I am getting good Voice over LTE results with a 6.0 custom ROM (TRUEMM) on my XT1575. With Verizon I can talk and use data simultaneously.
Has anyone used 7.0 and VoLTE on Verizon?

Are you running stock 7.0 or something custom?

Stock 7.0, the recently released build. I have had no issues with call quality, drops or simultaneous voice and data.
Simultaneous voice and data, as well as VoLTE work for me on Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 and it's now working for me on stock Nougat 7.0. Hope this helps!

I have 2 sm-N900v were working great on 4.4.2 upgraded one to stock lollipop OF1 and the other to Jasmine Rom 6.1. They are both getting terrible service. Anyone else have the same problem and is there a fix for it?
Yep.... All the versions of 5.0 seem to have poor signal as well as battery. I went back to 4.4.4.

Can I run lollipop with a kitkat modem?
My understanding is that the modems are independant and are interchangable. Someone else might be able to answer it better. I dont think the issue is in the modem though. Googling issues with Lollipop, I have the impression that it is unresolved bugs in the OS related to the Note 3.

Your best bet would be to flash a T-Mobile rom. I've tested some of the 6.0.1 roms and couldn't get data working but the 5.1.1 roms should work fine.

Which 6.01 Roms would boot for you?
Echoerom and Dr Ketan (with Vitamin kernel and M3 fix). Neither will get data with Verizon or T-Mobile. You'll have to flash a 5.1.1 rom. If you want 6.0.1, CM13 is the only working option right now.

I'm using att though, but I'm guessing that won't work either.

Not on a Verizon phone. We need an updated Kernel.

Just got my S5 g900f! It's on 5.0, I want to load CM. Should I leave on 5.0 or upgrade to 6.0.1? Does it make difference?

Why would you not just go to Nougat?
CM 14 is out? Or did you mean stock Samsung TW?

Not yet. Still unofficial builds for now.
As for 5.0 vs. 6.0, 6.0 is definitely the better stock ROM choice for battery life and overall smoothness.
CM13 has some battery drain issues in the latest builds.

CM14.1 works great for me. No problem with BT or anything else.
Thanks so Sounds like upgrade to 6.0 prior to installing CM?

Yes.
Always best to upgrade the bootloader to the latest before flashing any custom ROM.
Saber.
Thanks all for the help. Rooted it, installed TWRP, then installed CM13 and gapps. So far do great. Everything seems very smooth. This is still a capable phone isn't it?

5.0,..... Less battery drain
Hello
I sometimes face this problem with my phone. When I enable wifi ti reboots and then everything is just normal.
Is it some ram issue? Generally after I enable wifi or 4g its a bit slower for a while. I think its because it loads facebook, messenger, viber and other apps.
I use stock android 6.0.1 with no root. This happens the few last months.
revert back to 5.1

Just that? And I'll have to be with 5.1 or first flash 5.1 and then 6.0.1?

It's a real prick. Have to choose between either calls and SMS or a faster WiFi connection!
