Hallo
Been a long time haven't using android in couple years.. now i got pure android...
some question:
1. how to sync the music to android ? i try using doubleTwist but it keep saying to enable disk mode, but i already check the setting and cannot found it..
2. how to use android auto with this phone ?
thanks in advance
iTunes sync
About the first question. iSyncr with Rocket Player are a good solution that works well for me synching playlists back and forth. I haven't tried yet with this phone (trying to replace iTunes as main player) but this combo never failed on other devices I own.

Hi Forum,
I need some help! I am running a Mac, and have yet to find a good media transfer software for my music...
I use iTunes as my Media Player - Wanting to sync about 5-7GB of Music
I have tried a Trial of The Missing Sync - Find it quite Bloated,
DoubleTwist always seems to Crash or take about 1-2 min to load up
Sony Ericsson Media Suite - Crashes Constantly.
I have refreshed my OS and tried these software from basic OSX 10.6 install and still suffering from the same issues...
Any Suggestions?
dude try this out

Hello everyone, So I download it double twist to sync my itunes playlist with my macbook and when I check the player in the phone, the music is not organize at all, has anybody experience this or knows of different solution to sync my Vibrant with itunes ?
Thank you all.
The DoubleTwist solution seemed to not be very useful for me. I don't want to sync 'playlists', I want to move my meticulously-detailed albums collection over.
I ended up enabling USB-debugging to mount the drives, and then moved the albums over, like it's 1997. Click and drag.
As an iPhone owner, it's really hard to accept this. The iPhone integrates seamlessly with the Mac platform and ecosystem. But I guess this is the price you pay
The Vibrant's music player is nicer than others, but it is no iPod app, that's for sure. Album art is often missing for no reason at all (but will sometimes re-appear without warning) and the organization preferences don't really seem to matter.
I'm not really sure if there is a better way to do it, but I feel your pain.
I have spent crazy hours and so far no luck, Hopefully an update will fix his in the mean time I'm using Morplayer from the market not as fancy as the Vibrant's player that's for sure..
Thank you.
I use tunesync to copy music and playlists over from my PC. It does it all automatically over wifi...need it on the PC and on the Vibrant.
I then use bTunes to play the music on the Vibrant...all playlists show up correctly.
Your solution hopefully works, can you try to help ?
So I have tunesync listening trhu port 9090 in my mac, so when I test connection
Computer name set up OK
Connect to wifi (name) OK
Get ip for computer FAILED, where do I enter my ip address ?
So when I go to playlist sync, " empty " what am I missing ?
Thanks
Hello all,
I searched for a better answer, and cant find one, so i'm turning it over to you guys. I currently have a macbook and am looking for a better way to sync my music. I've done the drag and drop thing, i'm currently using Double Twist (which is slow as molasses btw) and it works, but is a pain for a music library of 95 gigs syncing about 10-12 gb of music on a 16gb micro card. The syncs are slow, the mac app is slow, and poweramp is a way better sounding music app for android devices. So here's my question, what do YOU currently use to sync your music between you phone and your macbook. Any programs that are available for both mac and windows are welcome as well. Thanks.
iSyncr for Mac is what I'm currently using.

Using DoubleTwist. I sync over USB often, but not WiFi because its pretty darn slow. I don't mind it much because I don't sync very often so its not a big deal. I just like using the DoubleTwist app on the phone.
Im in the same boat. Doubletwist has its disadvantages - it looks like it plays everything from iTunes in alphabetical order. Also the Doubletwist library doesnt show updates from iTunes. There is another app called Salling Media that you can find in the Mac App Store. It basically does the 'drag and drop' work for you. For me sadly, I just drag and drop back and forth between my Android and Mac.
I use iTunes for managment then sync with DoubleTwist. I do not listen to music just podcasts and my library is nowhere near your size. I would suggest you use the same method until DT gets better. If usb sync is getting too slow then use wifi and sync overnight. But set it to only sync playlists and you should be fine.

Ive read a lot of posts where people recommend Poweramp, Pro Players, etc. Ive also messed around with Google Music.
What I am most focused on is a music app that allows for easy synch. For example, what I liked about DoubleTwist was that I could use Windows Media Player to organize music and playlists on my PC, plug in my phone, and have it very easily and seamlessly automatically synch any new playlists and songs. However DoubleTwist does not currently work with S4, Nexus 7, etc.
Google Music has a nice easy interface but synching was hard - the wireless took FOREVER and it didnt synch easily when plugged in.
Can anyone help guide me on so me of the music player choices in terms of this ease of keeping it synched with my PC music library?
Try easy phone tunes... Works for me!

Get iSyncr from the playstore and use any player you want.
Guys - since posting this I have tried a bunch of different desktop music players to organize my music and easily synch it with my device. Ive tried WMP, MediaMonkey, etc.
By far the best I have come across is MusicBee. Its very easy to use, has all the features Id want (for example, ReplayGain) and it synchs quickly, easily and reliably.
I strongly recommend it!
Hey guys
I tried a couple of app's and options to sync the music I have ('normal' mp3's and 'normal' m3u's) with my phone - I was max half successful until now.
May I ask you how you do that? And please don't tell me spotify, google music or something like that
Thanks a lot
Oli
I use MediaMonkey. Syncs iOS as well.
If you're coming from iOS, or just using iTunes to manage your tunes, look into iSyncr - I used it for quite a while on Windows before I abandoned and moved to Linux.
I kept a couple playlists built in iTunes and had them set to sync to my phone, made things easy to deal with.
I haven't finished figuring out as good a situation on Linux yet. Too lazy. ;^)
Thanks guys, Mediamonkey Sync worked now, at least a bit - but there are still all the 'old' Playlists I had on the phone for some tests, and MediaMonkey does not delete them even if they are not around anymore. Do you have a idea or can I delete the library somehow?
