Hope yall enjoy the PA godess! If you have tried it out, you may tell us how it went for you and how things are going.
Kind regards and happy flashing :highfive:
What would the proper sequence of steps be to flash this? I'm currently running Pixeldusts latest with April BL and TWRP rc1
Edit: nevermind I am an idiot
I may be wrong but I thought we weren't able to flash gapps on the pixel? Also, what build is this based on?
Error!
Just tried flashing. On April bootloader. Got an error message:
"Could not find the 'META/INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file"
Oh, well.
Oops - error was because I was trying to install from TWRP that was using fastboot! Once I flashed TWRP, installation was perfect!

Working so far....
I'm on the April Bootloader, and this ROM is working like a charm so far. My steps:
1. Install TWRP, boot into Recovery
2. Wipe
3. Install PA ROM
4. Reboot into System, and then boot into Fastboot
5. Reinstall TWRP, boot into Recovery
6. Install Open GApps (Nano package)
7. Reboot into System
8. Boot into TWRP
9. Install SuperSU
10. Reboot into System
11. Used Titanium Backup to reinstall apps and data
With this method, everything seems to work. I guess if you are on May bootloader you will need to reflash the boot signer after each step involving flashing sometime from TWRP?

Does this have all the navbar and status bar mods?
And does setup wizard cloud backup work with the nano GApps? I tried full and it would only allow phone to phone back up.

if you boot the phone after follows that instruction and flash nano gapps,
Hello screen - wifi setting - connect pixel<->other phone(mine was nexus5) - then the screen said you must use other way to restore back up - select cloud backup - email and password - restore backup
In that case you can restore your apps and backup settings from cloud backup cause i tried and works perfect.
i tried everything to restore cloud backup without connecting other phone but cannot found any ideas.
NOTE: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO USE MAGISK THEN JUST FOLLOW STEPS FROM 1 to 7 WITHOUT STEP 6a
<strike>asd </strike>
A lot of Mi Max 2 users have problem with Dual Boot Patcher. You can pass installation step, but if you want to boot into secondary ROM the phone just vibrate and boot into recovery?
If your answer is "YES" then this guide is for you and it also contain how to get fully working Magisk (optionaly)
What is causing crash? It's encryption on internal storage.
What you have to do:
1) Boot into recovery
2) Make a backup of /system /data /boot on SD Card (it's important to make it on sd card!)
3) Wipe internal storage (it will erase all of your data including photos, music etc.)
4) Restore your backup and boot to your ROM
5) Install Dual Boot Patcher,go to ROM tab -> press 3 dots and press "Update ramdisk" and choose "Reboot now" It causes bootloop for some users and its only necessary for "App sharing" feature but it doesn't work properly on our device, so don't update RAMDISK and go to next step
6) Patch your ROM and install it as secondary on /system or on /data partition - it's your choice. I have MIUI and LOS installed on /system partition and it has still 1.7 GB of free space there
6a) Patch Magisk_v12.zip (see attachment) as a zip for secondary ROM and flash it
7) Select your secondary ROM in ROM list and reboot.
From now on everything what is below we will do on secondary ROM
8) Install Dual Boot Patcher.
9) Install magisk.apk (see attachment)
10) Open Magisk Manager
11) Go to Modules-> press "+" button -> search for Magisk_v15.3.zip -> hold your finger on it -> press "Open". Wait for installation end. Now press close button. Don't restart
12) Open Dual Boot Patcher -> confirm for change current kernel
13) Reboot and voila! You have fully working secondary ROM with Magisk!
English is not my native language. If there are any eye-bleeding language mistakes then send me PM with corrected text. Thanks!

No! It's just for decrypct internal storage. No need to wipe internal again
it worked and the 2nd rom booted correctly then i added magisk 15.3 and set kernel .. the next boot the phone boots to the primary rom and stuck at bootanimation
when checking from recovery it appears that data partition cant be read and twrp asks for password
i managed to format and restore a backup
but what exactly caused this ??
Hi, I tried to follow each step as described but after clicking 'reboot' in the dual boot patcher app it just reboots to TWRP and I can't boot into the os anymore..... Anyone having the same issue?

Well thank you so much for this post
I followed all step carefully did same as written
Didn't keep miui as primary,
ISSUES
I went to Recovery fresh install of superior os
Did Backup , Wipe ,and restore now rebooted
Installed DBP Patch Miui 11 ROM and I thought that there's no enough storage in my system partition so flashed it in data slot )))
Switched to Miui 11 everything worked fine!
But I'm unable to boot in my primary superior os
FOA I were unable to switch ROM to superior then I updated kernel and ramdisk switched successfully but still
I can't boot to my primary superior os Everytime I reboot I boot into Miui 11 -

It's been a year already since I checked this sub and I am still using the TWRP that flickers and is chinese. Is there like an upgraded version for our device? Specifically for the non elite variant US version?
I think I might have screwed my phone because after I flashed a new rom(RR) my internal storage won't mount on recovery and when I connect it to pc. But I can see it in my phone when I'm on system(thank god) This is weird because I have not put any security lock on my phone before backing it up. So I am assuming that I need to update my TWRP to something latest to solve this issue, but I haven't been keeping up to this sub, i don't know if there's a newer compatible of TWRP.
And I also forgot why I did not went with the official one from TWRP. Maybe because it messes up the bootloader? or something like that, forgot since it's been a year already and I remember reading into a guide to use the chinese twrp.
[Solved]
If this happens to your device and you happen to use the chinese screen flicker fest TWRP, just go on and flash the latest official TWRP for our device. And you're going to be able to see your internal storage again.
you can either flash it ADB or from your recovery, but I flashed mine through TWRP

Stop reading out of date articles, and use the latest Twrp here: https://twrp.me/leeco/leecolepro3.html
The Chinese bootloader issue is no longer an issue
* So to be clear about you issue you cannot boot to recovery.
* You do see you phone when you connect it to the computer...Right?
* BTW, I also have an X727
Your issue is most likely due to corruption and encryption
Backup whatever data you can and then use the All in One ( "AIT " ) tool to remove encryption ( NOTE: this is going to erase your data.
Next Using AIT install Twrp and magisk 17.1 or the easier way to resolve this may be to temporarily go back to stock.
Option 1
Try flashing the latest Twrp and magisk 17.1, using either ADB or AIT
After flashing boot into TWRP recovery
1. Go to "Wipe" and then to "Advanced Wipe".
2. Mark "Dalvik / ART Cache", "System", "Data" and "Cache".
3. "Swipe to Wipe" and proceed back the main menu.
4. Go to "Install".
5. Select the ROM zip file and then press "Add more Zips" and select the Gapps zip file, and then the Magisk file.
6. "Swipe to confirm Flash" and wait for some time.
7. After the flashing is finished, just reboot to recovery, check boxes to keep Twrp installed
8. Boot to system go through setup.
Option 2
You could flash my Recovery which includes Twrp and Root. ( Instructions at Link Below)
Afterwards you will be able to update the Twrp, and Root, then Flash whatever you want.
Le Eco Pro 3 X727 Twrp Backup : Clean Full Stock X727 recovery EUI 5.8.21s
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75021582
Option 3
Use All in One tool to restore my recovery, Flash a Stock Rom , or simply Flash TWRP/ROOT and then your Rom> Gapps> Magisk once again > Reboot to Recovery ( Check Boxes, for Twrp manager installation) Reboot to recovery > do not choose to make you drive read only! Clear Cache ( Not Dalvik) Reboot to system > Finished.
However, there is a faster way: @mauronofrio created a tool called: "TOOL ALL IN ONE"" and its great!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...ctory-t3358711
Its an excellent tool for keeping your drivers and adb up to date. Plus it will give ADB system wide privileges.
Mauronofrio's tool can also unencrypt your storage
After install the All in One Tool
Make sure to check for the AIT program for updates, to the tool itself and to ADB.
Next, click button to allow ADB privileges system wide.
Get more information here:*https://toolaio.tk**
XDA page for Le pro 3 : https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-...1#post71627491
* The all is one tool is excellent and you can use it to install everything you want.
* You can use it to unlock the bootloader.
* Remove Encryption
* Install TWRP,
* Install your Rom, Gapps and Magisk etc.
* The tool will also update your existing installation of ADB, Android Drivers, and provide system wide ADB privileges.
Of course use ADB or AIT once the phone is restored but you would be better off buying an OTG adapter and a USB 3.0 USB Flash drive. This way you can quickly make changes on the fly. I recommend buying at least 32GB usb 3.0 drive. Absolutely, the OTG adapter is the best method, because you will have all of your files available for quick installation and you can make numerous nandroid backups of your favorite rom installations. So If you get bored with one Rom, you can quickly restore another Rom in 5 to 10 minutes.
Again , if you do not use an OTG drive. Just use ADB or AIT for flashing your files, the steps are same as with any other phone.
Finally, look past any typos, I don't have time to proofread after spending so much time on a single post.
Thanks for the detailed response!
my issue was, I can go to recovery but it is not mounting my internal storage. It was showing as 0mb. I am aware that this is usually happens when you encrypt your device and back it up in the recovery and try to restore. But I never put any encryption on my device let alone it doesn't even ask me for a password when I am on the recovery. Anyway, I solved it by just flashing the latest official TWRP on our device. And I'm glad that I am finally away from the buggy chinese twrp.
I was just worried if there was any dangers on flashing the official latest twrp because I am seeing a lot of people getting bricked. So much for the halfassed allowing us to unlock our bootloader in this device by leeco.
Anyway, I really appreciate all that detailed guide. I will keep them in reference in the future.

If you have an encryption issue again, and you have latest tarp and magisk.
Just format storage and reboot to recovery, then wipe and issue will be resolved.
I've got a SM-G950F, and succesfully flashed TWRP on it.
Wiped /data, after that i flashed dm-verity and force encryption disabler, everything was ok until the first boot into the system.
It booted up, and immediately after that i turned off the phone and booted into TWRP, and for some reason it couldnt mount /data again.
The tutorial i have followed:
Thanks for the tutorial to: jesec
Part 1 - HOW-TO FLASH TWRP:
1. In your ROM, go to Settings -> About device. Tap 7 times on Build number to enable Developer options.
2. Go to Settings -> Developer options and enable OEM Unlock option.
3. Download and Install Samsung Mobile Phones Drivers.
- Option 1: Download and Install Smart Switch for PC.
- Option 2: Download and Install standalone driver package.
4. Download and extract Odin (Samsung's Flash Tool) to your computer.
5. Download a .tar image of TWRP.
6. Reboot your device to download mode.
- Hold [VOLUME DOWN] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] for approx. 15 seconds.
- Read the warning carefully.
- If you agree, press [VOLUME UP] to get into Download mode. If you don't agree, STOP.
7. Open Odin and place that TWRP tar file in the [AP] slot.
8. Connect your phone.
9. Hold [VOLUME UP] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] on your phone and then press start on Odin.
10. Wait for the phone to reboot. DO NOT release [VOLUME UP] + [BIXBY] + [POWER] or you may not reboot into TWRP.
Part 2 - HOW-TO INITIALIZE TWRP: (for new phones)
1. If you completed Part 1 successfully, you should be in TWRP now. At this point, you will reach the screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications.
2. Select "Keep /system RO". (Don't swipe right or you may not be able to boot into system if you failed to complete next steps. However, you can swipe right to allow modifications if you are confident that you can complete next steps.)
3. Go to "Wipe" menu of TWRP and you will find "Format Data". Press "Format Data" and type "yes" to continue.
4. Go to "Reboot" menu and Press "Recovery" to reboot TWRP.
5. Download the latest dm-verity and force encryption disabler zip on your computer.
6. Transfer the zip to your phone.
- Option 1: MTP: Connect your phone with computer and just copy the zip to internal storage. (similar to how you transfer files when in system.)
- Option 2: ADB: Connect your phone with computer and run command "adb push /path/to/zip /sdcard/".
- Option 3: External SD: Copy the zip to an external SD and then insert the card to your phone.
7. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
TWRP is initialized and fully functional at this stage. Now you can either reboot into system or root, flash custom ROMs via TWRP.
Part 3 - HOW-TO ROOT:
1. Download the flashable zip.
- Option 1: Magisk
- Option 2: SuperSU (untested)
2. Transfer the zip to your phone.
3. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
Part 3a - HOW-TO FLASH CUSTOM ROMS:
1. Download the flashable zip.
2. Transfer the zip to your phone.
3. Go to "Install" menu of TWRP and flash the zip.
Simple.

Use latest twrp 3.2.3.2 should have data mount and quota issues fixed.
You can flash the .Img file through twrp or flash the .img.tar file with Odin.
After flashing reboot straight into twrp and repeat part 2 of the guide you quoted.
I would be interested to know also if in download mode if you have a line in there saying rmm state?

I am assuming you followed the instructions that you quoted in your first post.(mainly part 2) after flashing twrp
Did you format data in twrp - not wipe - this is needed to decrypt your phone.
Rebooted back into twrp.
Did you flash the no verity opt zip (version 6) - this will disable re encryption of your phone when booting back into system.
This should all be done before booting back into system otherwise your phone will re encrypt itself.

When do the errors occur ie: during backup, restore, flashing something.
When first starting twrp did you swipe to allow modifications or did you leave it as read only.
You mean, the data mount error?
If yes, immediately after the 2nd boot into TWRP, after the first boot into system. Before i do anything in twrp, i check the log (with the button on the lower right) and it creates a bunch of errors, all in contact with the data partition.
So i can even do a proper backup.
If i flash any zip, upon the next boot into system it says something like verify failed, cannot reboot your phone and it gives a button wich used to restore the phone from recovery, but now i cant even do that bcoz it cant mount /data and thus can restore the phone.

Still sounds like you device is still encrypted.
Doing a factory reset with twrp should work to restore your phone or at worst you can re-flash your firmware.
If you can in twrp FORMAT data again and flash the no verity zip use version 6 zip file
https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/
I would be curious to know in twrp in the mount menu what options are ticked as well.
After the fresh flash, it was not encrypted because i could access the internal storage, and data was mounted.
Now in TWRP system(read only), cache and dalvik is mounted, and internal storage says 0MB

What Android version are you on?
When you flashed twrp it should have asked you whether or not to ' swipe to allow modifications ' did you swipe to allow or not.
In the mount menu of twrp I have ticked/checked data, cache,SD card the option at the bottom to allow read only I have ticked - this does not stop me from doing backups but does stop me from restoring (data mount error ) so you can leave it unticked.
I would.like to know your steps for twrp installation (not the one you quoted in first post) as I screwed up when I first tried.
I attached the software information bellow.
I have not swiped to allow for system modifications
First steps were the followimg:
Install .tra with odin
Immediately reboot to twrp
No swipe for system modifications
Format data
Flash no dm verity v6
(Flash magisk)
Reboot to system

Ok basically you have missed a step as far as I can see
(When I did mine I did swipe to allow modifications )
After you have formated data you will need to reboot back into twrp ( use reboot menu in twrp )
Then flash the no verity zip and magisk
If using magisk I would try the latest version 18 it's working ok for me.
Then boot into system to see if everything ok
Then reboot into twrp and see if the data mount issue is fixed.

I fixed this by flashing Renovate ICE's ROM and selecting the TWRP included in the AROMA installer.
Can access storage on TWRP now with no issues.

Why stock???
It pretty much is stock, just you have full control over the apps preinstalled and you can change colours of various UI elements.
It's just easier to flash a zip than it is to flash via ODIN, then flash TWRP and keep trying over and over to get this result when I know this rom works fine with CTSprofile.
You will only need to flash TWRP once and copy the rom to your phone.
The rest is magic (AROMA)
I haven't really had to mess with anything and have just installed and used the HSBC banking app as if it were an official phone. (ROOTED and custom ROM and Recovery)
One extra step you could take is to use Magisk hide and point it to the app you want to hide root from.

Will this be able to format data on Android 10 encryption like SHRP?
Flashed it from fastboot but doesn't come ,only comes fastboot mode ?
Only Sharp works in 10 properly.

Your not doing it right because everyone else is able to install all recoveries it's only you who is having these issues. Without a proper bug report nobody can help you though

It just won't boot. You can still recover from this by enabling the setting in twrp and reformatting data.
You will lose data regardless of this being enabled because this is only used for formatting data. That's what formatting data does

can I install shrp recovery zip and then miui12...
what I will do is -->
1. install this recovery in b slot through minimal adb
2. boot in twrp
3. install shrp recovery zip file (phone is still in b-slot)
4. change slot to a
5. reboot recovery
6. format data
7. install miui12
8. reboot
will this steps safely boot my device???
hello. first thank you very much for your hard work. i really apreciate.
so, i was on stock rom, freshly unlock the bootloader and flash twrp unofficial for android 10.
then in twrp i flash the zip installer and reboot to recovery.
once again in twrp i, like i'm use to, wipe successfully dalvik/system/data to erased all of stock rom.
then i format data (the one typing "yes" for confirmation) but it broke internal storage.
twrp does not show any file or folders. i rebooti in recovery but it won't show anything
i reflash twrp and the same... nothing.
so i went to fastboot mode and flash shrp, boot up in recovery but it was still not showing files or folders of internal storage. i wipe dalvik/system/data and reboot to recovey.
and this time it show folder but with codes like "QRGHQ9R4HGVUQE4RNG98TH9324HTG923" OR "66EFQ3KFK4TK34KT3K4K34K2KK2" and so...
what do i 'm doing wrong?
can i format data with out breaking internal storage?
the only thing i can do to get internal storage was flash stock rom again, i have not encrypted anything, i don't use microsd card, even i don't use password to unlock screen.
thanks in advance for your comments.

Ok you performed Format > And type "Yes" , actually this will Format your internal storage as well, RIP for your Data now else you took a backup earlier.
Now connect your phone to your PC with data cable , in mount section check if MTP is enabled if not then enable it , now your phone's internal storage shows in PC transfer Rom flash Zip files to internal storage, disconnect from PC and flash that rom.
Recovery choice is yours SHRP or TWRP
Note - Do not perform format > yes before flashing that zip.

Not able to flash recovery
I am on the latest stock android patch, probably that's why not able to flash recovery.
First I tried TWRP 3.3.1-2 Unofficial by Nikesh Kataria from the other post. As it said it supported android 10 with decryption and everything. But it didn't work.
Now with version 3.4.0-0, I am able to boot into recovery using platform-tools. But the files in /sdcard seems to be encrypted (judging by the codes shown instead of readable folder names).
Could someone please help me suggest any recovery which supports latest stock android 10 with decryption?
Is there a way around this?

Decryption will only work if you format data first. This is with every recovery. Has to be a factory reset of stock ROM or fresh install of custom ROM and from then twrp will be able to decrypt if it is installed, you're not installing it either by the way just temporarily installing it to inactive slot which will get wiped on reboot. For twrp to decrypt you must install it using the installer.zip by flashing it in you're temporarily installed twrp.img

Thanks for the help.
But after booting into twrp, how do I install twrp.zip. I even tried sideload that also errors out "Unable to find partition for path /cache".
May be I am missing some step. But here is what I have done.
Unlocked bootloader.
Booted into TWRP on inactive_slot(i.e. slot_b , in my case) with command fastboot flash boot twrp.img
Trying to install twrp.zip (failing at this step itself).

Put the zip on an SD card
Some ROM has some recovery integrated within the OS. If i install that and then the ROM, will the ROM's recovery overwrite this?
