For the last 2 weeks, mobile Data will not work on my phone once I leave a wifi connection unless I toggle Airplane mode.
I have not been able to find any answers to this for the Galaxy S8 on google, so does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
My carrier is Cricket and my S8 model is SM-950U1 factory unlocked

I have had this issue off and on over time. I have the Unlock Verizon S7 edge on the Verizon network.
Sometimes when I use the phone I can do all functions normally while on a call.
Sometimes I'll do the same and the data is completely gone I will get no 3g or LTE on the phone while on a call. Once I hang up all the data will come back and this will continue with any on going calls until I restart the phone.
Only suspicion I have is it has to something with Pokemon Go after I use it. But can't confirm.
Anyone else having the same issue ?
Hi, I'm on TMobile.
My cellphone WiFi calling was working for a month since I got the phone. Somehow one day last week, I found out my phone doesn't turn on wifi calling anymore. I usually use airplane mode at home with WiFi calling.
I went into setting and found the setting is stuck at enabling. I've tried clear the cache, reboot, turning on off WiFi and airplane mode, reset network setting.
The last thing I want to do is wipe the phone. I've called TMobile and they claimed I need a new sim card.
Does anyone have similar experience and know how to solve it?
Any input will be appreciated!

I have bought this at&t galaxy s7 edge from China (it's an refurbished phone), It work well but, after a few days I decided to flash a 7.0 android firmware with odin..
after that, I saw a lot of problems, like the mobile data toggle disappeared.
so I decided to downgrade to 6.0.1 and I had the same problem, I haven't the mobile data toggle..
and in the mobile network menù , I haven't the "network mode" so I can't switch from only 4g lte to 3g for example, how is it possible ?
a friend has bought the same refurbished phone like mine, he don't upgraded it and he has the mobile data toggle and network mode.
how can chineses put the data toggle in an at&t phone without root and void Knox?
is it possible to do by myself?

I have a sim card from Russian MTS operator that has wifi calling, but charges roaming as soon as their sim registers on a cell network.
Occasionally I need to use that sim to receive one time passcodes while paying for utilities bills in Moscow.
Initially, I wanted to put Russian sim into Airplane mode + Wifi and have Mint Mobile sim have full access to 4g while in use, but I understand that's not possible.
So I'd have to deactivate Russian sim and when I want to use it, Id put phone into airplane mode+wifi, activate Russian sim and let it connect to MTS via WIFI , when I'm done I'll disable it and thats how it will work?
Just turn off roaming mode for Russian MTS simcard. You don't need to use airplane mode.
Airplane mode is cutting cellular signal so the signal is not interference the plane for safety which mean no cellular data as well.

I'm using a Oneplus 6T and am traveling a lot.
After taking a call, the mobile data doesn't auto connect. I have to turn airplane mode on and off a few time, which is far from ideal.
This happens on both Sim cards (one Belgian and the other Romanian).
This doesn't happen on my Samsung j7 duos.
I've contacted oneplus but their fix didn't do anything. (clear the cache from the start up menu)
Does anyone know of an app that auto pings the connection after a call, or some other way to fix this?
