My phone was fine but yesterday I noticed that my phone is not charging. It detected the turbo charger though. It will charge when the phone is switched off but only upto 70%.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thankyou.

I had a similar issue with another phone. Turned out it was charging pin issue. Got it replaced for Rs 250 and everything was sorted.

I had the same problem almost at the same time as you... But I had Android 6.01 at the time. I was able to charge the phone in Factory mode only (like other people say), and only charges about 70%-80%.
Two days ago, I got the notification of Nougat update and obviously I updated the phone, hoping it helps me with the battery problem. Well, the only thing that changed was now I'm not able to charge the phone in Factory mode, only when the phone is shut down (With android 6.01 it won't charge when turned off).
So, now I don't know what to blame, a software or hardware issue...

I think you will have to give more information, such as is it rooted? Are you running Stock HC or ICS or a custom rom? Is it a 6800 or a 6810....

Leave it connected to the charger for awhile before doing anything, perhaps the battery is fully drained.

I have a EUR model so I will have to wait. But is the bug that the LG G3 had since the update to Lollipop solved? The bug where the screen goes on every 10 seconds after the battery is fully loaded using a wireless pad? Since the update to lollipop I cant use wireless charging anymore since this is a very anoying bug.
Wouldn't know. This is my first time on Lollipop.

I just updated my D855 SEA model with the latest OTA, did a fully wipe and started fresh. Charged it last night on the wireless charge pad and no such issue.
Cheers
Thanks, @cheetah2k

If this V20B SEA an older version than the current V20E?
I believe so, @twosix but the thing is, it doesn't have much bloat, IMHO.

My SEA/20b version has intermittent weirdness with wireless charging. It often wakes in the night to say its charging slowly. I'm using an LG WCP-700 charging pad.
Guys, for some reason I feel that 20b is better than 20e (had that before the official launch of lollipop for SEA).
after updating via pc suite and checking for another update, it shows two upgrades available with version that is still v20b.
can someone please let me know if they have successfully upgraded their phone with both upgrades?
thanks.

well that didnt go well, it was a two part update to 20b, after the first part installed it got stuck in a boot loop and then second part installed still in boot loop, after install finished it just kept boot looping, i had to put it in recovery mode and do a factory reset, that worked but it loaded up with 10k 4.4.2 kitkat, so pluged it back in and ive just updated back to 20b, think ill leave it there unless somebody wants to try it

Same thing happened to me, except i think i only got the boot loop after the second update.
Did you happen to catch the firmware file name of the second update?

in the box on the screen on the second update it was already showing 10 k 4.4.2, i can only think that the first part of the update rolled it back to kit kat
Reporting after update
Update sucks, a bit laggy, and usage bumped up from 14% to 20% in smart cleaning. And there's really no need for T-action, though quick remote did get its very much needed upgrade.
I think this has some added bloatware to it, guest mode is gone (i mean half-a$$ed), quick memo+ does not activate when pressing its icon from the integrated home button, but I did discover a way to use it.
First, open the quick memo icon (green), close it, then press the shortcut on the home tray, now it works!
does anyone of you know what's the difference between the brightness slider on notification widget having C on it and without C? I cannot understand what's the difference, it seems the same for me.

yeah, I have the same issue on my D802 and VDF stock release. I have 0,3-5A insetal 1.6-1.8A.
Hm, strange situation, on start of charging process I have 0,3A (previously I had 1.6-1.8A) but in the course of time
this value has been mount up to ~1.6A. Hm.
Hello everybody,
I've updated from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 last week, and i had a lot of issues with the battery since then.
Each night, the phone battery drops from 100% to ~25%-30%
I tried clearing cache, no luck
I tried doing a factory reset, no luck
I did a full reflash, no luck
Whatever i try, the battery drain is still there.
No root and KnoX0x0
Is there anything i can try ?
If i can't fix this issue, i will probably replace the phone with another model, because this is really frustrating.
Thanks
Root and deep sleep fix.
Same for me! Supposed DOZE would work, but when I'm home from work around 17:00h I have only 30% battery left, with 1h of SOT! This is ridiculous!!

Ask it to Samsung. Maybe they would replace it with another buggy one.
Almost everyone has fixed deep sleep issue with root & custom kernels here
I have the same issue, the battery is drained about 30% or 35% per night...
Which custom rom (similar to stock) should fix the deep sleep bug?
Thanks.

OTA update doesn't have such issues.. G9287C just got 6.0.1 update 2 days ago and it worked well on my device.. The issues is just rolling text when there is a notification doesn't appear anymore and just shows the icon.
I tried with OTA and the issue is still there. I noticed that if I turn off 4g and Wi-Fi, the drain stops.
weird

How much your battery drains when you do it? If I forget to turn off my wifi and cell signal, it will drain around 7-9% overnight.. I believe the phone will trying to maintain the stability of the signal and if we are in an area where the signal is unstable, then the phone will do more effort and it will take up the battery.
G928F with stock XEO ROM, stock kernel and rooted by TWRP 3.0 and SuperSU Beta. No Problem with deep sleep, everything fine.

Hi,
I just noticed my Galaxy S5 is acting very weird.
It keeps rebooting randomly and I noticed the battery is acting strange, very strange.
So before it reboots, it had 11% battery life then when it rebooted I got 21%?
So earlier I noticed that my phone was off while in my pocket which I presumed the battery was dead so I plugged it in straight away and noticed that there was 76% so I went ahead and turned it on and it was on 56%?
I'm running the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow 1st September security patch update
Can anyone help? I'm not rooted btw.

Random reboots equal kernel error error try flashing in odin the same firmware you are on currently check this by booting to recovery mode and it will tell you which firmware you are on
