Here is something that seems to have helped my standby battery drain.:
Go to phone settings
Under "Wireless and Networks" select "More".
Under there select "Cellular Networks"
In there disable "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode"
This may have helped me because I'm in a poor reception area.

I don't know why you don't see that setting. Mauve is only available in the unbranded version of the ROM?

I would suggest you two things:
- Disable Razer Theme Store
- Close all apps and turn off wifi before sleeping
See if that makes any improvement
Been downloading stuff overnight, and when I get up the phone still had battery. Haven't watched mine closely for drain while doing nothing though.

Had my p20 pro yesterday. Turn on Ultra Battery when i go to bed at about 2300 with 69% battery. Wake up this morning at 0700 with 42% battery.
Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
See attached Screenshot.
Nothing changed like doze settings or smth.
Sleeping like a baby (25 min Sot) wifi and lte.
Got phone yesterday. It had been charging sontooknit off charge when I went to sleep. 7 hours later it had only dropped 4% 96%.
2% batt drop in 9h21m with everything enabled overnight, very happy with that.
I even go to sleep with 30% juice left without plugging it into the charger now
I am amazed at the battery drain, hardly drains at all. I haven't not charged overnight like I did with my previous Pixel 2 XL. Battery drainer faster with P2XL.
Plugged off charger at 0030 last night, now at 0830 had about 85%. Use AOD and no battery saving mode.
This is <2% per hour! Luv it!

Brother even i have a same problem...
Every night before sleeping my phone is usually at 47-48%. Every morning it is at 15% or less..
Thats massive drop in 7-8 hours.
It could be the network signal. I've noticed that in my flat, when in standby, he doesn't drain that much and I'm on wifi and full signal coverage from Vodafone. On the other hand I have worse drain when I'm at work, still connected to the wifi but the network coverage is quite poor, so I realized it drains more even if I am not using it at all.

Well you point is valid.
Here at my place i get full bars on my 4g network. So it doesn't seem that problem.
I tried to test just on network. Wifi off. Battery drained 3% over night. Which is fine.
Then i tried with wifi on, it drained 20%. What i am concerned is that usually when on wifi battery doesn't drain at all in standby mode, which is not the case with my unit.
I want to know if there is some problem with that
Me too. I am experiencing 11% battery drain during standby. When I looked into the battery usage, Screen, Phone Idle and Mobile standby seems to be on the high side of 20%.
What I've just discovered is that in mobile Network Setting -> advanced -> "mobile data always on" was activated by default. Just turned it off and will now see if it reduces both idle and active usage drain when connected with WIFI. Because afaik this setting keeps mobile data enabled when connected with wifi to make switching between wifi and mobile data quicker (which i dont really need and never missed).

I have p20 pro now, very happy with how little i drain overnight, but with a previous phone i noticed that when it was cold it frained much quicker, i dont know where the guys are who are omlainging about large battery drain, but it could be an issue?
I have set Mobile Data always on to Off but still experiencing great battery drain. Fully charged at 12am and woke up 5.30am with 70% remaining.
A quick look into my Battery Usage, found out that Screen, Phone Idle and Mobile standby is at 20ish%. Does anyone have this same issue or these 3 hardware should stay at a certain range in order for my battery drain to minimise?

I think you definitely has something running in the background draining your battery. I have everything active even Mobile Data always on and still my battery only uses around 2% in 9-10 hours.

I charge my phone during the night and remove it from the charger when I wake up during the night (usually at 3am). After that it's just laying around until about 10am(weekend) and if I pick it up it usually has 99 or 100%(wifi and Bluetooth enabled all the time). Of course there is more drain if you are on mobile data but you will have enough juice for one day for sure. I'm currently on 5,5h SOT with 22% left. Phone has not seen a charger for 13h and 34min, I had wifi for 10h and no time without signal
Well, after I disabled gallery sync, standby is really good. ~1%/hr which is for me perfectly fine

You are right, forgot to tell that, that mi sync stuff drained the battery a lot
(Test done with sync disabled)
During my sleep time (11PM-8AM - airplane mode active) it lose around 1% every two hours.
Else it lose around 1% every hour.
I'm currently at 86% of battery after doing 45~60 minutes of internet (estimated at 3% of battery use) and 15 hours and a half since last charge

3-4% normal at night..
I got 3% drain during night with wifi off and single sim installed.
The last two nights my Honor 10 lost about 20% over night (approximately 8h) in Flightmode. I can't tell why... There is no app or hardware that consumes more power than usual. After I got my phone the SOT was about 6 hours, now it barely goes over 3 hours. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Mine loses 5-7 % overnight which seems rather bad to me. My Xiaomi Mi4 which I had before lost like 1-2 %...

Even though you disable mobile data phone will search continuously for 4g signal which is not available properly, which causes battery drain.

Here is an update:
I tried to turn off every app in the battery settings so that they are not allowed to work in the background. That didn't help.
Then i turned off the wifi and bluetooth search for the location (GPS). That didn't help either.
After that i did some research and people with Honor 8 had the same problem and performed a "clear cache" via recovery so i did that too... What a surprise that didn't help. So i read some articles that the Google Pixel 2 and the One Plus 6 have some problems with the battery after the latest Oreo Update so i performed a factory reset aaand that didn't help...
So for fun i powered off my Honor 10 over night and the battery drain was also 20% and the phone was compeletly off.
I will now wait for the next Emui Update and if this will not help i have to exchange this phone.

Hello Everybody, sorry for the late reply.
I send the Honor back to the reseller and today it came back.
The display has been exchanged and two electronic components were exchanged (they did not specify which ones).
The problem seems solved with the repair of the phone.
For people who maybe have the same problem i attached the screenshot when the phone was completely powered off.
Thanks for your help

I often forget to turn wi fi off but it has never caused any battery drain. The phone consumers no more than 1% during 8 hours of standby every night. This phone is cheap but it's battery is amazing
---------- Post added at 03:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:25 PM ----------
Those who are facing battery issues can do the following:
1. Disable auto syncing
2. Disable auto wifi scanning
3. Disable "mobile data always on" in developers menu
4. Delete some unneeded apps using adb commands. In particular, RCSService (uceShimService), PAI, Spock, Carrier Services, Feedback and some google bloatware. deleting them via ADB won't affect system partitions and won't affect OTA in any way.

Is that 1% nightly loss with (or without) the measures you describe in 1-5 above?
Since the Pie update, mine is consistently losing about 1% per hour (25% per day) just doing (apparently) nothing (few apps installed to sync). I've tried switching off 4G data, WiFi, Location, but curiously that hardly makes any difference. I'm a bit disappointed in comparison to some older android devices that could go for weeks on standby. I can't make much sense of the percentage numbers in the "battery usage" settings as they don't seem to account for it all by any means. I suppose I can try full flight mode next (all radios off) and see how that affects it.

Sorry to hear you are having this. My phone would consume 4-5% before I did some digging and took the aforementioned measures. Now it only gets 1% (2% on rare occasions) overnight even after updating to Pie. However, SOT has taken a significant hit since the Pie update for to screen brightness being too dim when used below 30%. However there is still no problem with standby mode. Do you have D2W functionality? this might be affecting your battery life
Hello, I'm creating an account in order to give my real-life review of this phone. The previous phones I had were HTC One M8, LG G6.
Standby drain is excellent.
At night, I can loose 1 or 2 percent.
But, I have found that the drain is more important when Wi-Fi is turned on.
It only consumes 1% (7% Maximum when I leave WiFi/4G and location turned on) when on standby overnight. Typical for Android phones for me, which is a little bit disappointing considering that it is equipped with 4 Amperes battery.
To compare with, my previous phone (J500H with Bootleggers ROM) did surprisingly better for this, survived doing nothing for a week from 54% to 36% with WiFi turned on (when I just accidentally left it at home while I'm on vacation) and did drain 0-1% overnight doing nothing.
Phone went from 90% to almost shutdown overnight. Gsam reported netmgrd, ipa_ws prevented deep sleep, and Google Play Services have been using body motion sensor for the past 12 hours. I just posted my phone on eBay.
In the beginning battery life was great, close to 4 days. Three years later, it barely makes from morning (100% charged) to evening. Not even a full day....

Even battery setting or anything else cant drain 100 to 20%.for sure battery problem. Go and complain the official vivo store in your area.
I second what @RahilSayed88 said, no battery issues here, standby drain is about 3 - 5% max at night with wifi and sync on. If i turn the data off i am sure it would be around 2 - 3% only
Try a factory reset if you have an abnormal discharge in standby
