Hi,
I lately bought bluetooth headphones and I didn't know about P9 lite audio bluetooth issues. Is there any way to fix this annoying distortion or should I just use jack. I have my phone rooted and viper4android installed.
(I know there was a seperate thread about this problem, but i couldn't find a solution there)

Hi, I just bought a couple of headphones for my flashed HTC HD2.
The problem is that it does not play music. After googling it is probably due to the fact that the headset does not support A2DP. (which is stereo playback)
Now my question is if there is any fix to play music anyway, without the A2DP feature in the headset)
I mean, I can hear calls etc. in the headphones.
Thanks!
Hi!
Unfortunatly A2DP is the only way to stream music from your phone to a bluetooth headset. I Google'd a bit and maybe it's good to check the Automatic Bluetooth Toggle Pro app, because it is possible of connecting to a2dp. I think (not sure) A2DP is standard available on the HD2 because it's an older technology.
Hello guys, I will try and keep this short and sweet.
I have tried connecting a headset to my tablet, sound plays through speakers still, not the earpiece.
Then I tried connecting a bluetooth headset, it says connect, yet it still is playing sound through speakers and not the earpiece.
Any ideas? I am on 4.2.2, could it be the rom/root?
Hi, i had the same issue today with bluetooth headset, but in my case when I tried to connect the headset in the jack, it worked well, I solved the bluetooth issue with deleting the bluetooth headset in settings then re-pairing it, I am with 4.2.2 too on stock non root nexus 7.
Its definitely software related.
I downloaded soundabout to force sound through the headset instead of speakers and now its working fine.
Hey p8 lite owners,
I have noticed that when playing audio/ music via Bluetooth to external speakers the sound output is extremely distorted & too "bassed". No issues with connection just bad sounding music.
Am rooted on marshmallow, unlocked bootloader. Anybody know how to fix the Bluetooth audio quality? Shame. This phone has a nice set of inbuilt speakers.
TIA
Issue seems to have resolved itself after a while.
What version of firmware are you running?
Hi,
Has anyone had any issues after connecting to some bluetooth audio devices where it shows paired but audio plays out the phone loudspeaker and not the bluetooth device?
The issue can be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting to said bluetooth device but it can be very frustrating or dangerous if driving. I've had it happen with a JBL Charge 2+, Logitech bluetooth receiver, and my car.
I'm wondering if anyone has been having or seen the same issue and if anyone might know how to resolve this.
Note: Running stock 7.0 on 5.2" zenfone 3.
Thanks in advance.

I have this problem too. I looked up this issue and found that it is a music file compression issue. This is not specific zenfone MP1, but could the case for any budget smartphones. i still haven't found a 100% solution to this, but I have rooted the phone, installed Viper4android and enabled FET compressor. It helps.
If anyone here on XDA can help with the issue, it will be much appreciated.
Agree happens with my innova crysta when I connect via Bluetooth and this issue is also found when I cast to my android TV.
