Did you put the update.app in a folder called dload. Then unplug phone and reset the phone holding the vol + and vol - buttons as it boots? It always fails for me if the usb is plugged in.

[Q] Huawei C8815 not able to Boot "Image Signature Verify Fail"

I have Huawei C8815, I am facing the following situation
I installed the stock ROM with 3 keys method, than i unlocked the network with networkunlock.bat file.
Later I tried to install one ROM by CWM Recover and I toggled Signature Verification to OFF
When I restarted my phone, It Shows "Image Signature Verify Fail"
1. My phone is not going to Recovery Mode Menu by Vol+ and Power button.
2. My phone is not going to ADB mode by VOL- and Power button.
In both these situations my phone shows "Image Signature verify fail" Install the image with correct signatures.
3.When I try to install the stock ROM by pressing Vol+ and Vol- and Power button, after step 1 in step 2 it says Update failed.
As per my knowledge when network is unlocked the phone will not accept the stock ROM. For Relocking the network we have a tool OFFICIAL FIRMWARE.BAT but for running the bat file the phone must be loaded in ADB mode. My phone is not loading adb drivers in any situation.
It is showing only drivers Android Sooner adb interface.
In this driver environment i cannot do any adb function with my phone.
What to do? I am stuck
I dont know much about JTAG and all. If anything is possible to do with JTAG or any other method, Please guide me in this matter
This is for Motorola Defy and Defy+. You might be in the wrong section, my friend.
Have you worked it out? I flashed OEM partition carelessly with the img from g610c and get exact that you faced. btw, does your networkunlock.bat file work with the simlock ? please share if you don't mind, thanks

Failed to re-lock P9lite VNS-L31

Hi!
Got a problem, need to send my p9 lite to service bc it fell with me into water. it still works, but I assume a chip is frozen because neither the wifi nor bluetooth can be turned on. I'm afraid theyre not fixing my problem because I unlocked it.
I flashed twrp recovery, rooted, but already flashed the stock rom and unroot again.
When I tried to relock with adb and bootloader code, I got the error code root risk is too high
Tried to install other stock roms again and a lot of stuff, but none of it worked. So I tried to relock via dc-unlocker. com but didnt work. But now it says when I restart "your device has failed verification and may not work properly." instead of "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted." and when I tried to use adb to relock with the bootloader code it says "remote: stat not match" ~ got a new bootloader code??
I'm desperate, can anyone help me?
put update.app into dload folder in micro sd card and try 3 button method.
hey i have just the same problem and when i try the 3 button method i get the error software install failed.
but i have no revolution twrp any more and i think also no erecovery beacuse i cant do a factory reset when i tried to enter erecovery with power button , volume + button then i go automatic to software update and at the 5% i get the error software install failed i hope some body get a solution to fix my phone without dc-unlocker
ps i was on android nougat but i think there any os now because the phone dont boot sorry for my bad english hahah

Big Trouble, phone bricked no solution found...

Hello!
I am a new to this forums so bare with me please
i have bricked my phone badly.., i tried to install the ota update for P10 Plus (VKY-L29C432B123) with FlashFire and in the middle of the update the phone went black and my problems began getting worse.
i rebooted the phone and got into Error mode Func No: 11 (recovery image) and Error No: 2 (boot faild in recoveryboot mode!).
so i followed a guide and reinstalled twrp to attemp to restore the system somehow, so i kept following the guide and i went into twrp --> wipe --> format data and here my real problems began..
i did many attemps to install any firmware both stock and roms but i got into system mount problem and i can't do anything to transfer files to system i have tried adb but it can't find my device, tried adb sideloaded doesn't work eaither.
so i am stuck in no where..
the phone and frp are unlocked.
but i have missed to enable USB debugg mod
so now i wonder if there is any solution for me in this case?
greatly thankfull if anyone can help me with this big mess.

You can use that HWOTA method to recovery FullOTA rom no need to use FunkyHuawei.

could you tell me how did you get rid of this error message? im not able to boot into the bootloader, or not completely because the device is not recognized in fastboot.. everytime i turn it off, it turns automatically on and end in, it looks like the bootloader, but with that two error messages, so im not able to do anything..

To boot into bootloader mode you have to plug the usb and hold volume down while booting.

That's a big problem if you can't access fastboot or erecovery.
Seems you messed up the 2 recoveries.

yes it looks like.. i mean, it wouldn't be a problem to flash recovery again, but i can't get the device to boot into the bootoader so i can work with fastboot..

Maybe you still have twrp installed?
Volume up + power without connecting usb.

hi, did you manage to solve this problem?

Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L31 stuck in error mode, please help!

I've been trying to update my phone to emui 5.0, every time it just says update failed. I also tried to flash custom roms through twrp, which always make my build number to something about test-keys. Maybe I'm just to dum. I wiped the system and tried again, but when booted to fastboot it says locked bootloader(it isn't what I want) so I unlocked the bootloader. Now it somehow only boots into the error mode: NO11(recovery image) and NO2(load failed).
I tried button combinations, it just keeps booting to error mode(I also read through other threads, but the solutions like waiting till the phone dies, than press volume - and connect to pc didn't work).

Phone doesn't start anymore?

Frist off, I have a Huawei P9 Lite, Model: VNS-L31C432B394 I tried to flash SuperSU through twrp and after rebooting it was stuck in the Huawei loading screen, so I factory reset my phone and it still wouldn't start after 20 minutes of being stuck in the Huawei loading screen. I then accidently went to the advanced tab in TWRP and checked everything then wiped it instead of Formating Data and it then said that there's no OS installed and now it won't even get out of the "Your phone is not trusted..." screen. I tried to flash the update.zip from the site getdroidtips (Size: 1.26gb) for my Model but it just says "Software install failed the update package does not exist". I don't know what to do anymore, I really need help.
I also tried different flash stock roms from different sites including VNS-L31C432B411, how I did it was flash the update.zip, then update_full_VNS... and then update_data_full_public... and restarting it and then going into the eRecovery, it just said "Software Installa Failed!" once again, I also tried putting the update.app in the dload folder and restarting, going into eRecovery but it kept saying "Software install failed!"

Hey,
I see you f**ked up after the other....
Maybe flashing unSU with TWRP and wiping cache+dalvick cache would have solve the problem.
First wiped everything, then tried to flash a non "FULL OTA" firmware ( 1,26gb instead of +/- 1,9gb normally )
and finally tried to flash a wrong firmware ( B411 )...
Now if i'm not wrong you have a dual sim device ( correct me if needed ), so try to reflash the firmware
you got before.
Dowload VNS-L31C432B394 - FULL OTA MF - with Firmware Finder or other sources and use HWOTA like explained
in this thread.
Another method could be doing a rollback trying to revert to your marshmallow initial firmware.
Hope you will get rid of this..
All the best
