Hello
I am having this error in my phone: Failed to mount /efs (invalid argument).
Since then, i cant load any rom and it doesn't go from the Samsung boot logo.
I tryed using combination files, stock roms and nothing seems to do it.
When i use the combination files its stuck with the message "rpmb provisioned"
And i dont have any backup...
Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: SM-G935F
Best regards.
Try installing the stock rom via Smart Switch (or Kies).

Keep flashing stock roms from latest to oldest, one should work. As long as you can enter download mode, you are still good. Just keep trying firmwares nougat to marshmallow different releases

I was wondering if anyone has a link to the stock at t s7 edge g935a kernel when I backed mine up it seams to be corrupt any help would be great the kernel that you use use to root really lags my phone bad or even suggest a kernel that is for the att version
I have not seen one. I would just backup your phone on PC using SmartSwitch and then re-flash your firmware of choice and then restore from your SmartSwitch backup.
I tried flashing to stock as suggested now I get dm-verity verification failed and when I try to flash again it says model mismatch?

Are you sure your flashing the right rom for your model number? Grand prime has many variants with different chipsets so be sure to check it is compatible with your device

Don't play those things if u can't unbootlop dude! Always do some Research if something goes wrong!
1. Download your firmware from SamMobile (you have to be logged to do it)
2. Download odin
3. Download samsung kies and install it
4. Open odin DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN OPTIONS, click AP choose downloaded firmware file
5. Go to bootloader: Hold POWER + VOLUMEDOWN + HOME until phone reboot and ull see monit, press volume up then
6. Connect device to computer while in bootloader be shure connection works
7. U should see connected on Odin output, click start then
8. Reboot
Hello,
I've been trying for 4 days now to make my phone work but in vain. I have tried over 50 times to install different versions of genuine android firmwares 4.4.4, 5.0.1, 6.0.1 (ORO, DBT, CNX..etc)
My main mistake I think is that I tried to put a fresh new 6.0.1 software from samsmobile and ugpraded from ORO to DBT without adding a PIT file, and gave me some kind of error in Odin. (something with partition too big. I can't remember it) I tried to put back the software before but nothing. It gets stuck in bootloop, I can enter in recovery, but can't do nothing. Can't format or repair anything with TWRP. Here are the photos attached

I used Odin3 v3.12.3.
philz_touch_6.59.0-trltexx-coi3
twrp-2.8.7.0-trltexx.img
Use twrp :
Go to wipe/advanced wipe and select repair or change file system .
You will have to change your file system or you can try the repair options .
First tick all the partions and the select repair .
Then you can flash any Rom.
Reporting Via N910G
I have tried, but in vain. I posted those pictures, right after i tried to repair and to format. It fails and gives the mount failed error..
Has anybody any idea?
Flash The recovery firmware .
Search on Google for " tsar3000 recovery firmware " .
There is also a xda thread , but i dont have the link.

Live demo units are so limited and so far from being a real phones, your phone model is i9505X, so it's not i9505 and so, you won't be able to flash custom ROM on it.

I read your message very well, just "i9505 demo" seems complicating, as the live demo version of the i9505 is the i9505X that's all what i was saying, so if you're sure you have a i9505 phone, then it's not demo.
Back to your problem:
1-what recovery are you using? If TWRP then what version?
2-what rom did you try to flash? And what did you wipe before flashing?

Ok, what TWRP are you using? you should flash android 6 or 7 with the latest TWRP 3, not with an older version, also for stock rom you should download it from a trusted site like sammobile.com, or samsung-firmware.org, other than those i wouldn't recommend, and use Odin 3.07 or 3.09, those versions works for everyone.

In advanced wipe menu, Mark the system partition, then press the button at the bottom that says "repair or change file system", and choose EXT4 then format the system, and see if that works, if it didn't work, try doing the same for /data and /cache partitions.

OK, last suggestion is, download the most latest firmware for your phone from sammobile.com and flash it with Odin, and then try the twrp flashing thing again.
Maybe you have an old bootloader.

Hi Guys,
I got a SM-G935F from a friend to repair it.
During the night, the phone got into bottscreen (Samsung) and the blue LED always flashed.
The Phone is on Oreo.
Now I took Odin 3.13 and the last firmware from SamMobile.
I only can flash BL and CP, they passed.
When I will flash AP, it stucks at "System" and after a while it stops with Fail. When it reboots in Recovery, I got error messages, see picture.
Question:
Does the Flash got an hard issue or is it a software bug?
Hope somebody can help...
Pretty sure its a software issue. Try to wipe data and see if that works. If it doesn't work, install TWRP and make a backup then wipe system, data, and cache. Then try to flash the firmware.
try another cable

no matter what I flashed or tryed no chance to get a complete software on it.
