Hi all,
i am trying to install the twrp recovery on my s4 gt-I9505. I installed odin and downloaded the .tar file (i have tried some of that becouse i'm not sure which one should i use, it seems there is no s4 9505 in the list). Odin i setted with auto rebbot and f. reset time only. After the process ended, i tried to enter recovery from my device, but when i try it appers a yellow ad red write and then the device boot normally but no in the recovery. Hope u guys can help me, im not that good with this kind of stuff. PS: sorry for the bad english hope u guys can uderstand me ^^
Try this to install TWRP on the gt-i9505:
open Odin 3.07 and uncheck everything except f reset time;
flash the phone with the latest tar file from here: https://dl.twrp.me/jfltexx/ in the PDA box of Odin 3.07;
when you see the word "RESET" in the status window, remove USB cable from the phone, remove the battery, replace the battery, use buttons to boot into recovery;
reboot.

You need to keep holding down the home and volume up button after the phone powers up. Sounds like you are not holding the 2 buttons down long enough.

Screwed up a flash of build.prop
Originally I could access both Download Mode and Recovery but in the time I waited to download new Firmware to flash, I can't access either of them.
Holding Home+Vol Up+Pwer - Bootloops
Holding Home+Vol Down+Pwer - Bootloops
Letting boot shows the splash, makes bootsound with no graphic, lights the LED buttons and then Freezes
I was using the Stock Firmware from Optus.
Someone please help
EDIT: Fixed it, Anyone else who has a similar issue, I let it boot, and then it turned it's self off, once that happened I could access Download Mode again...Thank god

No, I only saw that screen once and the 3keys worked on it.
Sorry
meh... then it's not the same
that picture above, is the ultimately bricked screen.
and only the 3 button combo can save it, but if the phone have 3 button sequence disable, you are pretty much dead in the water.
Shut this ANDROID IS killing me with my s60v5 i8910 dont have any problems at all when flashing and i flashed arround 50 times

Are you sure you are missing recovery? That's a normal image of recovery.
See: support.google[dot]com/nexus/answer/4596836?hl=en (rem [dot] add . I am too new to post links outside of site.)
If your tablet is on, turn it off.
1.Press and hold the Volume Down button, then press and hold the Power button at the same time until the tablet turns on. You'll see the word "Start" with an arrow around it.
2.Press the Volume Down button twice to highlight "Recovery mode."
3.Press the Power button to start Recovery mode. You'll see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark and the words "No command."
4.While holding down the Power button, press the Volume Up button.
5.Use the volume buttons to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset," then press the Power button to select it.
6.Scroll down to "Yes - erase all user data," then press the Power button to select it.

Basically, I flashed the stock recovery image copied from official image and it worked. And thanks for your guidance
I very recently purchased a used Galaxy Note 3 that has been well used and loved. I bought it because I was told that the phone died whilst updating to Lollipop and because of this, the phone will now not boot. It is stuck in a bootloop with Recovery........ In the top corner.
Now my problem is this, I cannot get into Recovery Mode. It Just turns off again before I can access the screen, vibrates, then comes back on, rinse and repeat. I can get I to Odin mode, download mode, if you like.
I have tried flashing a Lollipop stock OS onto the device but I continually had the same problem, so I downloaded a CWM Recovery and flashed that onto the phone, but now I'm getting an error of SEAndroid is not enforcing... Blah blah.
I am incredibly stuck here and I know literally nothing about rooting. I just want this fixed, and am willing to try anything you throw at me if you're willing to push me to get there. Thanks, and I appreciate any advice!

ok, take the battery out for a min. Put it in again and boot in Recovery TWRP. TWRP is a lil ****er (press up button, home key and Power button. Release only the Power button when you see the logo of Samsung, and continue pressing the others till TWRP blue screen appears).
Select pit file in pit tab and select firmware file in Ap tab.

Hello everyone,
I need some help. I was using package disabler to disable some apps and I accidentally disabled Android System. This is now causing the phone not to boot pass the ATT logo screen. The phone is vibrating multiple times like it would normally do when starting up but it is not going pass the ATT logo. Any ideas how I can possibly fix this without resetting my phone? I am not rooted and am on the latest update from ATT.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion....i have tried to get it to boot into safe mode but it isnt working....i am not sure if I am doing it wrong or just that the phone is so screwed up that its not going into it....thanks tho!
You may just have to face the fact that a factory reset is necessary. Not ideal I know, but short of getting safe mode to work it looks to be your only option...
