From China Beta to China Stable - 8.9.6 to 9.6.12.0

I get my Mi Max 3 with fake ROM and it was already unlocked. I have a lot of problems with my Mi Max 3, also with xiaomi eu ROM so I will go back and relock bootloader, to unlock official.
So, official 8.9.6 ROM is flashed over MiFlashTool and booloader is open.
I wanna switch from Beta to Stable ROM. My question is: can I flash official stable China 9.6.12.0 ROM and lock bootloader (clean all and lock) over 8.9.6? Or will Anti-Rollback break device?
If this is possible I will unlock bootloader on official way and flash xiaomi eu stable or maybe official global ROM (if it is released).
Thx

Click to collapse
Check drivers (adb/asus)
flash TWRP then download official Pie stable from asus website. That's how I do it. :good:
