I bought a new one plus 2 and it ask me if i wanna to update the the new Oxygen 2.1.2.
Did it worth it? i mean if this update improve some things or its not stable as the version before?

Honestly, the answer is not that simple. For me like many people, it improved stability and camera performance. But many also stated, that it was buggier than 2.1.1. I would say, see for yourself. At least it should not have any major downsides, except for the starting a phone call when it will not remember the last SIM you used.

For me it is the only reason I switched back to oxygen from hydrogen. It is much smoother for me and I haven't had any issues with stability.
Hey guys, this phone seems really appealing but I'm struggling to find reliable reviews of it. Currently undecided between this and that Oneplus 5... Anyone in a similar situation or have an opinion to share?
Well - in terms of specs this phone is really appealing, but don't know if they are gonna release a global version of the device.
I am in the same situation
regarding the love that the rom creators will bring in, i think that the oneplus will be the better choice, but i like the nubia and it's specs.
Plus, the price is unbeatable.
Haha yeah, I don't think there'll be much ROM support for the Nubia Z17, but already a few weeks or so after release they've pushed out a new OTA update, as well as updates for other phones. Hopefully they'll be well supported with Android O :/

I used the Honey extension on Chrome and that saved me £20! It doesn't tell me what the code is unfortunately, so can't post it here for any that are interested.
I checked the bands/frequencies and it covers the UK ones I require, and it's a 'worldwide' model. It just seems a bit strange to me that even on the Nubia/ZTE site it's not on there. But I'm gonna go for it...
Plus those edge control gestures seem to actually be loads better than the Samsung and HTC U11 ones... Correct me if I'm wrong though!

£350 (not £20 in the end, just £10)
I have one and it's beautiful. Build and feel of the device is amazing. Problem is there is no Google Play/Framework support yet and no root or TWRP. So I'm pretty much waiting. I hear some suppliers are shipping them with global ROM's with Google support.
If anyone can link me to a Global ROM it would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to fully utilize this beast!

Haven't done any comprehensive testing with it yet. But from my short time with it, it's really nice and has some cool features. I always enjoy Nubia's camera software suite.

Not that I have seen. I check out the Nubia forums daily to see if there's any development

Is using z17, the only trouble I am now can not unlock bl and root, I look forward to be able to use the original android rom, nubia ui really hard to use
Does anyone think it's weird that there aren't many reviews and basically no xda forum on the Z17? Is it just because it's mainly confined to China for now (despite there being a global version available to buy/import online)? Kinda starting to question my purchase now XD

It's still a very new phone. Forum pages on here take a while to spin up for rare Chinese phones. Things will slowly begin to develop and trickle in.

When you hide the navigation bar, you slide up from the bottom to get it back when you need it.

Yeah. It shows as 7.0 -- all of the specs show up wrong. This is true with prerelease builds on other Huawei phones as well.
Anyway, if you're not convinced, here's notification snoozing and picture-in-picture settings.

I use to be a "gotta have it now" and would flash pretty much any rom that came along, when I had the Dell Streak 5, and the Galaxy Note (1). Since I got the Mate 2, then the 8, then the 9, I haven't flashed anything but OEM official builds, haven't even bothered to root or screw with it.
For me, my experience with Huawei, their roms have been so stable, I haven't had the urge to jack around with it. I don't mind you guys doing it though, makes it easier for us old timers that don't want to bother with it anymore.

Me too. There really isn't anything else for the Mate if you wanted to flash at least officially or on here. But yeah, I can't really think of anything I want that it doesn't already have. Nothing I could really improve. I thought I was all 100% for the Pixel 2 but now I'm thinking Mate 10!

Of course, everything I want but even faster and longer lasting. Less body to screen ratio is always welcome too. Tmobile's new 600 mhz support would also be great.
I would want Wireless charging, then I would upgrade to the Mate 10, if not I will keep my Mate 9.
I would like to get a current Security patch though

The kernel version is showing as 3.10.20-20436-468, built on Sep 14. Security patch is September 5. Whether or not it's reported correctly, I don't know.
I'm not really using it as a daily driver, but it does feel a little bit different. Some of it may be because of Android O, some of it may be because of EMUI 6. It seems smoother, but that's so objective.
Drain seems better than before, but I haven't done an actual scientific comparison.
I've not yet found anything major to like or hate.
Some other people are installing this build now, so hopefully they will chime in with their opinions.

Hi guys im planing to buy Asus pro m1 on current flipkart sale,since 4/64GB version is just rs 8500 its steal,but after reading most reviews,this phone looks like have lots of problem,my question is will this problems (touch lag,poor camera,poor battery performance) can be avoidable with custom ROMs? Or its hardware related problems? And finally can u guys also give me link to latest recovery which can backup data without problem? Thank you so much,all answers appreciated
Buy the phone right now. It is the best deal you will ever get and replace Stock ROM with your choice of Custom ROM. It is hardware wise a great phone. Or you could spend some more and get a Realme 3 or Redmi Note 7s.

As far as I can remember it only goes up to Balanced but with GFX tools you can run it on High. I personally haven't played PUBG for a few months now.
I would recommend AEX (some customisation) or Pixel XP (most stable) for Custom ROMs in terms of performance.
You can get 6/64 variant from 2GUD at 9k only :angel:
