Hello everyone ,
From past few days i'm facing massive problems with my touchscreen , for example - can't able to type properly always ended up with something else which i did'nt wanted to type , trying to call contact A but call connects to contact B , not able to unlock my lockscreen (sometimes after 7-8 times trying , it works) and many more . But whenever i plug in my redmi 2 prime to charger (wall or in pc ) all the touch problems vanished :3 it works smooth as hell and i do not face any of the touch problems but as soon as i unplugged it from the charger the problem again reappears
Anyone of you facing such problems?
Thankyou for helping guys
P.S - I did reset , flashed fastboot rom , flashed recovery roms but none of them worked .:crying:
I get reverse problem when i connect the phone into charging and use it. Screen gets unresponsive or keeps tapping itself. Its a normal problem in low end devices. Now in new phones it would had been fixed. But in ur situation i think its a problem with data connection of high frequency. Coz i got that problem in a low end lava device of 2013 , where screen becomes unresponsive when connected to charger or when i turn on 3g data connection. In my experience it might be due to high signal strengths the phone would gets junky. Try flashing back to kitkat miui with clean flash and update to miui lollipop if u have 2 gb ram phone
It could be becouse of the voltage, are you using a custom kernel?

Help guys...i'm experiencing a strange issues with my HD2.
Everything was working fine. no problem at all and at the moment it has been almost 6 months that i was using an andorid nand rom.
today without any reason (no new app, no new room...nothing at all!) i have the following problem.
When i wake up the phone is not recognizing the touch,...i have to switch off e on the monitor severl time.
I cant understand what happened? it's become impossible to use the mobile. even when is unlocked some times is not recognizing any touch.
help please
Since it requires you to turn off and on the screen several time to get the touch working, I assume you are facing this issue.
Good luck .
Hi there ,
So I got sick with my stock ROM hangs and being so laggy , finally decided to take action , sold my gear 2 neo watch and installed CM11 on my SGS4 device.
everything worked fine until the first phone call that I tried to place , I was riding my bike on my way to work and had a static noise in my ears in full volume , so loud and painful I almost made an accident.
turns out it's a known issue , but for me it's a deal breaker - most of phone calls do not work.
bluetooth headset is not working , mic headphones is not working.
This is a real shame , thought CM ROM for SGS4 is going to be bulletproof since it's a major device.
anyway , so now I have 2 options :
1) Going back to stock and suck it up.
2) Install some other ROM that works fine.
Question is , is there any stable ROM which was built from pure android same way CM is?
I'm not looking into experimenting with my device since I had enough of this back in my SGS1 days
any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Hello guys,
I'm currently having issues with my phone since I've dropped it in a pond outside, and I guess it's the motherboard that is affected.
I cannot charge my phone (I use a desk changer + another battery), the flash is working only for half a second while taking pictures so I need to manually set the ISO, but those problems are not so important.
The reason I write here is because everytime I flash an official or any other touchwiz based LOLLIPOP OS, the phone is getting through a "plug/unplug". I don't know how to explain, it simply says that it's charging, then after a few seconds it says it's not charging, and so on, WITHOUT having it plugged.
Is there any way to simply delete these instructions from the OS? The phone is working flawlessly otherwise.
These things only happen when using official or touchwiz based LP, the KK ones are working as they should, and it's a bit weird because only with LP I have these problems. Also, if I flash some CM based OS, it's working flawlessly.
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Nexus 4.
Android 5.1.1
Kernel version 3.4.0-perf-gdffc258
I have had this phone for over 2 years. For last 6 months it has given some problems.
I had an issue 3 months ago where it would stall at the welcome screen for Android.
Factory reset worked on this occasion.
NOW I have major issues with
1. No sound heard. (neither speaker nor headphones)
2. Using the volume key slows the systems right down and no effect on sound (i.e. still cant hear anything)
3. Whatsap call cant be placed or received (if i try it hangs the system)
4. Normal phone calls have the same issue but I can still hear sometimes and the mic also does work but interrupted and laggy.
5. Youtube open but does not play video or audio at all.
6. Spotify can play but no music is heard
7. Screen dims out at times totally
8. After reboot it gives error "Launcher is not responding" . I use the basic version no fancy launchers.
I HAVE tried clearing the cache and resetting to factory but nothing works at all !
Is this a hardware issue or software ? Any tips how to fix it. Thanks
Possible loose connection inside the phone? Was the phone ever dropped or exposed to moisture?

Click to collapse
It has been dropped but not from a great distance and also it has a good case. It can be that there was some problems with moisture given there was incessant rain recently and I might have used it for a sec or so.
Would such a problem cause even the software to be slow or hang ? (like whatsapp, calling, youtube)
What do u suggest in this case ?
Did the problems appear shortly after the drop or after slight exposure to moisture?
I suggest removing the back of the phone and check the moisture sensors and look for residue on the circuit boards.
Before doing troubleshooting on the hardware, I would try a full flash back to pure stock lollipop and KitKat, to see if that solves the problem. If that is a no-go, then it would be time to inspect the hardware.
Thanks ! Could u please point me to as to how to get it back to pure stock Is. Thanks
1. Background
It's been 4 months since I bought Xiaomi K20 8G and 256G(Not Pro). I bought it from China, and from the beginning, the cell phone was unlocked. (I didn't know what it was. Maybe the seller changed the Chinese version to Global Rom and sold it. I didn't even know what that meant at the time. I think seller stated the same.)
2. Problem
There was a bit of heat from the beginning. And I got many messages that due to heat warning, the Wifi, camera, and 3G/4G would be limited. In relation to that, I found out that there had been a lot of such problems while searching solution in Internet, and I saw many articles, software upgrades had solved such overheating. And someone recommend such thing can be solved by installing ROM again in the setup(there is menu downloading latest ROM). So I tried this (MIUI 11.0.4 global) and further deleted many apps and re-installed apps, used battery saver mode and etc.. Though there was heat, phone didn't give a overheating message, and wifi also worked well.
For the time being around 1 month, I used it well.
Just 4~5 days ago, again overheating message came. Then new ROM (11.0.5) came and phone got hang / shut down / reboot / Overheaing warning / wifi disconnected.(WIFI is on, but suddenly not working. Then I off WIFI, tried to on WIFI but it didn't ON. Toggle button move but come back off position again, Once I reboot, it work for some time only.)
3. Attempts to resolve
Although phone has heat, I decided to install TWRP & the other operating system (ROM) because I thought such problem coming from the operating system / software / apps rather than a hardware problem.
I've been working hard on installation of Pixel Experience following the guide of the experts, but the above problems persist, I've changed Global Rom to EU Rom, I've tried downgrading from the recently updated MUIU.
However reboots occur more and more frequently.
Even though I don't do anything, my K20/9T phone is rebooting, hanging, stopping, and shutting down. And even no tasks are there, heat is on the phone.
4. Request.
Experts, please help & guide me.
I'm under huge stress from K20/9T.
I am trying to drain out battery.... at this moment.
LOL just fu cking trash your phone and buy the pro one
You should try xiaomi.eu ROMs.
