Phone looks are not that important, reviewers rave about how small bezels are. Don't be sucked in by this petty useless yammering. Bezels don't matter. The screen is large and crisp, 1080p is perfect for a cell phone, higher is not needed unless you care about VR. It looks like a phone, and functions like a phone, but it might not 'wow' you like the latest Samsung.

The phone feels very comfortable in my hands. I prefer a little bulkiness. With bulkiness, you know the phone isn't going to fall off your hands because you have more mass to grip in your hand. Having thin phones is nice, but it isn't always practical. The glass back is needed for a non scratch surface. I don't think you need it for the iridescent effect, though. I prefer a mat finish where the phone doesn't slide off your hand. But like every cell phone company, they have to follow Apple because zombies follow penguins.

On the front, looks just like the iPhone XR. The full display experience is real good.
The back looks excellent as well. I like this one more than other such as the Nokia 7 Plus. The flash arrangement is within the camera bump, no metallic ring around finger print sensor, Glass back are all pluses.

Phone looks solid, notch dosin't look stupid like on some phone. Design wise i would really like to see all glass version but oh well maybe in next model. And that engraved version look dope af
Nothing out of ordinary, Huawei has shelled out many devices with almost same design at this point, but it looks good.

I rate it a 3 on looks. Pretty average phone. Better than the XL with its cut-out on the screen. It is just kind of a chunky box with a bit much bezel. But looks is not what we are buying this phone for, but rather the software experience. I would have bought an S9 if it had an un-modified Google experience available. Definitely a phone that needs a nice case to help it out.

The waterfall display, as they're calling it, provides the Edge with a... cutting edge look. While most might not care for the direction Moto went in, I applaud them for experimenting. It's that cool in person.
Outside of its large panel, solar black is a safe yet attractive color. And thankfully the back isn't glass. I say that as I don't want another area that's vulnerable to cracking!
Overall the Edge's build quality if perfectly fine. If I didn't know better I'd say it retailed for $800.
The phone is gawgeous.
