Hi everyone, I have a stock rom WW-14.2020.1709.68, the phone has never been rooted and I have a problem with the bluetooth MAC address. Sometimes it is automated set in 00:00:00:00:5a:ad and the peripherals (headphones, handsfree) do not work. At restart, return the correct address.
Does anyone have my own problem? How can I fix it?
Thanks
Same problem on ZE520KL...
Z.
I've been doing an hard reset, but the problem still here....
just resolved today with the latest update WW-14.2020.1711.75

Hi. The Wi-fi on my G1 has stopped working.
I rooted my phone with the RC9 uk version by JF. I had no problems connecting to encrypted network.
I tried moving apps onto sd card and ran into problems so I wiped my phone and reset everything.
I cannot connect anymore on open or encrypted network. I can view it and when I try and connect it, it try's to obtain ip address and then fails!!?
Any ideas? Thanks
Hi
Does anyone think it's worth flashing back to the original version? I suspect not because it worked ok on the jf version I have but don't know what else to try?
I will try another wireless network at work today.
If my phone is picking up the network but not connect sound like a hardware problem or just a software one do you think?
Thanks
I had a similar problem but it was a router issue. I would def try another router before blaming the phone.
Ok. I just tried another router at work with an open network and its still the same. Shall I flash the phone do you think. Don't really want to do it again but I use the wifi network a lot and I am worried it could be hardware.
Thanks
well if you flash it and still have the problem then its hardware based. So nothing can hurt from flashing
I re flashed with latest version rc9 jf version and now working again. Thank you neoob
Hello everyone!
I was running stock 12.1 on my ZUK Z1 when one day its wifi was getting disconnected a lot. It then restarted and went into a bootloop. Long story short, I ended up flashing ZUI through QFIL and then later CM 13.1.
However, the problem now is that WiFi and Bluetooth aren't working. The WiFi switch moves but it keeps saying "turning on" but it doesn't. MAC Address is now 02:00:00:00:00:00. I am attaching some screenshots too for you guys to see.
Any solutions guys? I have found threads related to this problem for the Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy S2, OPO and all of them had solutions but didn't find any for the ZUK Z1. So, please help me fix this. I am rooted and can also provide logs or anything required. I am also attaching a screenshot of the /system/etc/firmware/wlan/prima/WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin which has some weird special characters, not sure if that is relevant here but I am attaching it. Oh and, IMEI numbers are displaying and are correct. I can also make phone calls and connect to the mobile data.
Thank you!
Flash exposed framework.
Use Hijack Suite mod & activate it to set custom mac addresses.
Or use any mac address spoofing technique for android found on google.
I'm experiencing exactly the same issue but with zui roms.
Someone please help.
Hi!
After flashing a new custom rom my phone's wifi has stopped working. I saw that MAC address is changed in 02:00:00:00:00:00. I tried with wypes, flashing a new custom rom, came back to the stock rom and resetting network settings but nothing has changed. I can't find a copy of the old mac address. How can i solve this problem? Thanks.
Flash the KDZ file using Lgup uppercut.

Did you do a backup first?
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
i think it's a hardware failure. if you have flashed a stock rom and the issue is still there. it must be a hardware issue since its not a software issue. i had this problem with my xperia x and have seen it in some samsung devices. it is the wifi ic which needs to be replaced. the bluetooth too should have problems not only the wifi.
I don't have any backup... Do you know if LG's warranty covers this type of HW problems?

People do you even have a solution for my WiFi problem? I have been asking this on several forums but unfortunately I get no reply, my N6P is no more detecting WiFi signals and Bluetooth. I literally get only loading screen on my WiFi panel and end up loading at the end only. I flashed stock images as referred by one of my friend but unfortunately nothing happend N6P without a WiFi is boring guys please help.
I don't get Bluetooth signals also
There is also no IP address seen and it is showing unavailable and MAC address in 20:00:00:00 from long time
I have been done flashing stock firmware images of Oreo and Nougat.
One day long back it's been months, I once tried flashing custom kernel it suddenly worked then I don't know when it disappeared.
Anything related to kernel and the signals of WiFi and btooth ?
Your help will be appreciated guys help

If you have already wiped your phone completely by formatting the partitions and flashing the stock image using flash-all.bat script, there is nothing else to do. Both Wi-Fi and BT are on the Broadcom chip soldered on the motherboard. Try again. Ensure you have the latest ADB/Fastboot binaries on your PC. Connect your phone to the PC and fastboot format (not erase) system, userdata, cache partitions and then use the batch file included with the full image. This will return your phone to bone stock. If you still have the problem, the motherboard and/or chip is bad. If you have "already done that", you are at the end of the road.
Hello,
I have this problem youtube. com/watch?v=8zVz8fsX9J4
Someone knows how to solve the problem? I have reset, all wipes, change rom and nothing.
I need your help please, I have already asked in other forums and nothing ;( sorry for my english level is not my native language.
Most likely a hardware issue if you don't have any WiFi issues on other devices.. I assume you tried non-eUI ROMs too. If the issue is also occurring on non-eUI ROMs like LineageOS, then it can't be a simple software issue. If changing WiFi settings doesn't fix anything, the WiFi module itself is most likely bugged.
What you can also do is check your router. Maybe some configuration is making your phone's WiFi go crazy, but I doubt it. Also see this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/help/x720-wifi-t3699717
You'll likely have to get your phone RMA'd.
I had a similar issue with my Zenfone 3 but it was a software issue. Rebooting the phone, clearing the cache partition, and resetting the network settings all fixed it. And the switch only turned on and off rapidly with one specific WiFi connection--a public WiFi connection at a train station. Have you tried WiFi elsewhere? Or is the WiFi switch in a constant loop of turning on and off?
:/
Some method to know if it is a software or hardware problem?
I just discovered that bluetooth does not work, the problem did not happen all at once, sometimes my wifi was blocked and after a reboot it was fixed but now that does not work.

First the error happened in the ROM STOCK, I did a factory reset and nothing.
I changed the ROM and the Wifi worked sometimes now it does not work anymore.
I have Mac 02: 00: 00: 00: 00: 00, bluetooth address not available, ...
The wifi or bluetooth does not work

Do you have any efs and firmware/modem backup in twrp from before?
Also did you clean install the stock rom again?
This guide also can be useful for manual installing of firmware in fastboot: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/guide-how-to-manually-upgrade-firmware-t3609786
