For Locked Bootloader:
IMPORTANT CONDITION:
For USERS using Global Stable ROM, use Mi Flash Tool to flash fastboot ROM to China Stable ROM, AND ONLY USE Updater App to update to China Developer ROM.
For USERS using Global BETA ROM, use Mi Flash Tool to flash to Global Stable ROM, and follow by Condition No.1.
For USERS already on China Developer ROM, OTA will be pushed accordingly to your device, as and when it is available or manually go to Updater App and Check for updates.
For Unlocked Bootloader:
For USERS on ANY ROM, use Mi Flash Tool to flash fastboot ROM, DIRECTLY to China Developer ROM.

So i am on global stable rom with locked bootloader... What i have to do to flash this rom.
I have downloaded fastboot rom of miui 8
Flashing China stable Rom from mi flash tool then flashing fastboot miui 8 via mi flash tool or updater app?

any method to root miui 8 without unlocking bootloader? I got only About root access under security tool.

Coming from China DEV Rom, and flashing via TWRP -any need to wipe data?
Will TWRP be lost?

in that About root access screen theres an option to enable root

While flashing using miflash gives me unspecified error (0xfffffff) something like this

IT IS IN RUSSIAN;)
ALSO DOWNLOAD THE LAST ONE IT IS LATEST WITH MINIMUM BUGS. Click on that folder a pop-up appears having blue button click to download it.
STEPS:
1. WIPE and factory reset.
2.Install it.
3. It will take time, but waiting is getting and it will self reboot.
4. Don't panic it will show mi logo only.
5. Wait for 1 min.
6. Then power off the phone [ Press power button for 7 sec ]
7. It will boot again, now something different it will again show mi logo after that it show a loader at bottom of your screen it will be Russian.
8. wait for sometime and :good:
9. Here comes MIUI8.
Working:
Everything ( Except music player crashes sometime)
I am using it from last 4 days no problem.

Sometimes it is recommended to wipe dalvik/art cache, cache, system and data.

I'm on 8.0 stable 8.0.2.0, how do I multitasking?
Edit- got it found it in the home button settings, and camera is not clear in low lights unlike flyme and please resolve the heating issue, overall a great ROM

Mi max 3 miui 10 port android pie based only for mido
This is not my build. I took it from Telegram. Backup your internal memory first and use treble enabled recovery.
Note: Password For Zip File : 1008611 (if this port file ask for password at the time of extracting then use if not asking then not use.
Flashing instruction:
1-Extract it to recovery (twrp) folder
2- then going to recovery
3-wipe dalvik &cache , system , data,vendor and cache
4-And then go to restore option and restore miui 10 Mi max 3 pie port.
Note: Install google services via attached file.
Instructions took from "Mido oreo & pie based miui 10" telegram group.
Note: Not need extra file like vendor , boot already included in pie mi max 3 port
How to get the Google contact sync work on miui 10 mi max 3 port
1) Grant all the permissions to Google play services and Google contact sync
2) Download Google contacts app from play store and open and start sync
3) Go to miui dialer settings and select configure contact lists
4) Select Google
Bugs list in mi max 3 pie port for mido:
1- hotspot not working
2- torch not working but flashing light on camera working fine
3- Button backlit not working
But is not a big bugs for initial build it will be fix.

I don't know. I'm going to hospital so I couldn't flash it. It's closed beta China. Probably doesn't have all languages. You should try.

Installed and tested this rom. Rom is very smooth, apart from the above bugs,Double touch to wake is also missing, fingerprint wake is also not working

If you want to login your account you should flash mi globe or epic rom lile stock rom and turn on find device feature.

Rom is not multilanguage. Boot time is fast.

You can flash Franco kernel or other kernels top of it. I tried it worked.

I HAVE A PROBLEM！Im installed your ROM but i wonted to update my global version of MIUI ROM, and now i have problem vith my google apps. they dont work! I realised that this is a CN version of ROM. I downloaded a global 9.6.2 bersion, but when I try to install it in twrp recovery mode, after installation is over, it starts to rise a sistem but when its show MI sign on a screen its restarts over and over.
PLEASE HELP

Download Mi flash tool, download fastboot rom and flash it thru it.
Or download another build of mn3 rom and flash it thru twrp.
Or... Wipe everything in twrp and restart it might boot.
