You don't even notice it. I can take off charger at 6am show up at work at 8am and by lunch hour when I check it's still 95%+.
Measured by Accubattery at 1.7%/hour or 60 hours of standby usage with first charge. This is fairly poor and I'm diagnosing why now. A factory reset may be needed.
Edit: The issue was poor reception. I have to disable LTE or my battery usage hits 2%/hour as it constantly searches for a signal.

1.6% percent per hour drain when screen is off. This is terrible. Mobile service seems to drain the most energy in this case. I hope some updates or custom roms will fix this.
No battery drain here after a week of use. Occasionally Play Services won't let go, a reboot fixes it. Even with the 'drain', only 2% all day from it.
Mobile Services draining is cellular service strength, I think.

Typical Moto stays at 100% for a long time, then drops fast after that. This phone doesn't. Stays at 100% all night. Then in the morning drops very slowly from there if I'm not using it. I'm very pleased.
When I'm actually using the phone, it has very good battery life.
I'll second the good battery life. I'm routinely getting 2 days and then some out of each charge, and that's with a VPN constantly running.
I'm also happy with the battery life. At the end of most days I'm around 80%. When I first got the phone I went 4 days without plugging it in and was down to 20%

When the phone is idle for say 7hrs it only loses 0-1%. In poor reception that might change. When I wake up the line is normally flat on the battery graph.
I set most apps i dont use often or need to do things in the background to restricted under battery settings, seems to help to not get random wakelocks for stuff u dont need. I've had mine since it came out and AccuBattery says im at 94% battery endurance, so it is good in that regard. When in deep sleep it drains slow comparatively to other phones and its battery capacity after sleeping 12 hours i will have lost about 4-5%, I do have some syncs and stuff going on in the background.

First impression: positively surprised. I have now fully set up the device with all the apps I used to use, 2 SIMs inserted, WiFi and Bluetooth in operation, and after 7.5 hours in bed overnight it is down from 19% to 17%. Depending on the decimal point, this is between 1.6 and 2.5%.
Thanks HTC! : D
battery with more than adequate duration, from the morning at 08:00 with 100% charge arrived in the evening at 23:00 with 48%, average use of the telephone (internet, wifi, hotspot in the car, phone calls, whatsapp).

This phone does not seem to me that is loses battery charge very much when the phone is standing by in a pocket.
Minimal stand-by drain.
From a before-bed charge of 100% to an after-work the next day charge of about 87% under varying conditions of 5G, 4G and wireless, I'd say it has excellent standby power management.
My a71 5g does have a much bigger battery as compared to my LG v40 but batt seems to be poorly managed. Overnight I seem to have 7% to 9% battery drain. Nothing running, Facebook Uninstalled and various at&t pre installed apps Uninstalled or disabled
