US unlocked S10+ for some reason the T-Mobile APN settings didn't autopopulate and I had to enter them manually.
Definitely look at your APN settings.
Well, it finally connected to Tmo but the reception isn't very good. My S7 and S5 pick up much better. Not that happy with it

Use an app like Cellular-Z to see what band each device is using. If the S7/S5 is using band 71 then you wont be able to get as good of coverage on the S10 because the international version doesn't support it.

Did you actually check the APN settings on your S10+? If they are incorrect that would account for your poor reception.
It depends on where you live obviously but my phone never uses band 71 which I think is primarily for rural areas.
I've owned multiple unlocked phones that didn't support band 71 and have never had weak reception on T-Mobile anywhere I've gone.
I have the dual sim with T-Mobile and I actually didn't have to do anything. It worked out of the box.

I haven't needed to manually enter APN settings on a phone in at least 5 years and I've owned a bunch of phones but for whatever reason the T-Mobile APN settings did not autopopulate on mine.
I have a single sim Snapdragon model--whether the T-Mobile settings autopopulate correctly might differ depending on the S10+ model and specific firmware the phone is running but it didn't seem like the OP actually checked his APN settings. I initially had a poor network connection because the settings on mine were not correct.
My reception was excellent after I manually entered the correct APN values and rebooted.
F models cannot do the proper Carrier Aggregation that TMO (and maybe ATT) uses to give their highest speeds and best signals.
While the Exynos models will work, if you have a USA based phone in the same spot you will find the speeds are much faster on the USA based phone than the Exy versions.
As of now, there is no way around this, people have been trying for years.
