I downloaded the new firmware today on my Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge...G935PVPS4APK1...anyone luck with rooting...just checking.

It cannot be done, the AT&T S7 and S7 Edge G935A/G930A phones cannot be rooted.
There are no successful methods to root the phone so ported or not roms will not work.
If you have a Tmobile branded phone and are on the tmobile network why are you here
in this forum when there is a specific forum for the AT&T S7 and S7 Edge users here?
