Either there is a problem with your WiFi hardware or the update didn't install properly. If u have root access then install a custom recovery and then re-install the stock samsung galaxy grand 2 rom.(Just google- 'samsung galaxy grand 2 stock os)
do wipe data factory reset it will fix

when I first got my Samsung GALAXY S3 Neo GT-I9301I it has the 4.4.4 stock rom
then I tried CM 12.1 on it, it didn't work well but when I wanted to go back to the Stock I didn't find the 4.4.4 for my model only the 4.4.2
instead I found that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo GT-I9300I has the 4.4.4 update
now I'm just wondering if I can tri it on mine , is it ok ?
Nope just install your 4.4.2 and update with ota update in settings
