My work in progress practice space. Just hung the guitars yesterday before taking this.
Untouched shot of night sky.
Here is my youngest son.
Pretty damn impressed with this camera.

I know Motorola has never been known for good cameras, and is really do like my RAZR M, but is there no solution to the consistently grainy photos it takes? It kills me how much better photos are on even an old iPhone compared to this thing. I've tried a few other apps as well but no luck. Thanks!

Try tweaking the settings. These are some pics I've taken with my M on HDR mode and they're not too bad at all:

Any particular tweaks you recommend? I'm feeling like it is hopeless. HDR actually looks worse for me in that it blurs.

No real "tweaks" per-se. Just set the camera to its highest MP settings, use the appropriate shutter settings for the environment you're in, and rest the phone on something if you want a good, clear shot.
Yep guys, there's an 8 megapixel shooter with CMOS sensor.
Post your best pictures that you've got in your gallery taken by s4 mini.
Do you think that a 8 MP CMOS censor is so special?? The S4 Mini doesn't have the best camera available or kinda thing ....
Really, but its kinda better!
Here come a few nice pics I've taking this my i9195.

Hi,
On my Galaxy S6 I have a camera mode which was also present onthe S5 too called "Virtual Tour" (don't get confused with Virtual Shot).
Now on the modes to download there's not there, but still for the S6.
Does someone knows how can I get it back?
Thanks!

Surround shot stays in just one place with a 360° view while virtual tour not only does that, also moves arround several sorround shots. It was really useful for me.
Here's an example of that mode: https://youtu.be/JxphLIrF_hE

I know nothing about photography. Why does the camera take dark pics with the flash is seem like the pic is taken on the tail end of the flash is there a way to adjust that

Long Press Capture Button
I had this same issue. For me if I hold the on screen capture button it seems to fix the issue 75% of the time. Let me know if you understand what I mean.
What do you mean the screen capture button

Darn, sorry man. If I quick press the button my images come out dark, but if I long press it they're fine.
Does it have something to do with hdr?

If you have the flash on it should automatically turn off HDR.
All four of the HTC Bolts I bought take pictures after the flash has gone off and are dark. I tried different camera software and still the same.
As the title says this was at 50x zoom last night, gonna try Jupiter with a tripod

50x should get you the night shot of the moon shown here. Everything up to 50x will be a bunch of light.
Night shot is freaking magic.
50x from side of house
Never have been able to get a good pic of the moon with a cellphone before! Here's mine from they other day. Pretty cool
Thought I'd post a shot of the moon from our smoke filled skies in Sacramento, CA.
I have a feeling Samsung has some stories images of the moon on the phone itself and shows those to you!
No tripods
Here's mine I took it while on a boat at night.

They would have to use location in order to get the correct rotation of the moon, it changes depending on where you are in the world. Cracking shots though, in the mountains next week and will be testing out my camera...
