Hi, I like to use long press home button (Google Assistant) to activate bixby voice, is it possible and how?
If I use custom remapper, which app should I choose to activate?
I would also love to know how to do this

S voice is dead starting from the galaxy s8. It is (or will be in the very near future) replaced by Bixby that has its own button below the volume keys and doesn't need to use the home button at all.

Once I have the google bar in desktop I see no usage for long press in home button for same function so in my S7 Edge I had S Voice to pull contacts for example.
Never tried Bixby as it's not available in my language.

I get what you're saying. But it is what it is.
As a side note, the home button no longer brings up Google now cards or search, like the search bar on the home screen. Now it's set to call up Google assistant, for what it's worth. I personally use its voice feature only for alarms, reminders and fact searches.

Just downloaded bixby. Should be out for everyone today. See if it scratches your itch. [emoji4]

Bixby is not available in many languages now but out and available to every one, so I think svoice has made its time now it will be more useless as it was until now. Bixby seems very promising and much more complete and advanced as every other voice assistants I think
If i hold the home key down it only opens google assistant.
If i try to map assistant with button mapper then it will just open google assistant.
I already configuree bixby voice with hi bixby.
On previous roms it works just fine in button mapper batman note 8 port and early s9 port worked fine for bixby voice. But now in the s9 port by sac23 i cant map the bixby.
I think the only solution is a custom keycode that can longpress the bixby key. I found the key for a short press but it only goes to bixby home as if its only pressed once. Pls help
Hi on my op6 I could.hold power button for .5 seconds to get assistant to launch. That option seems to be missing on my op6. Is it just not enabled on the T-Mobile variant ?
T-Mobile needs to update their software to the latest from OnePlus.
You could always set one of the gestures to assistant. I can't take credit for that idea.

On mine, it's hold the home button. That launches Google Assistant.

No home button as I'm using gestures
I can't find the option for voice command in Bixby Home. It is there for my S8. Is it because of lack of Bixby button?
Since the coming note 10 will be absent of Bixby button too, is Samsung finally given up on voice command?
After the latest update, Bixby with power button was added. So now this device is supporting voice command.
