Mobile data stops when sleeping - Moto G5 Plus Questions & Answers

When I turn on wifi hotspot, after a while internet stops working. As soon as I unlock the device, internet starts working again. The hotspot connection isn't interrupted in sleep, it's the LTE. I'm on stock rom and had tried extended stock kernel which gave the same result

Wifi losing internet connection

Unrooted, stock, running 24A
Wifi frequently loses internet connection. It still shows as connected to wifi, however there is no internet data at all until wifi is turned off and back on.
Keep wifi on during sleep is "Always". Battery saving for wifi is checked.
I don't even know what to look for. Any ideas? Thanks

Internet Wifi Problem

Any one encountering problem on wifi internet? After some time, my phone is still connected on the wireless but cannot access the internet. I will be able to again after I reconnect. Only happens when using custom ROMs.
I have the same problem.
It started happening after I updated to 5.1.1.
I am on stock firmware btw.
It occurs when I leave the phone on standby for a long time.
Wifi is set to stay always connected and no power saving options
are active on my device.
You are right. I thought it was only with custom roms. But it turns out that it affects most of 5.1.1 devices.

WiFi cuts in and out when bluetooth is on, works fine when bluetooth is off

On my 6P, the flow of data on WiFi stops every few minutes, remains out for 10-30 seconds, then comes back. Usually, it will fail over to LTE data automatically. Then after 30 seconds or so, reconnects to WiFi. *THIS 100% ONLY HAPPENS WHEN BLUETOOTH IS TURNED ON. * If I turn Bluetooth off, WiFi remains on rock solid.
I don't know if it's related or not, but the only time I can get it to use WiFi for calls/sms is if I put it in airplane mode so it had no choice to use WiFi. It will never switch to or utilize WiFi calling automatically. The 3G signal in my house is nearly non existent, so it should be using WiFi in nearly all cases.
I use Pure Nexus. Updating to the latest version 2 weeks ago made no difference.
I have already been down all the roads with routers, WiFi channels, DHCP, and any other fix that could possibly be unrelated to the 6P. It's none of them. Again, this only happens with bluetooth turned on, and does not happen with bluetooth turned off.
Any suggestions?

Wifi keeps switching on an off

Dear all,
I'm experiencing a somewhat weird issue with my Xiaomi Mi A1 (Oreo) which started a couple of months ago.
My WiFi keeps switching on an off.
* When I turn off WiFi, 4G comes up. After a few seconds (I can leave the phone unlocked at the desk, it almost happens instantaneously) Wifi turns on by itself and connects (just as if I switched it on manually).
* When I activate the mobile Hotspot, it switches off after a few seconds, disconnecting all devices connected, only to switch on the regular Wifi after a few seconds and trying to connect to the next network.
* In random cases, Wifi just switches off despite being connected to a working network and while I'm using it.
This is somewhat annoying, and I didn't find any solutions online. Any ideas? Any more information you need (sorry, I'm new here)?
EDIT: This is not the "Turn on Wifi automatically" setting, and it is also not related to location services.
Flash stock rom, sounds like a software bug. Otherwise, return it while you still can.
Thanks.

wifi Keeps turning itself off [Y5II]

When I go into the settings and turn on Wifi about 5 seconds later it auto turns off the Wifi. It's a Y5ii. I tried many things to get the wifi & mobile internet working (E.g. Reset the phone, update phone) but it never works
