How to use Samsung Health App with Knox Warranty 0x1 (Nougat) - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

You probably know that Samsung in 7.0 make some Samsung Aplications check Knox Warranty Status and in consequence if you have 0x1 most of the Samsung apps won't work. I found a method to fix that, first of all, install a custom recovery (recommended TWRP, you can find one here made by Zonik)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...overy-twrp-3-1-0-0-samsung-galaxy-a5-t3606792
Once you do that, root you device, I recommend to use Magisk.
Now you have to download a file manager, recommend Root r
Explorer, go to System/Private-apps and search for a folder called SHealth5, delete it and reboot your device. Now download and install this app like a normal apk:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...ase/s-health-4-8-1-0025-android-apk-download/
Now launch it, accept term and conditions and try to syncronice with your Samsung Account (now you are going to get an error, don't worry is normal). Now go to Play Store, update the app and that's it you now have Samsung Health running with Knox 0x1.
I hope I helped you, if I helped you please don't forget to click "thanks" button.
(Tested on SM-A510f Nougat)

Your tip is Good
Method 2 --build.prop
ro.securestorage.support=false
ro.config.knox=0
ro.config.tima=0
is also working with knox warranty 0x0 (Nougat).

Hello.
I had rooted my Galaxy S4 (i9505), 4.4.2, without triggering the Knox Flag, using CF-Auto-Root, via Odin. The Flash Counter is now 1, due to flashing something, but Knox is 0x0. Flash counter can be reseted by using Triangle Away,
Hope this helps.

Thanks to you.Still can not root at the moment fir I9500
Not included - Triangle Away - ! NOT OPERATIONAL ON THE GT-I9500 !
Triangle Away can be used to reset the flash counter after installing CF-Root. The flash counter keeps track of how many custom firmwares you have flashed, as this voids warranty. (No idea what this about ? Read up on it, you will want to use this !)

Bear in mind, that I am not 100% sure that it will work on ALL Galaxy S4 devices (I mean not trigger it).
Also bear in mind that OTA (Over the air update) will NOT work, it will return the message "Phone was been personalized."
Although, Kies sees it. Also make sure you don't have Knox mode activated or installed.
LATER EDIT:
I see that Triangle Away is only for the Qualcomm Galaxy S4 (9505). That means that you can't, at this moment, reset the flash counter. There are basically two things to worry about:
- Knox Flag -> as which seems so, I avoided it by installing that CF-Auto-Root on my 9505. I am not sure about avoiding it on 9500, but it should work.
- Flash Counter -> it raises everything you flash something via download mode. If it's 0, in Settings > About Phone > Status >Phone Status, it will return "Original" or something. If it's anything else than 0 (like 1, which I currently have cause I re-flashed root due to some tiny problem), it will return "personalized" or something like it. That will still void warranty IF the phone is sent to warranty like that, but will NOT trigger Knox. Also that will stop OTA Updates from working, but Kies updates will work (for some reason, samsung bug, use it ).
I have no idea how to help you regarding that Flash Counter on the 9500.

Knox after going back to stock

Hi!
I'm trying to go back to stock to try knox features like secure folder. I have restored my device (Spain unbranded) with SmartSwitch and flashing firmware through Odin.
My problem is that Knox and Secure folder says that it can not work because I have installed unauthorized software. SafetyNet passes, on download mode, I see all official, and Apps (like banking apps) works fine without detecting root.
I have warranty void bit = 1. This means that, even flashing again stock firmware, I will never be able to use Knox? I'm worried about using root cloacks methods because of something stops working (for example due an update) I will unable to access to secure folder.
Thanks a lot in advance!

As your knox is tripped already i.e. showing 0×1 so you will never be able to use knox related security features as well as samaung pay on your phone..When knox is tripped once while in rooting or trying any unauthorised software installation, it will never been reset to initial state either by trying to install stock firmware again..

^^That thread has a tutorial on how to get knox features working if your knox was tripped however I don't think it will as secure as it would be if used the knox features without knox being tripped.

I can recommend you flashing ambasadii's ROM. I'm currently using it with the latest SuperStock Kernel and have secure folder fully working. You'll have to download the full 10.1 ROM and the 10.2 OTA which is about 500mb

s health and secure folder doesn't work after updating to 7.0

hi guys
i have a problem in some apps and features
i was in 6.0 and install xposed and root then i update to 7.0 , now i can't use s health and secure folder it giving me these messages
i try to re install the update from odin with the 4 files then i try from Smart Switch the emergency software recovery and initialization , and it is give me the same problem
s health saying your device has been compromised (0x110060561)
secure folder cannot be set up because unauthorized software was installed on the device
Then you most likely tripped KNOX at some point. With the latest updates, if KNOX is tripped, Samsung blocks you completely from the program.
Youre going to have to re root, then follow this guide for S Health.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-s-health-devices-knox-t3543306
I can't offer any advice on Secure Folder, as I don't use that feature at all.
I know my replies can be long, but would rather give too much info, than not enough.
- Files are updated in accordance with the firmware at SER G935FXXU1DQB7;
- Full support for the work and Knox;
- Full support for the work and Secure folder (a hidden folder, you can turn on and off switches in the panel);
- Supports Samsung Pay (you can enter completely all card details, but after checking the card in 5 seconds says there is no connection to the server).

You have to reroot, you already tripped Knox

i was have same problem with s health and below solve the issue :
i downgrade to Android 6.0.1 by using odin and in CSC you should use CSC_OJV file (not HOME_CSC_OJV ) and then use s health for one time and after that let device update OTA to android 7 again
Just root your phone. Then flash all dm variety and super super su files. then flash superstock kernel. Knox and secure folder will start working. But for S health you will have to change build. Prop value..
Scroll down to ro.config.tima=1 change it to 0. and save. Reboot your phone. and boom it will start working

Issue is due to tripping your knox.
How can i fix it
Once Knox is tripped that's it there is no 'fix'
At the moment the only way to fix is replace motherboard or buy a new phone
Just means you cannot use some Samsung related apps like secure folder,Samsung pay Samsung private browser etc.

Eh, that's not a bad thing... There are plenty of way better alternatives on Gplay or F-Droid
There are 3 potential ways around it:
1. Custom ROMs based on stock that software set the Knox to be 0x0 (not tripped).
2. Use Magisk and hide your root on that app in particular.
3. Download a modded APK of Samsung browser that doesn't check for root
