Wondering if anyone knows where i can find the firmware for SM-G950UZKAAIO, by cricket. I tried rooting it but i couldn't.
Just flash the unlocked firmware. Then flash the att user data and you'll be on the unlocked firmware. Granted you won't have root tho unless you root that way then. I have the cricket s8 with the unlocked(att user data). I just haven't rooted yet.

And if not, use the samsung switch and it'll load the firmware

Verizon?
Do you know, if I unlock the cricket variant, would I be able to load Verizon user data and activate it on Verizon?
Just wondering since it's got the sm-g950u in model number and u is the unlocked version.
Thanks

Sounds like when you got your phone it was rooted and when you updated you lost root and got the latest version. You can root again and then install one of the debloated roms.

This is the nh5 version but I can't think of any reason why it won't work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2800402

My GF needs a updated (stable) VZ TW rom for her S5. I don't remember how to flash a stock VZ ROM to my girlfriend's S5 using twrp without locking the bootloader? Any help would be great. Thanks. And any suggestions on stock TW ROMs?
Anybody?

I don't think you can without locking the bootloader
Sent from my SM-G900V using XDA Free mobile app
If I understand/read it right. I only flash the ROM zips, in twrp. Kernel is included.

Since the lock info is almost completely contained in Qfuses on the SoC, it should work just fine to put a normal verizon rom on it...I don't know why you wouldn't just use an AOSP rom though...
Thanks. It is for my GF....she's needs the stability. And on CM ROMs the GPS doesn't work. Maybe I can convince her to try something different though. Ha.
You can flash this.

It flashes recovery, though--make sure you don't do that if you don't want it.
Thanks. Will give it a try tonight
Nope didn't boot. Gave it about 13min
I had to flash TWRP in Odin to restore.... (A scary couple of minutes. Lol)
You really can't brick these things. Just create an unbrick image (there's a thread about somewhere around here) and put it on an sdcard. I'm serious--I absolutely hosed my phone (no bootloader) and that brought it right back.
Of course, I'm not issuing a _challenge_

I'm really curious at to why that ROM wouldn't work. What did you use to flash it?

Here, this is what you want. Flash this:

Thanks...I'm using twrp, I was using Phil's. But I'll don't remember. When I get back into town I'll try again. Is there an update to twrp maybe? I would rather use a cm ROM but I could never get the GPS to pick up satellites.
Currently have a SM-G930P, 6.0.1 October 1, 2016 patch, baseband G930PVPS4APJ2. Is this version rootable?
My ultimate goal is to root and then flash a T-Mobile based rom (SM-G930T) since I use T-Mobile with this phone.
Anyone know if this is possible and have any tips?
No, its not rootable
I also would love to flash a T-Mobile rom
Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
when I had a T-Mobil gs7e I flashed an att rom and bricked it.
recovery impossible.
If your phone is unlocked from Sprint you can Odin the 935U firmware and use a Tmobile sim. That firmware also unlocks all the lte bands for Tmobile. I am using it now. Make sure after you Odin you have the Tmobile sim in the phone if the Sprint sim is in it will lock again.

Does anyone know if we can flash Xfinity mobile firmware on sprint or Boost mobile an if so will it work right ??
Always flash at your own risk, however, it should work fine. Just dont flash the userdata file.
