I have a Note 4 N910G version whose motherboard recently died. I am planning to buy a new one from aliexpress but im not getting the G version.
The ones in stock are
N910F
N910T
N910C
N910A
N910P or V
Which one would be compatible with mine?

HI.. i am using lg g2 from past six months and it is working flalwlessly .. but suddenly today a black line apperaed on right side of my screen .. i have reebooted my phone but unable to slove the problem .. does any one has a fix for this ... it would be a great help . thanks in advance .

Hello[emoji4], it appears that you may have a defective digitizer that may need to be replaced, there was probably a error that was missing while your particular model was being assembled in the assembly line, to look for digitizers, go to www.etradesupply.com, look for the Variant of your device, what is your variant btw?

You can try to factory reset[emoji4], just make sure you backup your personal files to the computer, so that it won't get deleted while your device factory resets.[emoji4]

SAME thing happened to me. The phones screen is toast. Had to exchange for replacement.

i think they can replace ít free for you.
of you can try kdz your phone and flash another rom
guys i bought the Note 4 Exynos based one from my relative for like 350$ he used it for roughly about 7 months or so,
good deal ? and there is CM for it now so i bought it !
and do the 910C Roms work on the H one since it is also a Exynos based phone ?

Bought mine less than 2 weeks ago and i'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Yes N910C ROMS work but make sure you have a flashable modem.zip of N910H handy, because some C ROMs come with a modem included which could Corrupt H Baseband.

hmm, i will make sure to always have a flashable rom zip in the sd. one more thing , is there a twrp for the n910h ? if so that would be awesome cause i love it , i prefer it over the cwm.

I bought mine for about $350 second hand/fairly used.TWRP is available, you can doenload it in The Exynos Development thread.

Phone info samsung app and i wanna ask if its really works for checking the refurbished phones ? and will it work if the phone is flashed by a stock frimware with odin befor selling it ? ......... Yes, "Phone Info" works - Because I also purchased phone from another country and I was not sure if it was refurbished or new one, but it was new one, I checked from the App, and it had a original Samsung Stock ROM. Then I installed new custom ROM (Root My phone) again check thru "Phone Info" app and it was giving the correct information. Custom ROM, New Phone, all correct information.

What's wrong with a refurbshed phone? My Note 4 suffered from the very common emmc write failure which means the motherboard/internal memory is getting defect. Ramdom reboots all the time, error messages when booting amd so on more and more often. So I sent my phone to warramty service amd got a brand new main board and usb flex. Now my phone is as good as a brand new one(!) This memory issues are very common to the Note 4 and a weak spot of this phone. I rather buy a phone wich has this issue fixed instead of a phone that's been worn for 2 years and has this issues waiting to happen
Maybe put the motherboard with sm-n910f on sm-m910v?
That is not a good idea. While both devices may use the same Snapdragon 805 SOC, they use entirely different modems. As the N910F is a international GSM device, while the N910V is design for use with the US Verizon cell carrier.

I don't know what you mean by that. But if you want to fix your N910F, you need to get a N910F motherboard.

It will work but you will have to use a Verizon SIM card. As the N910V is design to work on Verizon's network.

im working for a german operator and we got the s8 and the s8+ ldu's
im wondering cause the normal s8 have no imei number on the backside of the device.
the s8+ got a IMEI number so it seems to have a gsm module inside.
i just flashed a stock s8+ rom but its not recognizing my simcard.
do i need to flash a new modem also?
any tips?
on the back it says LIVE DEMO NOT FOR SALE, but there's a IMEI number directly over it.

im just trying to use it for myself since im not allow to sell it lmao.. its a device from our mobile shop here.. i just wanna use it for myself since we got 2 ldu's .. 1 is already installed as ldu and one is just hanging around here.. would be a waste if im not able to use it somehow.. as i said there's imei on the backside.. dunno how to fix that.. already flashed stock rom but it does not recognize the sim i plugin

Hi there. I have an LDU of the regular S8. But mine cant even get into demo mode. It's recovery or Download mode only. What stock firmware did you flash to make it at least work?
My model # on the back is SM-G950XU
I've flashed like 6 different stock FW, it passes in odin and then as its loading up it stops, then says "erasing" and goes back to saying "Security error: an unauthorized firmware has been flashed and the device is locked"

Hey there. Sorry for the delay. Yeah sorry I NEVER found any kind of workaround. I ended up selling the unit for $70 to someone who wanted it for parts. Nothing I tried worked!

If you guys still have the phone. Do not flash a newer ROM! You will never be able to go back to bootloader rev 1.
Find the XU firmware online and flash that.
