Where To Find Legacy Version Of OnePlus 5 Launcher - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

Trying to find an older version of the OnePlus 5 launcher. Also how to avoid updating. I hate the new home screen folder behavior.

You can disable auto update in the Play store settings, even by individual app.

You can just uninstall the update in the Play Store.

[REQUEST] Tapatalk version before the major change

As many of you probably know, the new version of Tapatalk is a hot mess. I wish I've read the comments before upgrading.
Anyone happen to have the apk of the version prior to the major change in the UI and functionality?
I'll dig around in all my backups.
There are so many issues with the update:
1. The app is now ad-supported, but it's free! I paid for the app so I wouldn't see ads.
2. Forum navigation is cumbersome. Why would you force users to tap the most difficult spot to navigate?
3. Everything I load XDA, the "failed to connect to forum" toast pops up. I believe that renders the mark forum as read button useless.
4. 2 start new topic buttons while the mark as read button is hidden in a menu.
5. Color scheme.
6. There's no way to sort your subscribed subforums.
7. What's with the collage at the top once you connect to a forum? All that does is force users to scroll just to see what they want.
8. I could go on by I've got better things to do.
Yeah, it's a complete disaster. Check the attachment, that's version 4.9.5, right before the major UI redesign.
Anyway it just got updated to version 4.10.1.
^ Thanks!
I also paid for the Pro version. The strange thing is that out of the blue (about 2 weeks ago), the Pro version won't allow attachment uploads. It displayed a message to download the version from the Play Store and logging in with a Tapatalk ID to have that functionality and also (coincidentally?) the app force closes every time it's opened shortly after.
That pretty much made me install the version from the Play Store. I smell something is going on to force the current users to download the current ad version. I don't think it is fair for the ones that paid to get rid of the ads.

AFAIK there's no pro version anymore. The one attached is the free version, the one and only version of Tapatalk that's in the play store.

I know, haven't updated the app in over a year. It worked fine which is why I never upgraded.
I downloaded the apk but it won't let me install. When I tap on "Install" nothing happens, I could only tap on "Cancel"

A year lol. I just upgraded to 4.10.1. It's still sucks, I think I'm gonna go back to 4.9.5.

Either I'm really dumb and blind, or there is no option to mark a forum as read.

Try disabling Lux first before you install.

I believe I saw it in a drop-down menu somewhere. But I'd gone back to Tapatalk Pro temporarily so I don't have it handy to check.
I've also gone back to the Pro version. It is so much better without all the unnecessary bloat.

Nexus 6P Google Play Services

I'm afraid I might of just done something daft. I installed the new google play services update, without checking the previous 3 digits from my previous phone, and now it is not working properly. Could someone help me, which version should I install? I have a Nexus 6P with the security updates for November, and I haven't changed anything. If someone could post the like that be great!

Question about two apps after 7.0

After I got the update for 7.0 Lookout is freaking out. Can someone tell me if these need to be deleted or is Lookout overreacting?
You really need this app ?
I have no idea what they are or what they do. Only did this once I installed the ota. I tried to uninstall both but they will not uninstall.
I believe @therock3181 was referring to Lookout and not the apps in question.

Yup.
What needs to be deleted is that Lookout crap...
Enviado desde mi Nexus 6P mediante Tapatalk
If you go to the play store listing for Lookout you'll find an uninstall button.. Seriously though, on the listing you'll see email developer. Might have more luck emailing them for support. Also, questions should go in the Q&A subforum, not general.
Edit: A Google search of the package names will also help.

Play store doesnt check for app updates

Hi, I just switched to Android from Windows Mobile. I'm using a nexus 6p. I'm having some issues with the play store where it doesn't check for app updates. I could see update if I search for the app through play store. No update being shown under my apps and games in playstore. I already update to the latest play store through apk. What can I do to fix this issue? Thank you.
If you go into Play Store then Settings, look if you have "Do not auto update apps" checked.

I already enabled automatically update apps. Btw, i found a way to fix it. Turned off the phone, removed sim, insert back and boot up. Voila, its all good now. Thank you.
That's good to hear!

You can use an app like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tohsoft.app.locker.applock.fingerprint , but I prefer just a short screen on time so the fingerprint will be required again

On IOS is avalaible now and soon become avaliable in Android
If you use cpl as your launcher, it has a feature called secure apps. If you like stock android launcher look, you should give this one a try.
