According to AIDA 64, Fingerprint manufacturer in my phone is
FPC /Goodix and model is FPC. I've installed Lineage OS 15.0 and my FP scanner isn't working. According to the ROM thread GOODIX FP is not working.
Go to settings>About Phone Tap four times on kernel version this will open CIT Select version information and you will find fingerprint vendor mentioned there. Welcome

That's easy to find.
Use terminal Emulator ~
getprop | grep goodix
And post the output here!

It is not possible to make oxygen os stable for any device other than oneplus because oxygen os is closed source and no one wants a sh***ty ROM which is full of bugs. So just don't ask..

Finally find the One Plus 5T Android Pie Based Oxygen OS for our Moto G5 Plus.
Almost all important options are working. Only some minor bugs
I dont know who is the developer for this ROM

A pie oos sgsi is out on telegram which has only few bugs:
1) NFC
2) FM Radio
3) Battery life is not so good.
4) Some OnePlus exclusive features don't work like alert slider, double tap to wake.
All major things work fine, plus, oos gestures are working.

Hey Dev, Thanks for your Oxygen os. Because I love the oxygen experience.
But have some bugs i mentioned below..
1. Camera can't startsup and can't takes any shot.. I tried to use default app and some other third party apps like YouCam Perfect, B16 and Gcam. Everything is doesn't works.
2. Gallery bug. I mean the default gallery didn't show any photos and videos. And I also tried third party Gallery apps. And it shows same result.
3. Already you said, The face unlock bug...
That's it Dev.

my earpiece speaker is not working after flashing
Why is the Fingerprint scanner on AOSP bad? Is there a specific rom that has a well working FPS?
In asoip switching kernel helped. In omni 9 and 10 works perfectly.
Short answer: there's no source code from OnePlus, Lineage had to create its own HAL using phhusson HAL as a base, and the phhusson HAL is created based on the reverse engineering of a Xiaomi HAL.

Has anyone found a twrp loadable rom that is completely stable ie camera bluetooth etc all work properly, and which powers off completely on power off as its supsoed to.. im running aicp its slow and I have to remove the battery if i want it to power down and not drain the battery

originally the camera froze the note 4 often however now this fault has clared itself !! how
The only problems now are, battery runs down when powered off from shutdown screen (its not the battery) and no volte which Idoubt the note 4 samsung can do
So I hope this hellps others looking for a stable custom rom for samsung snapdragon note 4

You will need the the Trite rom for the note 4f here is the link. use the latest build Hope this helps also use the g apps in this thread
