firmware finder is on my phone! how can i use a download manager on my pc when im downloading on my phone???!!!!
I have the same problem I have updated to nougat with a fullota-mf file without a problem.
But there's a new update with security patches ota-mf that keeps donwolading ending, adding another patch and this forever.

Share the link to your mail and download to PC.

where is the link? i can't find any download link in firmware finder. there is just a button and when i tap on it, the download will start.

So i've flashed OptimusRs's rom yesterday and i made a mistake by not flashing it with the costume recovery he gave on his theard.
now I'm able to get into my phone but i have no signal from my network operator at all.
i tried to flash a kdz via download mode and it won't work it says in the LGM support tools that my phone has the latest version and won't let me upgrade it.
i can't flash to another ROM because there's no costume rec for KK just yet.
what do i do?

have you tried the offline method to flash kdz because lg made it so there tool will not let you downgrade while connected to internet

In the guide in the link provided use method 2;
"Method 2. edit host file

2 . Add this line at the end of the document:
127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com
3. Save hosts file
4. Install msxml (you can find it in the downloaded KDZ_FW_UPD_EN folder)
5. Start http in the shttps folder
6. Start Windows Enabler and turn it on (system tray!)
7. Start UpTestEX_mod2_marwin
8. Flash your .kdz as you normally would"

I've tried this method after i failed with the first one, i turned my network off and it keep telling me i need a network in order to use lgms tool
and when my network is on it keep open the lgms tool and tells me that my phone is up to date and nothing else happens i mean it doesn't open the "select country and langauage" window.

What is the version you have for LG Mobile Support Tool?
To go back to stock, open LG Mobile Support Tool and from tools/options select Update Recovery.

I have version 1.6.9.0 running on my sister's laptop and it works, while on mine it is the same as your's so probably the problem is because of this new release. I can't seem to find a way to go back.

After my P8lite was stolen I've bought another one. Both devices are ALE-L21 and use the B185 build. However, I've found out that the new phone doesn't support as much languages (both for the interface and the keybord) as the previous one, including Swedish which I want to use.
Any suggestions how to install another language pack?

download a "standard" firmware, unzip, put in dload folder (on internal memory or sd card) from updater do a local update.

I did what you suggested. Downloaded build ALE-L21C432B188, loaded it to the memory card and ran "local update". After the phone restarted and "installed" the update, nothing happened! I'm just still stuck with the original firmware with no changes.
Any suggestions? Is it that maybe the builds are not compatible with each other for some reason (I can't find any other local update packs though)? Should I do a downgrade first then (if it's possible without a factory reset)?

You need ALE-L21POLC150Bxxx where xxx is 185 (the same) or upper (newer).
B188 it's not a full update, try with C432B170 or C432B171; if it's present a folder named cust or custom do it first (rename folder dload and do a local update )

Using a ALE-L21POLC150Bxxx build probably wouldn't solve my problem because it looks like it is a Polish version without the Swedish language option.
Do you think C432B170 would work for me without factory reset (because it is a downgrade)?
I received notification for new update,i download it 100%(new version ale-l21c432b170,size 1.2gb) and then it run a a check and show me the notification "package checksum error"

Why don't you manually update(through SD card) your phone to Android 6.0 emui 4.0.

Download firmware from here(https://goo.gl/R2gF1L) Extract it. There will be dload folder in it. Put it in SD card. Now go in dialer and type *#*#2846579#*#*. Now press software upgrade and the sdcard upgrade and then click ok. Phone will restart and update will start.

Download is 1,25gb. after instalation plenty of app mising and bluethut wont work. i cant go on firmware finder to download other update, becaose in app wright no internet conections. Installed FF again for you to show you but I see that FF has an updated version which shows the 1.9gb by default without making some changes in the settings.

Maybe its just the things you are missing, I dont know.
Tested on non-rooted KIW-L22 Indian version. Using this method successfully updated from B370 to B381. For manually update your firmware without root just follow the instructions........
1. Download and install Firmware Finder from play store.
2. Open Firmware Finder. Click on menu or swipe left ? edge to right. Click on settings and check "use proxy for install". Now wait for sometimes for downloading the proxy apps.
3. After downloading proxy apk, install it and open. Now close it.
4. Open Firmware Finder. Click on refresh icon at lower right ? corner. You will find various package for your device. (My base firmware was B370 so I clicked on B381. Coz it was latest firmware for my device.). Now click on the latest package depending on your base firmware and download it.
5. When download finished go to phone settings. If you're using WiFi network then go to the WiFi and click and hold on the connected network name. And click forgot network. Now again click on that network name and connect. It will asks for password. Enter your password then click on advanced options. And type port : 8080, server : localhost. After typing click on connect.
If you are using mobile network then go to the phone settings and click on more. Then click on mobile network>access point names. Now edit into your apn and type localhost in Proxy and 8080 in Port. Save the apn.
6. Open Firmware Finder. Click on refresh icon and click on the package name which you have downloaded. Then click on "Send firmware to updater". Wait, till Firmware Finder Proxy opens.
7. Now minimize everything. GO to phone settings, scroll down and touch on "UPDATE". You'll see a new firmware package available for your device. Just click on QUICK UPDATE and download. Wait for 10 - 15 seconds, then pause the download.
8. Now open file manager and go to the internal storage. Scroll down and open HWFF >null. You'll find "update.zip" file here. Copy it and go back. Scroll down to HwOUC folder. Open the folder, you'll find another folder in it which starts with some digit. Open it and paste the copied update.zip file here. (there are already a update.zip file in it, during paste it shows do you want to replace? Just click yes).
9. Go to phone settings. Scroll down and open UPDATE. THEN resume download. It will show 100%. Reboot your device and update.

But todays otas never involve anything with otp , they have dual verification, one with updater app and then recovery verifies the data given by updater ,later followed by installation

I know this post is a year old, and thanks for your effort. If an update, even older one is available though, wouldn't it eventually be pushed to the update app on a stock phone without doing this? I ask because I just got my husband's L24 factory reset on B331 and it then received a D003 cust ota update.... though it is dated from 2016.
