So, the LG G6 doesn't support slimport, and this is not even mentioned in official site. ALL LG phones above LG G2 support slimport but G6 doesn't. This is a very important feature for me, but i was dumb for not checking compatibility before purchasing cable. F*ck you LG

Not only before purchasing cable, but before purchasing this phone altogether! Slimport or MHL is important for me as I want HDMI into my vehicles head unit for shows for the kids on the rear entertainment system.
This is terrible news. Especially because all previous G phones supported slimport, and also users reported the V30 supports it too! :crying:

Transmission sent from my LG G3.
Does it need ant+?
What's that? Also I'm running ART if that makes any difference..

Solved it. Apparently it will not pair with ART, only Dalvik.
Rather shortsighted of them to do this considering Lollipop runs on ART..

Hello,
as I'm very interested in buying also the microsoft band once that it will sell in europe, please post your opinions in using it with our beloved LG G3.
Do you use it maybe with runkeeper?
So, I'm trying to buy a screen replacement for my LG G2. I bought an LG G2 ls980 from China("new", presumably refurbished) and the screen is collecting scratches very quickly. I can buy a replacement for D802 for ~15$, but I've read somewhere that screen in those phones are different. Does anybody know anything about that?
The screen I can buy looks like this:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Also, are the back covers any different? I don't mean aesthetics, but LS980 and D802 have different gsm/wcdma/lte bands, and the antena is on the back cover-would it make a difference?
Hello guys. I gave my old LG G2 to my GF after upgrading to the G4. After owning the G2 for 2 years and it still MINT, she drops it and shatters the lower left corner of the screen. The Touchscreen semi works towards the top, but not throughout. I bought her another one off Swappa, but I have a perfectly good LG G2 with a broken screen sitting here.
Apparently the LG G2 supports SlimPort > HDMI.
This got me thinking. I could turn it into a Android TV box but I would have to have some sort of mouse/keyboard input IN ADDITION to the SlimPort. I found a couple on Amazon that have a microUSB for charging. But does anyone know if any SlimPort adapters will also let me use a OTG cable for a USB hub? If so I could turn it into a sweet little emulator box or similar.
Looking for ideas and experience with the SlimPort adapter + OTG

I'm using the Apple USB C to A adaptor with my flash drive, and it works perfectly. I only had to format it and done. I've paid 19 bucks for the adaptor at Best Buy. I think the hub would work as well, but that's just a guess. Hope someone can help you before you buy it.
