Some birthdays aren't shown on calendar - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

I'm using OnePlus 5 with our company's Exchange (for contacts, email, tasks and calendar). Everything works fine except one thing - some contacts doesn't have birthdays on calendar. I double checked if all contacts have birthday entered in the same way. In Outlook (on PC) everything looks fine, all birthdays are shown on calendar. But on Android only 3/4 of contacts have a notification on calendar.
Any idea?

Contact Birthdays on 8125

I've had the phone about 3 weeks and before whenever I entered someone's birthday under their contact info the birthday was automatically on my calendar. Now, for some reason it's not doing that if I had any new birthdays.
Any idea why it stopped putting the bdays on my calendar??
anyone?!?!?!?
I have the same problem. In fact, my contact birthdays have never translated over to my calendar. It works for my friend who has the same phone, although he imported his contacts from Outlook using ActiveSync. Anyone?
The default behaviour is that the birthdays are put into the calendar when you syncronize with outlook.
Or in detail: outlook puts your contacts birthdays into the calender which are then synced with your device. So new birthdays don't automatically show up if you didn't sync.
Thanks TcT. You have confirmed my suspicions. Once I synced my Calendar and Contacts with Outlook, my phone calendar populated with contact birthdays. Thanks.
I am using pocket breeze for my birtday list. It really goes well along w/ the compact calendat on today's screen. Believe me, this software is really great!

Calandar and recurring events

Hello
I am using outlook and syncing with google calandar sync to my gmail calendar, which works fine. And then my Legend syncs with gmail calendar.
But any recurring event which cannot be edited in gmail calendar, such as "first weekday of month" gets synced to my Legend to EVERY single weekday from the starting date forward, which of course is pointless.
It shows correct in my gmail calendar though.
Any solution to this is much appreciated.

Google Apps Calendar & Contact problem

Hi All
I make quite a lot of use of the contacts and calendars on my Z but today I noticed something a little odd.
On my Google apps account I have subscribed to the Contacts Birthday & Events Calendar, which seemed to have worked fine, the contacts I had with birthdays were added to the calendar on the computer and sync'd to the phone fine too.
The other day I added a few more birthday dates to various contacts on my phone, and thought nothing of it.
I just checked my calendar and noticed that none of the ones I had updated were added to my calendar. I decided to have a look on the computer, and sure enough the birthdays were in the calendar on google calendar, but no amount of syncing on the phone makes them show up on the phone.
I have tried deleting the birthday on the contact on the phone and re adding in on google contacts and still it doesn't appear on the phone.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Gmail calendar items are not displayed in any calendar app

My main Gmail account is fully synced with my device.
In all calendar apps, no appointments from it (and any other gmail account) are displayed (checked with stock calendar, CAL, widgets etc.)
My Gmail calendar is not even displayed in the list of available calendars in any app.
Of course, all my appointments are there on the web version of Google calendar, and all are fully synced.
Any advise to remedy that annoying issue would be very welcome.
Amir.

Outlook calendar sync fail

Phone: T-Mobile (US) LG G6
OS: Android 7.0, build ID NRD90U
I'm not sure how long I've had this problem, since I tend to use my laptop calendar more than my phone's.
I use Outlook.com for email, contacts, and calendar. I do not use Gmail/Google for these services.
My email client is Nine, which also has a built-in calendar.
I use the built-in LG Calendar, but I've also tried the aCalendar+ app, which I own. Both calendars say they are displaying the Outlook calendar, but nothing actually displays. The Outlook account is registered on the device through the Nine app, and the built in Nine calendar works fine, displaying the actual Outlook calendar content. I have no problems with Contacts sync using the built-in LG Contacts app.
I've tried going into Settings>Accounts>Nine><myemail> to make sure it's set to sync the calendar. But for some reason nothing actually appears in the Calendar app, or in aCalendar. I'm at a loss to know what to try next.
Which setting do you have for the default calendar-app in Nine under Settings-Calender?
I do also use Nine however with an Exchange-account. My default calendar app is Nine and this works fine.
I had the same problem. And 3rd party programs are a good solution in this case. The nice one is Akruto. It doesn't work with email, it is intended to sync calendars, contacts, notes, and tasks. The syncing is two-way, so you'll see all the changes you made across all your devices. Here is an article about it http://www.akruto.com/best-ways-to-sync-android-with-microsoft-outlook/
