So I rolled back from a custom rom back to marshmallow to do a clean update to nougat on my phone, after updating the build number changed, I read that you need to flash oem.info for this but I can't seem to find any links for the version of my phone. Any kind of help would be great.

Hi all.
I've been browsing here for XT1572 stock firmware, but I'm not getting much.
Is there anywhere or any thread that is updated with XT1572 firmware?
I'm running the May 2016 6.0 build, but the last flashable firmware I have is the February 2016 build. I like to keep all the stock firmwares at hand for future use. And I'm not sure if I can "downgrade" to a previous release in case I need to update again - since I'm running TWRP etc.
I just need English, so any UK ROM or EU ROM should be fine.
So it would be great to have a place to get these files, but it seems the XT1575 if getting the most love.

Sorry, should have read more closely. I'm not sure that thread I linked has the most recent update, but if you flash everything in it, it should get you back to a point where you can ota to the most recent stock system.
Im looking to downgrade back to marshmallow from android N. Im looking at the factory images and not sure what the difference is between them. There is 6.0.1 (MTC20L) there all the same but have different letters at the end of them does that matter? Just looking for the latest version of MM . Thanks
They are listed sequentially from oldest to the newest. If you were going to flash MM, MTC20L would be the newest. Keep in mind you will not have any of the security updates issued after that ROM was released, and you will be nagged to update to the latest 7.1.1 release.
HI. I run android 6.0.1 and want to downgrade to android 5 dure the bad quality of the epd resolution on marshmallow. I know I need to be in 4.4.3 and then upgrade to 5.0 to achieve lollipop, but read in the forum I would break the phone if I flash to 4.4.3 once I flash to marshmallow, because the bootloader changed .
So, if there isn't a FOTA of lollipop it means I can't run it no more?
You can also flash the bootloader, and I am pretty sure that you don't need to go to 4.4.3 first. You can just directly flash lollipop. Lollipop and MM don't have a different bootloader by the way.
I know because I when MM was still in testing phase, I switched back to lollipop first before upgrading to the official MM release.
That being said, a lot of stuff can go wrong if you start flashing while not completely knowing what you are doing and there are no completely foolproof programs or guides for the yotaphone out there.
If you wanna go at it anyway, you can start with the links below for info and firmware files.

Grts
Yeah that's great to know, but thats why I ask about the tioe of firmwares, because, if I am right, I can flash a FOTA but not a OTA of a lower version coming from a newer one.
Which lollipop firmware did you flashed?
As you say, I want to understand it before maybe bricking it

I flashed the ru 124 firmware. Someone uploaded all firmware files here:

Downside is that you have to download everything even though you probably just want 1 of the firmware files.
For your convenience, I uploaded my lollipop firmware files here along with the needed software and drivers and a bat script to flash it all:

Hello!
Disclaimer before I get scolded. I did search the forums and I read a lot of posts, I just feel like none answer my question specifically.
What I did: I used to run custom MiFavor ROM. I wanted to return stock and get the latest OTA, so using the Axon 7 Toolbox, I returned to stock using the: A2017G_B10_FULL_EDL.zip; this ROM refused to update, every time it would fine an OTA, but it failed to apply it in recovery.
I downloaded a system image from the ZTE website named: ZTE A2017GV1.2B05
When I try to search for updates, this one reports that it's "up to date"
My questions:
1. There was an update for the german version of A2017G. Will my romanian version ever get updated? How come some counties get updates while others do not since we don't depend on a carrier to approve the update?
2. Is it true that the G version will never be upgraded to android 8? I noticed some people said we will never get the MiFavor 5. Is it possible to get Oreo and stay on MIFavor 4.2?
3. I noticed a post today that the chinese version got upgraded to MiFavor 5.x/Android 8. Is there any way to convert my A2017G to chinese version for the sake of having all features?
PS As you might have noticed, I am a bit obsessed with having the latest version installed. Any tip/advice on what is the best course of action for me would be greatly appreciated.
G model will get Oreo just not in 2017 as Zte reps said they need to work on it more,
Android Oreo,it has proven buggy so they wanted to take more time work on it.
Updating is a hassle yes, you need certain type of update file, on certain types of rom updated on certain type of way.
but there are instructions for that so no worries.
thats all i can say
if this was helpfull in any way, smack that Thanks button
Cheers!
German B08 is the latest Nougat for A2017G. You should be on at least B10 MM first, then put the zip on SD card, go to update in settings and it should show the update ready to go. Hit the button to flash it.
There is a newer B11 MM rom too. I think it can also be used to roll back to MM from N.

Any full zip is okay to roll back to M, the B11 zip has that name simply to differentiate from incremental OTAs and such stuff.
Plus B11 was only for Spain, didn't differ much from B10
Hello.

I came across a problem and I do not know where to look for the problem. I made an update to the latest Oreo with security from September, after some time I decided to return to CivZ (Custom Stock with security from May). After uploading Backup by TWRP, I noticed that IMEI disappeared.
Next steps chronologically:
1. I flash Custom Nougat IMEI None
2. I've flash Custom Oreo with May's IMEI was missing
3. I uploaded the latest Custom Stock IMEI was wisible
4. I uploaded the latest Official Stock IMEI was wisible

Colleague was recommended that I need to flash Stock Nougat because "incompatible radio (baseband)", so yesterday I downloaded the last version of Nougat but when trying to flashOdin I came across a problem like on the screenshots. I have no idea what's next, according to Google this is a bootloader problem, but I do not know how to upload an older soft one.
I've notice that I can't upgrade or downgrade with custom rom. Resulting blank IMEI. So I have to back to official, upgrade or downgrade official, then custom.
You've come from official oreo then downgrade to custom nougat resulting blank IMEI.
Try official oreo, official nougat, then custom nougat.
If you cannot downgrade from official to official then it's locked. You have no choice but to stay on oreo.
I was try to flash Oreo with security patches from August and Odin also Fail
