I've been seeing posts that BLU released an Android 7.0 update for the Vivo 5R but my phone, after having reinstalled the ROM does not have the update function. Does anyone have a copy of the official BLU 7.0 ROM?
I had this issue too. buuuuump

It doesn't exist outside Motorola yet. You have to flash the first Nougat official update via Fastboot and then only shall you be able to update via ADB or Recovery to the latest version.

I don't recommend you update your device using this app. I updated my device using this app once but the update was unofficial and messed up my phone, and I had to downgrade it back to Marshmallow. I don't recommend it to anyone who wants to update his phone. Just be patient and wait for the Huawei to release the original OTA update.

I don't receive any update via OTA because i buy this phone on a site. It was new, but is was buy probable of Sri Lanka or China. This is the reason to use Firmware Finder, and update from MM to N works good. My question is: what is the final version of EMUI and Android for my P9 Lite?
Thanks.

To check that you have to email Huawei. I can't know because I don't have the proper requirements as Huawei has.

I found a tutorial here in xda. I can't remember it. Just search in xda "How to downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow" without quotes.
Can someone share a download link of firmware VNS-L31C636B506?
Thanks
Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum. I have a Lenovo K5 Note (Build No. A7020a48_S318_161128_ROW) and was waiting desperately for Android 7.0 Nougat update but I don't think, that would happen for this model.
I am looking for a way to upgrade my phone to Nougat (Without rooting the device if possible)

Hi, I have a Moto X Pure Edition (XT1575) running stock 6.0 Marshmallow w/ December 2016 update.
Android 7.0 Nougat has rolled out for XT1575. But I didn't receive it.
As my phone have bootloader unlocked, rooted, custom recovery (TWRP) installed and XPOSED installed too.
Is there any ways to flash the official Android 7.0 Nougat OTA using TWRP? Or any other methods?
Thanks

This has been discussed. Please search and read. You will get answers for all of your questions.
I've been trying to figure out the exact same thing. everything I've read says that you need to remove root, downgrade, take OTA's, then re-root. Seems extremely complicated and counter-intuitive. If you find a solution please let me know.
It is in the second post on Moto X Pure homepage... But, in case you missed it https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/general/guide-xt1575-update-to-nph25-200-22-t3680477 Follow this exactly and you'll have Nougat.
I wish somebody with more knowledge than i would create a stock 7.0 rom for the people that don't want total stock. I would love to but I totally admit I am no Dev. Lol as I think it would be a popular rom and from what I've seen quite a few people would love to download and install a package like that.
Hi everyone!
I've bought online a new P10 lite that I'm going to get in a few days.
As it will probably come with the old 7.1.2, I will flash the firmware with the lastest Official Android 8.0 Oreo Update (unfortunately, I'm a new user on this forum and I currently cannot post outside links, but you can find it if you ask Google for "Huawei P10 Lite Official Android 8.0 Oreo Update").
I want to root this stock firmware. On this forum, the following webpage shows how to do it (I guess it is for 7.1.2) : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/twrp-how-to-root-p10-lite-t3617418
... but I'm wondering, does this procedure work with the above mentioned Oreo stock firmware?
Thanks!

You are correct, I didn't read carefully the link I referred to, I thought the downloads were Oreo firmwares.
However, Oreo for P10 Lite is about to be released (see twitter com/HuaweiPhones/status/957808377484148743)
Do you believe that this procedure to root the P10 Lite will work on Oreo? : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/twrp-how-to-root-p10-lite-t3617418
I know that Oreo will soon be released Oreo for P10 Lite.
Your link on root for Nougat. On Oreo not work.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You are very funny, you wan t to a phone you don t have yet with a ROM that is not released yet your post is so useful.
Why do you think anyone can tell if root will be or not possible?
Many devices is posible to easy root in one version of Android and after upgrade is not easy any more.
U need wait first for we have an official Oreo.

Your over-reaciton is more dumbish than his post.
1. P10 Lite didn't get Oreo (yet)
2. P10 Lite comes with Android 7.0 out of box
