Loaded LineageOS 14.1 nightly. set-up was perfect. Phone was working fine. then i loaded custom splash.img from fastboot. Now it's on boot loop. I can't even shutdown. Had to remove battery for shutdown. I can't even go to recovery mode, probably because of loop stuck on splash.img. It instantly goes to loop when i connect it to PC through USB. NEED HELP. How can i make it right?

I have installed Unofficial CM 13 successfully, but I forgot to root the device, so I go back and flash supersu file and reboot - I think I flashed wrong version for marshmallow. now phone stuck at cm boot animation, I have no recovery, only has access to download mode. I also have no access to phone through adb or fastboot.
I was in the similar situation before, where I was stuck at lg logo, and fix it by flashing stock rom (now I cannot find that thread), but now it tries to boot the rom, seems like a different situation.
What should I do?

Hi - I unlocked and rooted mine and originally put MrColdBirds nightlies on. Running Resurrection Remix now.
I note the boot logo has changed from the cool ZUK logo to a very small Linux penguin.
Can I change this? Preferred the old ZUK logo.
Just flash boot file from coldbird via fastboot mod.

Ok then try to boot into fastboot/bootloader
wipe all (Data,Cache) (fastboot -w)
fastboot reboot
If this isn't working then try to erase the whole system by
fastboot erase system
Then flash custom recovery
clean install a rom (Octa OS is good)
Then tell me
If it stuck at lenovo boot logo...
Then it is not dead..
It is just hard bricked...
you can also go for any hardbrick soluton...
Presss like if it helped!!!...

After flashing TWRP for the first time (especially TWRP 3.2.3 by SagarMakhar https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=3700668719832241089) you have to wait for nearly 5 min for first decryption to fail.
Afterwards it works as usual.
You will get TWRP logo on screen and have to wait until you get into MENU.
If it is a bootloop you will not bootloop into TWRP but on system.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply, but u didn't get my problem, this is not the first time I'm flashing twrp, this happened after I changed from one rom to another, twrp was working fine until now.
And the problem is, if I try to boot into twrp it shows the twrp logo then immediately a black screen comes up then the twrp logo again and so on indefinitely.
I've tried flashing twrp again through fastboot, it succeeds but same thing happens when I boot into twrp again. I've tried different twrp versions as well.
Directly booting from fastboot doesn't work and spits out an error. (FAILED remote: unknown command)
Do u suggest I try to go back to stock rom using the 247 fastboot firmware?

Fastboot flash to 247 will resolve the issue if it was caused due to any ROM.
May be some partition got formatted.

Ok I have a few doubts regarding going back to stock.
This is the guide that I'm supposed to follow right, the one in the OP by you? https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ow-to/guide-revert-to-stock-rom-lock-t3798420
Is it alright if I am in a custom rom at the moment, can i still flash the fastboot firmware?
And is it safe for me to do it right now with twrp still kinda present?
Thank You so much for your help, really appreciate it
Edit: Ok just realized your post answers all of my questions but thanks anyway
