Porting a root possibilty from S6 to S5 ?

Hello Guys!
I found a thread on xda where was explained how to root S6 on Android 5.1 without triggering Knox with a development BL.
My Question: Would it be possible to "port" the needed files to S5 ?
As far as I know there's still no way to root Android 5 S5 without triggering Knox & Downgrading........
Here's a link to the mentioned thread:

Knox resetting bootloader for Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos?

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a knox resetting bootloader for Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos,
like for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3? I've read that there is a way to reset the knox from 0x1 to 0x0 for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in this post :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52329946#post52329946 with a bootloader,so I was wondering If there is a knox resetting bootloader for the Galaxy S5 Duos (SM-
G900FD)?
And is this protocol for resetting the knox from this site : http://mobilexbi.blogspot.mk/2015/02/reset-knox-counter-any-samsung-device.html?m=1 true ???
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!
There are some devices running a combo of a specific SoC/older version of knox that *can* be reset.....Unfortunately this does NOT apply to ANY variant of the S5.
Having read through the guide on your final link, I can say with utter confidence that the method described is purely the method for flashing a stock firmware and has absolutely no effect on knox whatsoever......
If you trip knox on an S5, it's gonna stay tripped....forever....

Dear keithross39,
firstly I would like to thank you for replying to my thread!
And I have one more question:Can Triangleaway somehow help me
p.s And I've read in some posts that some custom roms or recoveries can revert knox to 0x0.Is this true?
And I have an idea:Can the knox be installed and then reinstalled?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!
Sorry fella....triangle away has nothing to do with knox.....All it does is remove the yellow triangle that appears after rooting and flashing custom software.....as I said in my previous reply, once knox has been tripped, it remains tripped no matter what you flash to the device. The knox counter (according to Chainfire) is hardware based in that it is an 'eFuse' buried somewhere inside one of the 'chips' on the device. When people talk about 'tripping' knox, they are essentially describing this eFuse being 'blown' which is why it can't be reset.
You could flash any/every conceivable combination of rom/kernel/bootloader/app etc continuously for the next 10 years, and it won't make a scrap of difference when it comes to trying to reset knox.......

Need help rooting Grand Prime G530W on 5.1.1 without tripping KNOX.

Mods, please move this to the forum/place where this thread belong.
Anyway, I tried to root my Grand Prime G530W on Android Lollipop 5.1.1. I used KingoRoot, which returned 0x1a3faf after hanging on 90%. KingRoot also fails. I really want to root it without tripping knox, as I don't want to permanently trigger an e-fuse (i am seriously scared about doing anything I can't undo) and I won't be able to unroot and use KNOX if I ever want to. This is my 3rd time rooting any device (Nexus 5 using CF-Auto-Root and Galaxy S2 using CWM and TWRP recovery) so you don't need to explain to me the concept of rooting. Can someone please post a method on how to root my Grand Prime G530W on Lollipop 5.1.1 without tripping KNOX? Thanks.

Is Knox flag/triger (0x0) can lock Samsung Knox application if it is (0x1)

Hi !
I have a Galaxy S5 with Knox flag (0x0), my question is if I flash it and I trig it to (0x1) can I still use Samsung Knox application ?
Is it linked or, is the flag is only for the warranty ?
I'm looking for rooting a 4.4.2 with keeping Knox (0x0) but towelroot don't support G900FD, do you have an other software ?
Thanks in advance
Have a good day
Why kitKat? is far beyond from outdated in 2019
Towelroot never worked in versions above android 2.3
any tiny modification will cause the system fingerprint to change, even if your warranty still says 0x0, so it will eventually fail
android nowadays has a lot of security stuff, keep that in mind, samsung dropped knox support
Sorry for the respond time.
Thanks.
Kitkat, to keep Samsung rom.
I have change now !
