Statement post. Not a question.
I have seen many famous Roms on this site showing older 5.0.2 history versions on google, but when
I follow those links, they redirect to the updated 5.1.1 versions.
Please post and Sticky any 5.0.2 ROMS for S6 Edge below. (There are people who still need them..)
I can not find any working download links. My Japan Softbank carrier did not update to 5.1.1.
I need 5.0.2 Roms please. I see history of them on google. I can find no such working download links.
Thank you.
My phone model is sm g925z. I would be willing to test any phone version, of 5.0.2
I Found CarHD 5.0.2 digging on google. for anyone else who may need it.
I will test it now and report on the status after.
https://meocloud.pt/link/338ef8e8-be07-48e2-a8ef-eb904342b631/CarHDRom_V.3.3_G920_OF4.zip
SimpleRom 5.0.2 link
Testing now also.
https://mega.nz/#F!CYFX1TZQ!Sa10c0z-6R4a8uTsi9CWGA
both failed to connect to wifi or cell service.
both were full of crashes.
do not bother trying.
I tried a third 5.0.2 Rom. a sm g925i model, it could connect to wifi only.
but it would crash when trying to connect to the phone app.
if I can get anything working with the new rom, I will post links if I get anything working.
probably the junk will not work.
Thread close.
Please do not post dupliocate threads for the same problem.

Hello all,
this is my first post on XDA so I hope I am doing everything according to the rules. If I do something wrong, apologies and I will do better next time.
So, I recently purchased a Zenfone 3 MAX in the US in a hurry out of necessity. So I was quite annoyed to find out that ASUS has hidden the ability to format the SD card as internal memory. However I found out there is a way to un-hide the feature via adb. But the procedure I found is tested to work with Marshmallow, and I had already updated the phone to Nougat. Indeed, the adb command has had no effect on my phone.
So, now I am trying to downgrade back to Marshmallow. I am definitely a newbie to this world, but I have been able to find this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/help/how-to-downgrade-zenfone-3-nougat-to-t3573241) thread, which contains a link to a downgrading procedure (https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-164531-1-3.html). However, it is not for ZC520TL but for ZE520KL.
I was hoping I could use the same procedure for my phone, if I find the right firmware, but I am not sure I have been looking in the right places. The ASUS website has various firmware versions for the US and I assume the oldest one is Marshmallow (Version US-13.1.4.43), but the procedure above requires two different firmware files and I do not know enough to understand what is the difference and where I can find them.
Anyone can shed some light on this for me?
Thank you

Ask for it. A user in Canada obtained the downgrade. Please write in this thread and share it.

Thanks for your reply.
I have looked at the thread you linked, but I could not see any reference to someone successfully getting their phone downgraded to M by Asus. If anything some people in there stress how unhelpful is Asus with the whole thing. So I am not any closer to the solution than I was before.

Thanks for the link. I have looked around and found a firmware for the ZC520TL. However I am not sure it is the right one for me because it is my understanding that I need a firmware whose name starts with UL, rather than WW. I am not sure what would happen if I used firmware of a different zone. Moreover, I have been able to recover the right firmware from the ASUS website. What I need is the "RAW firmware" as defined in the procedure I have linked in my original post. But I don't know how that is different from the firmware. As I said, I am very new to this world.

WW stands for global firmware, however I am not sure what UL is for. You can contact the person in that website asking for your firmware. They will help.
So I wanted to discuss this with you guys, if you've been flashing phones for a while you've probably seen this error once or twice or maybe a 100 times
I guess this thread is a bit missplaced but seeing as there is no TWRP forum I guess I have to post it here
So what I want to do here is to discuss error 7 and se if there's any way to get around it
For example right now I have a Galaxy S5 Verizon (SM-G900V) which i cant install official lineage build on because of error 7 even though this model is officially supported by LOS and I'm sure that im not the only one having this problem
I have tried this 'solution' on several phones but I have never gotten it to work, it always leads to some other errors
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
So yeah I wanna hear what you guys have to say, have you ever encountered it? Have you ever gotten around it? Why is there no way to just force install an update seeing as the end responsibility is on the user anyways?

Hello....!
I am sorry for my bad English skills
I am using Samsung Note 4 Sprint Android 6.0.1.
It's very bad and doesn't have a fingerprint. I need to go back to an earlier version.
I've used "Odin" and "Z3X SamsungTool, COMBINATION". All failed.
I downloaded Firmware at website sammobile.com.
Please Help me...!
If you were on the n910PVP5DQ15 firmware then the sboot is fused5, binary 4 and can not be downgraded. That is most likely the reason you have a fail in Odin. The following links will provide further information and guidance. If you have questions ask then in this post, good luck

Well I hope you don't ruin it. lol The Note 4 is concerned by many as "the last develop friendly phone". The Last Spirit update (5DQ15) has made it not so friendly. Prior to loosing my phone, I was on Lollipop
4COK1 with the ultimate Note 5 hybrid (MORA) rom as my daily driver. I could flash back and forth form lollipop to Marshmallow and choose many different custom roms. However, I seldom used MM because I didnt like the layout of the OS. Hated the mock location that force an app and Google maps in Samsung settings (BIG TIME, Yea how moke is it if it connected to Google maps?). While on lollipop just set mock location and done. Furthermore, the permission settings in MM are scattered in different sections that not only adds completely in navigation but confusion as to what the F is this? All the while stating udate for you security. My security or there's? Well, no use crying over spilled milk as they say.
Being locked to 5DQ15 firmware was a new experience. Now years later, I found myself unfamiliar with the Note 4 5DQ15. The first thing I noticed was n910p xda forum was "where did everybody go" ? Next thing I noticed is all the bricked devices and fails in Odin when downgrading the 5DQ15. Thats when I decided the safest choice to begin with was the

Being with installing TWRP followed by rebooting the phone. Then I rebooted back to TWRP and made a backup of all the partitions to external sd. Afterwards, I flash the custom rom. I was very pleased it had completely with xposed firmware and models. Although its really a great rom, I still missed my old customizations in 5.0 roms.
Reading threw the forums at that time provided very little to go by and the information posted by members seemed to conflict. Some said you you can on 6.0 rom and others saying the opposite. All the while lioking to purchase another n910p with a lower bootloader which lead me to visual prof of custom roms on 6.0 are compatible (maybe). I still needed to flash to be 100% sure. (screen shots in next post).
I also felt like you "Its an inexpensive device and Im going to take a risk".

To all , You never know what has been installed hidden within the system when purchasing a pre-rooted phone.
If thats not enough, consider the developer of the rom that has put in all the work, cheated out of there donations.

The warranty company assumes responsible with new devices, of course rooting will void the warranty.
Not that difficult to find someone with the skills to edit Android devices. I'll simply say XDA
You are using Z3E tool and Odin are you not? Well then why not buy a newer phone?

I could buy a new phone but the newer models of have locked bootloaders. (us versions).
