So I had a pixel for a while and was able to respond to texts etc from the lock screen. I thought it would be the same for the PH1 but I have to unlock my phone to respond. I've tried Chomp sms and textra and neither work.

What about turning a lock screen pattern on or download sms popup and turn on the privacy setting. See what that does.

Get handcent sms from the market it's free, and disable your normal sms app notification. In handcent you can customise just about everything, including pop ups etc.
agreed. handcent has the option to have the popup on the lock screen or below the lock screen

I am trying to stop the lock screen notifications. The reason is that I am using NiLS and I want to use only NiLS for now.
The problem is that I cannot stop the missed calls and messages notification that came with the phone and so far I have both NiLS and Android (note 4) notifications on my lock screen.
I tried some options in "Notifications" Section in Messages app but with no luck. I was able to remove the text only but I still receive "New Message" notification on the lock screen.
Any help will be much appreciated.
I'm having the following issues since I've updated to Lollipop that I'm hoping somebody could help me resolve.
WhataApp: Vibrate is turned off in the app for group messages and only turned on for private messages, but the phone vibrates for all messages when the phone is on vibrate. Before, in vibrate mode, the phone only would vibrate for private messages.
Text message: Use to vibrate twice to differentiate text from other notifications, but now only vibrates once like all other notifications.
Am I the only one having these issues?

I have the exact same problem with whatsapp group notifications, they do not change vibration pattern or when I turn it off it still vibrates. However normal WhatsApp are fine.
Can anyone help?

Loving my 6T, but the only feature in really miss is the ability to reply from texts from the lock screen.
I tried chomp SMS but was having issues. Can't find another app that'll allow that.
Any other apps or tweaks that will prevent me from having to unlock the phone every time a text comes in???
I got my OnePlus 6T recently.
I have muted a group chat on Whatsapp, however, it still shows the notifications on the lock screen.
But when I unlock the phone there is no whatsapp notification (because I muted the chat)
This is not a big issue but its fustrating because it makes me think that I have a whatsapp message when it's just a useless group chat.
Any help would be appreciated on how to fix this would be appreciated. Thanks
