I accidently, in privacy guard aka app-ops, unchecked the Android System's keep awake and running background, then every app stopped working, then I'm in bootloop, is there a way to adb back into app ops and change it? I can access TWRP and don't ask me to clean flash... Any help is appreciated

Running SmoothROM with 4.2.2 (I think) and I was messing with the "Permissions Manager" settings under "Settings". I turned off several permissions on Facebook, such as SMS view/sender and location on it as well on some other apps. I then rebooted the tablet and now I'm stuck on a boot loop. I don't get how because these aren't system apps, so I don't think it should affect the system booting up at all. Sadly I didn't make a nandroid backup before doing this, since I thought the worse that could happen would be the apps force closing which is easily fixed. Since I didn't make a backup I rather try things that wouldn't make me lose any data.
I can get into recovery (TWRP) and have already made a backup of the current boot looping state. I have already tried deleting cache and dalvik-cache and still won't boot.
I have an idea: Turning the "Permission Management" setting to "Off" would make the apps have their default permissions. I would have to get into /data/data/com.Android.Settings and find the "Permissions Management" setting and set it to "false" or "off" through ADB. So I would have to pull the file and push the edited file back through fast boot or recovery. Anyone think this would work??
FWIW: I updated the kernel (Franco) with his franco.Kernel app 1 reboot ago, but it rebooted fine, not sure if it could be the kernel that has me in this bootloop?

Hello there,
is there a way to make sure that all recents apps which haven't been closed manually do no longer appear after a reboot. I am aware this is an android 5 bug...but perhaps any of the developers here at xda is able to fix that bug. It appears that the reboot does not completely clear the phone cache.
Thanks and regards,

Close the apps before you reboot for now.
Hello ,
I have a rooted LG G2 AT&T with a stock Lollipop rom.
I don't know why but recently my phone began to have this strange behavior.
Whenever I reboot the phone, it restores my previously uninstalled apps and all the updates installed between two reboots go missing.
The other strange thing is that all the NEW apps installed instead are kept.
The phone has become very slow booting and during the boot it shows the popup stating "Android is upgrading... Optimizing app x of n", where the total number varies time to time.
Does anybody have any idea on how to solve it?
Thanks in advance
Update: the boot time and number of apps being optimized varies with the number of uninstalled apps.
I tried:
cleaning dalvik cache
cleaning cache partition
fixing permissions
deleting apps with TB
disabled auto restore from google account
Hello, I need some help... It seems that I have an unstable installation and every time I:
- flash something in TRWP
-Use Titanium Backup to freeze an app or un install a system app
-Clean the Dalvik cache or cache
-Uninstall system applications /bloatware/apps I do not use : launcher (I use Nova launcher), Gmail (aquamail), SMS (textme), etc..
-...
I have to cross my fingers so when I reboot does not happen the following :
1-Axon logo splash screen shows up for a painfully long time (~15 minutes)
2- Then white box indicating Application xx of yy is being Optimized
3- After optimization of all apps the white box of Death indicates "applications being started"
4- In an OK boot I will see my launcher or lock screen and I will be safe
5-If things go FUBAR (****ed-beyond-any-recognition) the Axon splash screen will show and the loop will start
I have left it a hole night with the power charger on at risk of melting the batteries!!!
OK I did research notice that I have a rooted but locked bootloader (can any confirm that this could be a root cause for the white box of death? :
1. I have a ZTE encrypted ROM, therefore I cannot do certain things in Recovery unless I format data, then I can erase catche/dalvink. (system/data./etc If some one has found a way to bypass the encryption let me know please because I tried the. C batch command prompt or Google play Crystal)
So the trick I found was to install a . zip from Recovery then I have the option to clean the dalvik catche.....but it does not fix the error.
I use three apps to clean cache from the OS live : Titanium Backup, Root tool box FlashFire but if I reboot the white box of Death is back.
2. Use some of the system : System repair for Android.. still no luck
3. OK I researched and I think the root cause is a deox issue... So I looked into a fixer of deox. Found it in play OptimizeRepair... No luck
4.App from playstore Fix Permissions before reboot.. No luck
5. Use Titanium Backup to place Dalvik cache as part of the ROM...TT did not like the operation and halted.
OK, that is all if any one has fixed this issue before I appreciate if you let me know how, thanks
Ps: I have a total of about 500 installed apps (user+system). I do not think it would be an issue other than the optimization process due to the shear number of apps.
Today, I noticed that I had once a pattern lock and the phone just opened on swipe.
So, I went to settings and the security was set to swipe (I didn't change it). I clicked on it and the settings app crashed. Everything else in settings is working fine. Its just this thing causing trouble.
So the phone is crashing when trying to change screen lock
Some things you should know
1. I had rooted my phone with magisk manager about two weeks ago
2. I had substratum theme installed and overlayed on almost all apps including settings
3. After the settings crashing problem, I uninstalled magisk and had a full unroot and updated the security patch with a stock boot image
4. Everything else is still fine, but the settings crashing problem persists
I uninstalled all the apps that required root access before unrooting
Now the phone is unrooted back to normal no theme overlays, but the settings is still crashing when attempting to change screen lock and the fact being that it automatically changed to swipe
Any help would be appreciated

Very weird..I guess the last option is to full reflash with wiping data.
