[APP] Google Camera with HDR+

Hi
Did any one try and can confirm that ported Google Camera with HDR+ works also on Xiaomi Mi5 ?

It works perfectly, on AOSP.

Also on lineage based ROMs (RR). Though I use stock gapps, keep in mind.

Hdr+ feature did it job. But i noticed that selfie is inverted using the G camera

which version? have you made something special?

On Xiaomi.eu it works by default. It may be related with camera API v2 which is enabled in this ROM.

Disable any app called "camera" before install.

Is camera API v2 enabled by default on AOSPA? or do I have to do something to enable it?

Google Camera Port With all working *A520F*!!!

Hi all!
I found on the web a version of Google Camera that works perfect on A5 2017.
You don't have to change anything in settings. Just download and install It.

To many bugs....the app force closes.

Yep, with Oreo doesn't work (Tryed on LineageOS 15.1 A5 2017).

Try now, I have updated the link with the latest version. Try different setting (No Portrait ZSL mode, No portrait initial zoom, e other settings different than Pixel II).

I did but its even worse...or i didnt downloaded the right app or i dont kno to make the settings. It 's lagging..when i move the phone and it's very dark...the exposure ...comparative to the stock camera.

Than idk why, i know only It works pretty good on LineageOS 14.1 unofficial build.

Hey, are you on LOS 15.1 Unofficial? I tried the ROM around 2 weeks ago. I cant make any calls as the dialer freezes, requiring a reboot. Also randomly the system UI restarts. How is your experience with the ROM? Thank you.

It works really good for me, i have installed the full gapps 8.1 zip from the official site. I don't use it bcs bluetooth doesn't work and I have to use it to connect my phone with my car.

I flashed both mindthegapps and Gapps pico...but I had reboot and unable to call issues. So does it mean I have to flash full Gapps? Did u have any call issues, freezing or any major or minor bugs apart from BT?

Now that Redmi 3s got official Lineage 15.1 my Google Camera port crashes and I cannot find working version.
Does anyone know is there any proper version available?

Camera2API is enabled, checked with Camera2_probe.
I was using GCam_5.1.018_by_SerJo87_1.6RC1 on Lineage 14.1 but it does not work with 15.1 anymore, crashes before it even starts.

For best experience use tolygon gcams they output photos are amazing

Was it enabled by default or did you enable it on your own? I am on LOS 15.1 by e/ foundation and no matter what I try I just can't get Camera2API enabled. Build.prop modification,Magisk modules,ADB etc. None work.
Nevermind. Got it working after flashing a more recently updated Magisk module.

Guys can we clearly mention Which custom ROM's Does the Pixel 3 Camera ? mod (working Night Sight) by Arnova8G2 Work? And Specifically which Build?
I have tried it on first Official Build of Pixel Experience ROM and it did work a few bugs here and there tough the Night Sight worked really well.
I also had the Pixel2Mod V8.3b1 Camera for my regular use and Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled mod for Night Mode as they have different package names.
Lets us find out the best Stable PIE ROM(With Fast Charging as well) + Pixel 3 based Night sight enabled Camera Mod Combo and keep posting updates.

So far the custom pie roms that work with pixel 3 camera 6.1 debug2 by @Arnova8G2 on Asus x00td 4/64 variant base on my experience are:
- Pixel Experience
- Liquid Remix
- Havoc
- XenonHD
- AEX official
- Frankenrom
Night sight work
front camera result become green but if I took photo with front camera outdoor with daylight it works fine

Did u uninstall previous build b4 install the 2nd debug version?
I cleared storage of the previous build b4 uninstall, then install debug2 version and work

I didn't have any previous versions. Even beta1 and 2 can't be installed. Does it have to do anything with the Gapps version installed?? I have installed full version. What have you installed??

To fix the green tint

Can you please tell as to why the app fails to install on costomer roms installed with open Gapps stock or full version? Rather other than mini version? Also could you please fix the installation error?

use a root file explorer, delete the files /System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and /System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml.

I am on AEX 6.0 android 9.0
If i install open Gapps mini with the ROM the app installs but with any other higher set of Gapps the installer fails.

Gcam stable for android 10?

I need a stable gcam for android 10, tried many and most of them get stuck on the "hdr processing" part.

I've had no problems with Arnova's 6.2.030 v2.2 which you can get from the link to the list of his downloads your can get from this post
