so i have some questions.
1. can some1 give me mi ui 8 china rom for mi 3s prime?
2. can roms for mi 3s be installed on mi 3s prime?

I think I have an answer at least for one of your question.
Ad 2. Observing the thread about 13 cm on Redmi 3 forum noticed that users confirm that roms are working on both the 3 and 3 Pro. The only difference is the lack of fingerprint reader
Also i have a question too. Is there any method to root Redmi 3s Prime?

When I inserted a new memory card, only one option popped up - an option to format the card as NTFS format. There was no option to select the card as portable storage or adaptable storage. So, I guess MIUI doesn't support adaptable storage.

Is voLTE working on either of the custom ROMs, Resurrection Remix or CyanogenMod 13 ?

Does unlocking bootloader of xiomi redmi 3s voids the warranty?? Like moto phones? Jus asking as I got my first xiomi phone

need a link to download TWRP and all other required files to root 3S prime.

Answer for Q2. Yes. But first give me a rom which is only for 3s and not 3s prime.

Yes. Only on marshmallow based custom roms.

[HELP] Installed MiUi 7.5.3.0 of RedMi 2 Prime on my RedMi 2.

I am having RedMi 2.
I was having MiUi 8 on my RedMi 2 that i upgraded through the ota update.
But as i bought a Reliance Jio sim, i read somewhere that by Updating my phone with the miui of RedMi 2 PRIME, i will be able to use VoLTE function.
So i updated my phone with MiUi 7.5.3.0 of RedMi 2 PRIME.
i updated this by downloading the miui file from the miui forum.
My phone got updated with the MiUi of RedMi 2 PRIME, but then it had a error - that Sim is not getting detected in the device. I tried other sim cards in both the slot but still sim card is not getting detected.
Even the Sim Cards and Mobile Network section in the settings is disabled.
Now i tried to move back to my RedMi 2 MiUi.
I downloaded the MiUi of my RedMi 2 from the miui forum, but now i am unable to update the same, the error thats coming is - Zip file is corrupted.
I downloaded the file from miui forum.
Now pls help me... either to make the sim card to het detected or to move back to my miui of RedMi 2 so that my sim card gets detected.

Root ur device (google it) intall twrp from twrp fourm(google it) wipe the current rom reflash it i it still has no signal then again wipe it through recovery and install the redmi 2 zip it wont give any errors but u cant use volte(calling feature) in redmi 2 zip :good:

Find and flash this Rom using Fastboot Method. VoLTE is working on this Rom. U can update that Rom to the latest. Can confirm this as i am using the same with Jio in 1st Slot n Airtel in 2nd Slot

First of all MIUI 8 lollipop uses more internal storage as compared to KK. AND still you want LP ie prime rom for VoLTE simply fastboot prime's rom.
And as far as sim is not getting detected it is mainly due to you have downgraded from higher version of miui. To fix this flash the latest prime rom or clean flash fastboot rom
I RECOMMEND TO CLEAN FLASH REDMI 2 PRIME ROM via FASTBOOT. Search miui forums you will get both flash tool and rom file.

My friend is running Prime ROM on 1 GB version without any problems. I think you shouldn't worry.

You should fastboot flash Prime ROM on 1 GB variant. Then hopefully you will get VoLTE without any problems. Check out official forums. Tutorials are available there.

This are same with my problem... but i solve this via fastboot and miflash tool... flash the modem file redmi 2... the file is NON-HLOS.bin. and ur sim card will detected

volte patch in lenovo k4 note custom rom

somebody help plz i need an android n custom rom for my lenovo k4 note 3gb variant which have volte patch install.
what i think we can get the patch file from lenovo k4 note official volte firmware which is s232. anyone who can do it its a grt advantage the custom rom

The source code for volte is not released so I think developers are not able to fix it..
Plenty if nought roms are out but I haven't tasted a single yet as I'm on JIO (ported my main no.) so stuck can't afford lose my calling function..

same problem with me bro i am jio user and don't want to lose calling function that's why i am not ported any custom rom yet on my devices @Diu

I am new for redmi 3s

I had unlock the bootloader last 4 weeks flash treble twrp + RR 8.1 rom treble support.
So i need a help
Now i can't select any other data partition or flash any custom rom. (or module)
So i think i had encrypted my all data of twrp .
Now i want to go to the Miui pro rom 8.1 treble.
So how to flash .
Now i had heard one more thing latest miui .8.1.11 something firmware. ; what is that?
I need a big help from you guys from all that confusion .
I am using my own Lenovo zuk z2 plus.
But before i was using a redmi 3s .
So guys pls help

Do a factory reset to decrypt. And flash miui pro as per the procedure mentioned in the thread.

Move all of your data to sdcard, rom with android 8.1 or higher usually encrypted their data partititon after flashed, so you need to use sd card(as long your sd card is not encrypted and not formatted as internal) to flash from twrp or by sideload your rom via computer.
Keep backup your phone before flash, stay safe

Earlier I was using miui developer rom,
Than I Changed it to the miui pro 8.9.6 rom ,
That rom didn't supported VoLTE
Than I again flashed the miui lattest developer rom
Still I have problems of VoLTE
Pls tell how to fix VoLTE

Flash fastboot ROM & use that for a day.

VoLTE It's all depends on your phone carrier and your device, is it work on miui dev rom?
